I don't understand how you can shit up a cake. Mix + gas mark 6 for so many minutes + some icing sugar at the end = job done.
It looks easy when Ms. Pepe does it.
Icing sugar.
The problem with baking is that it costs money and takes ages.
Yeah, unless it's a regular hobby, it's far cheaper to just buy a cake.
Do you eat this stuff all yourself?
My girlfriend is obsessed with baking, which is annoying because she mostly makes shit stuff that I have to pretend to like. Chocolate-based stuff is the worst since the chocolate just tastes better by itself.
No. The tarts from before got shared about amongst mine and my girlfriend's families. Those eclairs were eaten by my group at Uni (I had one).
That's part of the reason I don't bake more to be honest - I don't want to end up an amorphous blob.
You'd be a diabetic by about half six if you tried to scoff that lot yourself.
Those eclairs look minging, to be honest.
What? I think they look great. Generally everything RL posts that he's cooked looks great. I'd love to be his friend.
I agree, his cooking looks pretty tits normally, however those eclairs don't look like they'd all that much.
In Benny's cooking world, I've put my slow cooker to good use, got a chilli to look forward to tonight. Cooked it last night (used Guinness and Chipotle peppers to be extra poncy) and have let it rest for the day, the flavours are going to blow my mind.
My girlfriend bought a food processor. Last week she used it to make guacamole. The quality is not the same as hand made. She was told so and she is back to doing it by hand. Guacamole.
Pureed guacamole is dreadful, you have my backing on that one Pepe.
It wasn't even pureed, it was just not the same. Hand chopped/mashed is the only way to go.
You should just bin off that medicine rubbish and open a patisserie, RL.
Just had what was essentially a Mugshot mixed with Smash, and it was incredible.

Someone suggest a curry to try that isn't the norm, pls
I bought some Irish black pudding, and it has so much roughage in it that it's basically haggis. Is that how they make it, or did I buy a shit version?
Chamak Chalo and Patan Gosht both look alright. Bit of an average menu though.
Is a Dansak considered normal?
'Moonlit Chicken' sounds alright, but I'll always recommend the same thing. South Indian garlic chilli chicken. If they don't do it find a new takeaway.
The food is pretty great and its only £1.50 delivery. Thank you v much for the suggestions.
Great enough that someone in Arbroath might pay a fiver for delivery? Lol at that even being an option. Also, the idea of getting a prawn marie rose from an Indian.
There's varying degrees of it. I prefer the totally smooth one personally but the one you will normally see on a resraurant menu here is full of grains, as is the main brand that the tourists always go mad for. Very hard to find one with proper blood in it these days too.
The one you want is Rudd's if you see it anywhere.
.
While we're on takeaways, are dedicated dessert delivery places a thing anywhere else? I know of about five that have opened up in the last year, offering nothing but ice cream and various cakes, and it all seems completely unnecessary. There's no chance there are enough bereaved women and fat wankers, even in Glasgow, to support five of them, so who the fuck is keeping them afloat?

That, for example.
Who's getting that delivered for four quid?Quote:
Bowl Me Over Milkshake
Skittles & blue Millions topped with marshmallow & bubble gum sauce
Waff have you been to Titanic pizza seeing as how you're a teuchtar?
Go mate. It's ran by two older lesbians and they only employ young student girls, not a Moslem in sight. Plus it's all freshly made.
I had myself a steak, carrot & swede mash and some salad just now. Washed down with some chai tea and a Bounty
Do you reckon they're into anal beads and shit?
Not sure about the scat but anal beads definitely. The older lesbians are definitely piss tasters.
Wtf is quinoa? My wife wants me to make a Spring Quinoa Salad with Honey Lemon Vinaigrette for us to eat this week and has dropped the recipe on the desk for me to look at.
And has better health benefits.
Cheers, Giggles. Just googled it for further information. I then realised what I was calling quin-o-ah is the stuff I've heard of before called kin-wah.
EDIT: and Kiko too.
Keenwah is delicious. :)
Used it recently in a chilli to replace the minced beef and it wasn't bad. Needed a lot of flavour added (and a bank loan), but was a decent change.
Nando's have started doing a quinoa salad, and as a lovely visual representation of the plebbery of both their business and their customer base, their big advertising sandwich boards tout it as a 'keenwah salad'.
I tried KFC the other day for the first time in ages. It's absolutely fucking horrible. Lol at the people saying it's the same as Nando's.
I've got some flour kicking about that I want to make something with to at least use some of it up. I was thinking about these as I've got most of the ingredients and I imagine they'd be nice - http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/cr...tbutterc_87012 . Can I use normal granulated sugar instead of caster sugar though? Will that make much difference?
Also, I saw this on Buzzfeed - http://www.buzzfeed.com/sweetestmenu...14y#.tqmYpPJWO
I was thinking some chopped up Twix added to the peanut butter cookie recipe might be nice but should I reduce the sugar a bit then so they're not too sweet?
