I hope and think Tiger Roll smashes is though.
The maximum any horse racing bet can return is a million, regardless of what the slip says.
Waff is going to be seething when they withhold £1.4m of his winnings.
Just bookmakers covering their arses against some freak event. They all have it in their terms & conditions.
I signed up to Sporting Bet for an offer and they’re after proof of identity - no idea why as never done it before. Trying to withdraw £200 odd but the issue is my Passport is out of date and no other proof of identity lol. This is great.
Does anyone know the minimum deposits and withdrawal amount for paddy power?
Either 5 or 10, I’d guess.
Deposit is a fiver for sure
I tweeted them. Minimum withdrawal is a tenner.
I have a “risk free” £5 bet but I’ve gotta deposit a tenner, bet a fiver, then withdraw either the original £10, or the remaining £5+winnings. But if a bellend move. I wonder how many people will deposit a fiver and then not be able to get it back.
This is the link they text me if anyone has a pp account to check if you’re eligible: http://pdy.pr/LW5NSA
It's not valid if it's expired. My mate has been refused entry to a club because of it.
It's a dickhead move, but not uncommon.
Yeah I’ve been refused in pubs, for fags and for fucking red bull in the last few months. Surely they can’t keep the money I deposited though? They literally sent a message saying my passport was authorised when they initially asked for verification and then once I request money there’s a u turn.
They can.
Getting a provisional for thirty quid or whatever it is is your best bet.
Well that’s bollocks. How can they confirm the account and then when I win money they backtrack. I need to stick to the better known betting sites. Christ.
I won about $600 on a free bet with an American site about a decade ago and it took me 6 months to get my money. They used every excuse in the book. I had to provide my passport scan about 4 times, and then they tried saying the site was only for US nationals. Eventually I managed to speak to someone higher up who authorised it.
Lol I just phoned as I’m off for Aintree anyway and ten mins later I’ve got it in my PayPal.
Kalashnikov NAP
Bet365 50% back on EW singles.
Kalashnikov
Would have won at Cheltenham if it wasn’t for the horse in front slide tackling him. Step up in trip does wonders.
Buveur D'Air really shagged me today.
Disappointed by the lack of value in some races.
The Captain’s Inn at 50s on Paddy Power tomorrow (!!!!)
Bryony Frost on ITV racing. End me now. Most sickening love affair in history.
I’ve pulled Outlander in the work sweepstake.
Me too :D
I’ll be annoyed if it wins cos the winner only gets £25 and it’s 66/1 or something daft like that. I sorted it out so probably could’ve cheated too.
I chose mine third last. Tiger Roll went second last. :(
Tiger Roll at 5.5 now. Hopefully even more money ploughed on tomorrow and I’m all over him.
My sister has pulled out Lake View Lad while her partner pulled out A Toi Phil in their sweepstakes :D :|
All each way:
£2 Rock the Kasbah
£1 Ultragold
£1 Captain Redbeard
£1 Magic of Light
£1 Outlander
Adios money.
If Tea for Two or Livelovelaugh place I shan't be happy.
B365’s offer (existing customers only) is pretty good. Half your stake back on all losing EW bets. I just bet £30 and they’ve already given me £15 straight back.
So I’ve a long list of horses, all EW.
£25 Dounikos (5 places) 40/1
a BS £5 acca that includes Jury Duty (5 places) 20/1
£1 Rathvinden (10 places) 9/2
£1 Monbeg Notorious (10 places) 33/1
£1 Blow By Blow (10 places) 50/1
£1 Step Back (10 places) 12/1
£1 Ultragold (10 places) 30/1
20p :cab: Noble Endeavour 40/1 (5 places)
£5 One For Arthur (6 places) 20/1
£5 Warriors Tale (6 places) 100/1
£5 Vintage Clouds (6 places) 11/1
£5 Outlander (6 places) 80/1
The bottom four are for the wife.
EDIT: stuck the £15 cashback straight into Tiger Roll EW (7 places) 15/4 because I genuinely believe it’s between Tiger Roll and Dounikos, accidents-aside.
I want Tiger Roll to win so badly. Got £25 on the nose at 5/1. £5 ew on Dounikos, Go Conquer, Don Poli, Step Back and Jury Duty. Forecasts on too.
Got a lot of money riding on Poker Play in the first.

Magic of Light.
Looked magnificent throughout. Fuck the favourites.
3rd year in a row we've turned a healthy profit off a tenner.
Had a fiver each way on Jury Duty but it fell. Didn't believe the hype about Tiger Roll but I should have got on board.
Backing Tiger Roll at those odds would have been boring as hell.
The fucking fivehead and eyebrows on that.
Any ideas on 5th and 6th?
Anibale Fly was 5th.
One for Arthur sixth
Great ride from Russel. Picked his pockets throughout and poised at the perfect moment. Only £100 profit gained. Shocking price.

Chess Player in the last at Ayr tomorrow. Get on it.

Juventus @ 2.10 & Barcelona @ 1,80 on Bet365. Definately making a double out of that.
Fucking hell Juventus losing to fucking Spal. What a joke.
Barcelona also drew 0-0. I'm guessing with odds like that, Ronaldo and Messi didn't feature.
They've already won their leagues, and the games are in between champions league matches. I would be surprised if they weren't sending the under 13s out.
Gone for a big odds Lucky 63 with my last remaining pennies before payday on Thursday. :uhoh:

No Throw In In The 1st 15 Minutes @325/1
Apparently Ballymena are throwing their game vs Crusaders today. :sherlock:
Where have you heard that?
Tosh.
Well they’re winning 3-0 so :sorry:
(67th min)
EDIT: finished 3-0.
For the record, it was claimed a lot of the Ballymena players had backed Crusaders. :gs:
Kemboy is some horse. Would have pissed the Cheltenham Gold Cup if the accident didn’t happen.
Was there a VAR call last night during the Spurs-Ajax game?
Apparently Twitter went bonkers because people's VAR bet didn't get settled or something over the ref not doing the VAR TV gesture on screen.
No. It only counts if he goes over. Just having them in his ear isn’t a review.
Well that's :D if anything.

Feel free to take it with a pinch of salt but the owner of Indianapolis in the 13:50 at York tomorrow placed a £1000 EW bet on his own horse earlier today. 28/1 on SkyBet, EW 4 places. 33/1 in some places. :sherlock:
I'm here again to bore you about horses (the one two posts up came 6th I think, soz) but I assume some of you took advantage of the "money back as cash upto £20" that Skybet did over Cheltenham? They've an offer one at the moment for first race everyday of the Dante Festival (York) that isn't quite as good, so I've not made use of it all week until tomorrow.
The reason it's not as good as you only get your money back as cash if your horse comes 2nd or 3rd.
Tomorrow there is a horse called Lady Kermit running, who is way ahead of the pack in terms of Racing Post Ratings and speed figures. Obviously the favourite but 4/1 could net you one hundred smackers, off a £20 win bet.
I just can't see it coming 4th or worse.
(If you fancy a bigger gamble, Might Spirit 10/1 looks pretty good to me.) :gs:
I've backed Lady Kermit £20 to win @ 4/1
Also worth noting that some Skybet accounts have the same offer but upto £50, rather than £20.
tl;dr if you've got £20 to spare, it's worth betting it on Lady Kermit to WIN in the 13:50 race at York tomorrow.
I wish there was more folk into horses on here so we could get a thread. I can only rely on discussing it with my 60 year old, noncey, manager lol.
John Gosden took a hammering today. Happy days.
Edit: Mighty Spirit looked decent considering how green it was when against Lady Kermit.

Ahh gtf
Lady Kermit came 3rd.
Money back from sky at least but I’d rather have £100 than £20
Regret not putting hundreds on Stradivarius. How the fuck did it drift to 1.80.

Cricket World Cup (all odds from Coral)
NAP: Babar Azam to be Pakistan's top run scorer @ 2/1. This is ludicrous value. He is brilliant and the rest of them are a farce.
Also good value: Rohit Sharma to be India's top run scorer @ 7/2. Virat is Virat, but Rohit has been supremely effective at the top of the order in ODIs for a long time now and all things being equal he gets more balls to face than the great man.
Rohit (16/1) and Babar (20/1) also good value for top tournament runscorer, although I would have the lower priced guys like Kohli and Smith as well earned favourites. I'm on Babar each way for this.
Total tournament stumpings: OVER whatever the bookies lay down, in this case 14.5. This tournament is crawling with leg spinners.
Tournament winner: it really should be England or India, and both are well odds against so choose your weapon. However, if you fancy a shock I have been on West Indies for a long time at a much longer price than the 16/1 now available. They love turning up for a tournament and Gayle will want to go out on a high. Bowling slightly questionable, but isn't everyone's these days? You can also get Pakistan at 12/1 if you want to spend the next six weeks in a drug induced haze.
Top wicket taker: This ball doesn't swing, so I am dangerously going to discount Trent Boult and indeed New Zealand as a team. Instead, Jasprit Bumrah and his weird-angle exocets seem tempting even at short priced 14/1. For a longer each way punt, Jofra Archer and Rashid Khan at 20/1 apiece seem generous. In reality though, this market is a bit of a lottery.
And finally, player to hit most sixes: Chris Gayle at 5/1. The universe boss likes to print money and presumably spend it on a second stripper pole for his back garden, so I'll join him.
Good stuff.
I’m on this from what I posted in the cricket thread:

15:05 Guildsman 7/1
15:40 Mabs Cross 8/1
16:20 Shaman 11/1

17:35 Magic Wand 5/1

Double for tomorrow, both at Newcastle
3:30 Theatro
4:05 Bowerman
Both the favourites but for a very good reason. Double is about 6/1 at the moment.
I’m just waiting for Sky to price up cos that’s where my money is.
A New Dawn is running now at Naas if you want some easy money, Baz.
In The Present looked much better. He ran about a month ago and flopped pretty early.
Big Lachie @8 EW in the 18:10 then I'm running a mile. I hate the horses in the evening.
I’ve made a decent amount of money these past few weeks on the dogs in the local Ladbrokes on a Saturday morning waiting for the missus. I have no idea about them but just following the earlier results of what traps done well (high/low) and if any late money comes in.
Started with a £5 on Saturday and won around £190. £5 single, £5 double and £20 single. Was a bit sick that I didn’t back a three or four fold
Tell me you got on that one too, @Baz.
Waff - I find I win more in the bookies than online and I'm a lot more reserved too which is pleasant but the amount of times I back a few horses that win a row then wish I had some sort of combination. The best I had the other day was a 5/1 and 6/1 finish 1st and 2nd. I had the reverse FC.
Only this left.

I may be privy to a bit of a scandal in the racing. Runs next Tuesday but not sure if its another handbrake job or the one theyve been waiting for. Depends on the odds, I think. Hoping for 20s. :sst:
Tomorrow is not the day. It’s 12/1 in a five horse race and they want it to come last.

Oh I should clarify it’s not mine. :dc:
No cash out option?
My friend had one of those last season where he picked a bunch of league and trophy winners. Barca for the Champions League let him down for £34k.
Sky Bet has still got EFL league champions as 4 places I believe Baz.
Sweet. Fulham? :eyemouth:
Will definitely happen:
- Bolton relegated
- Bury relegated
- Juventus win Serie A
And very likely:
- Barcelona win La Liga
- Charlton relegated
- Salford promoted
- Celtic win SPL
I always do a top five divisions thing. Settled on Man City, Sunderland, Forest Green and Fylde, just don't have a clue in hell about the Championship. Leeds are way too short, I might get involved in West Brom.
I've gone Man City, Fulham, Sunderland and Leyton Orient.
Then an even more optimistic, Liverpool, Cardiff, Ipswich, Walsall, Wrexham and Chester which would make me a millionaire and I promise should it happen I shall buy TTH it's very own functioning football team in the lower leagues. .
I reckon Plymouth for League 2.
I tend not to fancy relegated teams, the wind is not with them.
All depends on whether Jose Baxter turns up.
The gambling documentary on iPlayer is an alright watch. Some comedian who was in a Ladbrokes ad has x amount of time to double his £7500. Speaks to four professional gamblers who all know what they're doing.
Ends up on the final day chasing his profit target on a a bunch of English 3pm kick off bets. Good one.
The court-siding bit makes me want to book a flight to Cape Town to watch a load of shit tennis, but you really would need an endless stream of bookmaker accounts. The greyhound punter must be fucking fuming that all his bets lost when he got to be on the telly. Not really sure what either of them gained out of going on it. The former especially, I'd definitely want to be keeping it hush hush and he's gone into pretty fine detail about what his process entails.
If I had £7500 to play with I don't think I'd be doing the horses or the dogs. I'd be playing at much shorter odds, maybe over 0.5 goals only. It's a decent enough watch but not that informative.
Why shorter odds? Are prices more likely to be wrong?
You're making the mistake that Smiffy has a clue what he's talking about.
Unless a dog or a horse was 1/9.
You still wouldn't as it could all be over within minutes. At least with the overs on football you get 90 minutes to secure the goal. It takes just one wrong bounce with the dogs or a dodgy jump with the horse.
1/9 on a horse is far more risky than 1/9 on a goal being scored for me. I've seen enough horse racing to know it's suspect as fuck and enough of those short price favourites have faltered.
1/9 is 1/9.
There were 22 0-0 draws in the premier league last season. Works out about 1 in 23. The average odds for a 0-0 draw this weekend are about 11/1.
Just watched the documentary.
Fucking nuts. No chance in hell I would ever courtside or whatever the fuck that is called.
Dybala to PSG @8
Im doing acca's again. I have a fivefold with three results in. Last results are Portsmouth to win and Ajax to win by two goals or more for £107
Stuck a fiver on Bournemouth, Burnley, Watford and West Brom. Returns about 100 quid. All drawing 0-0 at half time except Watford who are losing. :moop:
I was looking at Bournemouth at evens who seemed like good value but didn't add them in.
Everton red card.
Zaha on
To score next
@15
I had City 4-0 and -2.5, then did a double of Brighton and Tottenham-Villa draw. Better fucking win because too often I go down the right path but fall at the last hurdle.
Cashed out. Tottenham applying too much pressure. Cba with the stress.
Momentarily had a cash out of just under five hundred quid on a six team acca due to one of the teams I'd backed against getting a red card, but by the time I'd considered it Angers had scored and are now giving Bordeaux a right dicking. :moop:
Tadic makes it 3-0 to Ajax. I should be nice from here.
That is 97 to start the season nice from my original 20£
Arsenal -2.5 for today @ 6.8. I know Arsenal are Arsenal, but Newcastle are really Newcastle at the moment.
Currently SLNA 0-0 Hai Phong. 46 minutes.
Full expect Hai Phong to grab a winner through some comical defending. #ItsAFix
Celtic, Porto & Ajax @3
Going well so far.
This Friday's match fixing is brought to you by Danang FC....
Danang FC v Hanoi FC
Cheers. Turned £25 into £52.50.
Any :sherlock: stuff round your way this weekend @John Arne?
I just had the mother of all endings for a big return. Waiting for Real Salt Lake for three figures, chance after chance missed, as you do. 89th minute, a red card for the opponents. Too little too late I thought but alas, a goal in the 90th! Winner.
Or is it? Nope. VAR! Referee decides not to give it. Wanker. Crowd aren't happy. Neither was I. Goal ruled out. Then in the 96th minute, 2 minutes over the allotted time, a penalty! GOAL! Winner! Then the noise Bet365 makes when another goal has been scored...Oh no...I daren't look. I already felt sick after the disallowed strike, surely it can't be an equaliser.....
2-0. Phew!
It probably failed as I was on it.
I can give a kiss of death to even a sherlocked game.
These odds seem generous so I’ve stuck a tenner on:
Paris St-G to win to nil; Ibrahim Sangare & Steven Moreira to be carded
250/1
Stake:
£10.00
Potential returns:
£2,510.00
Individually they’re 1/1, 3/1, 3/1.
(Paddy power)
I put £5 on it as well as another £5 on PSG to win 3-0, 3-1 or 4-0.
Slap the ref or something Moreira.
Cash out?
Not available. These oddsboost things never are.
Annoyingly no PSG player is actually running at anyone, they're just playing one touch football and all Toulouse defenders are sat way off them.
Shucks.
How much did you win for the 4-0?
Returned £16.25 including the £5 stake.
Before I KO'd this morning I had stuck a fiver on a team that were 48/1 to win whilst drawing 1-1 at half time.....I couldn't make sense of it.
I don't know who Bilambil Redbacks are but they clearly surprised Tweed United 3 who won their previous match 12-1 or something daft.
I wish I had a bet fair account right now. Stuck over 0.5 goals with ten minutes left for Carlos A. Manucci against Universitario, Carlos down to ten but strike in final seconds of the game. That won the single, also have it in a double with Corinthians for a decent return as well as single on Corinthians. So now I've backed the draw and a win for Avai. I've had to go big so I'm either walking away with £380 at a minimum, £535 in second place but the jackpot if Corinthians win is a solid £1100.
I started with £14. :D
On Saturday, I put on a random £2 acca across multiple results over multiple days. Ive just checked and it is still on after 7 results. Final three results, I need Lyon to beat Montpellier away. Olympiacos @3 to beat Krasnodar away and Ajax to beat APOEL at home.
If it comes in, I win £251. No cashout available.
Edit. Lyon...
What odds can I get on Bolton staying up?
Celtic @ 3.10. Have they ever been that high in a scottish game?
Not in a long while. Rangers have a great attack, on a high and Celtic’s defence is shite. Probably aboot correct. Rangers won’t get a better chance to win the league in a while.
Still, mon the tims
I created an eight-fold when I got back yesterday at around 6pm, but somehow I fell asleep and woke up with my phone on my chest at midnight. I went back and checked the results this morning and if I would have put it on. I would have won £151 from £5. :cab:
Ahh, aftertiming. I do miss diljeet.
Someone left work who likes horse racing and often goes to Cheltenham so my leaving present to her was £5 worth of antepost Cheltenham Festival 2020 bets. I even went to three different bookies to get the markets I wanted.
Arkle Chase - Draconian - 50p EW 33/1
Champion Bumper - Wide Receiver - 50p EW 33/1
Champion Hurdle - Saldier - 20/1
Supreme Novices Hurdle - Shishkin - 25/1
RSA Chase - Next Desination - 25-1
Ryanair Chase - Might Bite - 50/1

The bottom one could land 25k.
It's not after timing as he didn't win.
This thread needs more action.
Now Im single again Ive whapped a load of low stakes bets on to give 3pm some interest.
Weve enough resident gamblers that to offset my shite tips.
Ive gone for Charlton to beat Birmingham in my group bet club thing. Tell me why Im wrong.
Crewe are doing me over. Potentially QPR too if they keep going the way they’re going.
1-0 Birmingham. So I was wrong. Just dont know why..
Rotherham was tremendous value today. I wasn’t on though, or else I’d have said earlier.
Marseille vs *Nice @4
Nice have won three from four so far. Marseille have only won won
PSV vs Barca @ 2 looks OK. Both at home.

Shrewsbury Town @1.7 vs Southend United
Southend has not won any of their opening 7 league games.
Almeria @2 vs Girona
Almeria has won four out of the first five league games. Conceding one goal during that time
Coventry @1.61 vs AFC Wimbledon
Coventry are top and Wimbledon are winless in eight league games so far
Gone for over 3.5 and both teams to score sixfolds in tonight's games. I love £2 interest accumulators of this type. You lose money but it's loads of fun to follow them, and just occasionally one comes in like a boss.

I can't access any betting sites at the moment, can someone tell me what Sanna Khanh Hoa are to beat Saigon FC tomorrow?
Although Khanh Hoa are bottom, Saigon FC are safe and ripe for a brown envelope.
Flat season pretty much over tomorrow. Here’s my picks for Ascot tomorrow, hope you all become millionaires with me.
1.35 - Cape Byron EW
2.10 - Stradivarius will win, Mekong EW
2.45 - Star Catcher should win, Klassique EW
3.20 - Raising Sands EW, Veracious EW
4.00 - Addeybb
4.40 - Escobar EW
Trixie on Stradivarius, Star Catcher and Addeybb and then some sort of Yankees for the rest.
Done a £6.30 EW lucky 63 on the first horse mentioned for each race.
Also been sent this (by request) for over 2.5 goals today.
The German 12pm is away to ruin it before it even started lol
I've done six teams from that overs list and also done trebles on the outsiders for today's PL games.
What a horrendous day on all fronts
Aye.
Crewe and Villa scoring late meant Forrest Green letting a two goal lead slip was more costly than I thought. Fuck sake.
Good shout on Escobar.
Veracious placed and Star Catcher/Escobar winning made it not too bad. Not exactly great though. Klassique looked good for a large part and Addeybb in second looked in with a chance.
Mon the National Hunt.
I decided not to go on anything today after losing close to £500 in the last two weeks. Of course the bet I decided not to do went on to win. FML.
The bulk of the losses was attempting the stupid 0.5 goals again. :moop:
I'm going for draw-LIV ht/ft. MUN have clear orders and they'll probs give it a good shot.
Not sure how I don’t win on the football tonight. Bradford, Swindon, Bristol Rovers, Newport and Shakhtar all over priced.
Bradford, Swindon, Bristol City, Newport, PSG and Atletico 26/1
Then a few more acca’s with Exeter, Swansea, Crewe and Farsley Celtic thrown in.
I'm on Brugge +1 and City -2 in the Champions League tonight.
I'm on Dinamo Zagreb now then probably Galatasary and Red Star.
How have Bradford drifted to 2.10 from 1.80. I wish I didn’t delete half my accounts and limit the ones I use. Fuck.
Get a BetBull account if you've not already. One of the better bookies about at the moment.
Is that not what all the football tipsters on Twitter is attaching their links so they get money? Backing odds of 1/3 etc? Yuck
Nice of Shakhtar’s goalkeeper to ruin the first coupon already. What on earth was that :D
Fuck sake.
4.75 for Zagreb was absurd. Even without the penalty, they've been the stronger side.
I've cashed out. Shakhtar are gonna go all out here. I've sacked the Turks off to go all in on Red Star. Serbs are far more reliable in their lunacy.
At least big Alvaro notched a winner to save three of the coupons. Remind me never to back Atletico again, especially in an early fucking kick off.
Gone big on Gala or draw.
Would be nice if Andone could finish.
That went tremendously well. Holy shit.
Both Dundee teams have scored in the last 7 meetings of the two teams in all comps.
The last 10 meetings have 42 produced goals.
Only 1 of the last 10 meetings has had less than 3 goals.
1.80 for over 2.5 goals is generous. Usually always a red card or penalty too
Cheltenham at home tomorrow is an absolute banker. Swindon have never won there, and in the last cup meeting between the two sides got done 5-0. It's free money.
Am wi Waff on o2.5 from HT
You could have easily had three. Shame.
I demand a train on Wycombe tomorrow at 2.40. What the fuck am I missing. Top of the league, best home form and against a mid table team with 5 points on the road.
xG has them about as good as each other this season. Doncaster take more shots than anyone in the league, just been below average at converting. Quicker turnaround for Wycombe too who played 120 mins in the cup on Wednesday (most of it with 10 men).
Not saying who's right or wrong, just a couple of things you might have missed.
Noticed the FA Cup which is fair enough, just think the odds are far too kind. Same with Huddersfield as well.
Bankers at Navan today.

Get your life savings on the double. Free money.
How could you be arsed backing a double at 1.61. Plus, it’s Irish racing. Avoid.
Free money - lol.
Uh oh.
Think Captain Guinness was winning regardless of the fall at the last tbh
:(
Latest Exhibition finished 2nd to Abacadabras last month which just strengthens the latter and Envoi Allen’s form.
Don’t think anything touches either
My 286/1 outside 6 fold was a Newcastle equaliser away from coming in, and yet fucking Leicester deciding not to turn up against Norwich stuffs my normal accumulator. Was so close to a great day yesterday.
I have £5 on United to win 2-0, 2-1 or 3-0
£10 on Martial FGS
£20 on Rashford AGS.

Mason is a hero.
Nice. I need an Arsenal draw now to complete a treble for today's Premier League fixtures. Unlikely but stranger things have happened. If they can get to half time with the scoreline level then I might cash out.
I cannot wait to waste lots and lots of pennies on the obscene amount of horse racing tomorrow. Football too of course.
Ah, pre-season match fixing. Through on goal, keeper lost, and the striker turns around.

Bit early for me (Cheltenham first, innit) but 25/1 for Le Breuil to win the Grand National is crazy good.
Put £1 on all 22 race meetings this afternoon and then 10p ew system bet on each card.
1/1 so far. All down hill from here. Done it last night, quite a few been back well.
This is a random thought but for those who like politics bets, I would suggest Rebecca Long-Bailey to be Labour leader is current much, much too long.
Over 4/1. Very interesting.
Why is Starmer odds on favourite? What's the logic that I need to believe is wrong?
The reason he is a short priced favourite is an early YouGov poll of members giving him 46% first round and 63% in a run-off against RLB, however I would not take these polls taken three months out remotely seriously. Similar early polls in 2015 showed Andy Burnham pissing it.
Starmer is the logical choice for respectable society: obviously been preparing for this for a very long time, well-liked in Remain circles, a lawyer, part of the London liberal furniture for a good couple of decades. Has the most backing among Labour MPs. He looks a bit like a Prime Minister. Hugh Grant could play him in a film if he was prepared to put a weird wig on and adopt the aura of a shallow cunt. He's also done a Theresa May with great effectiveness by being on the inside throughout the Corbyn regime (thus proving his 'loyalty'), but not said or done anything meaningful for about two years. This would appear to make him a 'unity' candidate.
However, I just don't think the Labour membership is ready to give up on the Corbyn fruitcake dream just yet, and the one member one vote system really gives 'Becky' a shot. She's the only left left candidate and the true believers, having seized control of the party after decades on the sidelines, will not give it back to the smoothies easily. I think she's being understated in the centrist dad media mostly because that's what they want to happen, and if there's one thing we know about the centrist dad media from the last five or so years it is that they do not learn their lessons regarding their own groupthink.
I would have them neck and neck. Lisa Nandy has no chance, however much the remaining Blair sympathisers in the press want her to have one.
Hamilton Accies to lose today. Livingston evens. /AsianMafia
Bali Utd v Than Quang Ninh
What's the info?
No, nothing dodgy. Just Quang Ninh are shit. (they just went 1-0 up). :D
Did they follow my advice and get some more Nguyễns in?
Bali Utd 4-1 TQN
Braga @ 3/1 in places. It's a must.
I’ve got the Wetherbys Guide for Cheltenham again if anyone wants it in pdf.
No point when it'll be cancelled.
Not a chance. Should have lumped on when it was 5/6 to go ahead
Willy Hills doing EW 7 places for the Supreme Novice tomorrow (1st race). Their odds are a bit shit because of it but SP may be the way to go.
Alternatively, for anyone who fancies a bit of genuine risk free betting, you can bet £10 on a horse to win in the first race (13:30) everyday and you get the money back as cash if it loses - with SkyBet.
Basically you get four free £10 bets and either a big pile of money or the end of it, or just withdraw your tenner back into your bank.
Just have some restraint not to bet on any of the other races and you could end up quids in.
I’ve signed my mum up, and she also got £20 in free bets for depositing her £10, which she’s looking forward to using on the Grand National. :)
Send me your fancies. I’m going balls deep in massive yankees as per usual. Shame I have like no online betting accounts left.

Altior out tomorrow. :o That’s Defi Du Seuil absolutely nailed on, surely.
1:30 - Abacadabras - The money has come in today and will quite rightly imo. Has the best form in the race when pushing Ballymore fav Envoi Allen close and beating a potential champion hurdler in Darvar Star. He quickens really well and with Davy Russell in the saddle there's no better to judge the pace. Joe Donnelly allowing both AF & Shishkin is a red flag for me.
4:50 - Espoir De Guye - Mud lark trained by Venetia Williams, what more could you want? Bumped up a stone after destroying a field at Ascot but he was well ahead of the handicapper that day. Jumps soundly and races handy. Will be there at the finish.
5:30 - Carefully Selected - Another selection with the best form in the race when 3rd to RSA fav Minella Indo last year. He went from back to the front with real power that day and the step up in trip here makes perfect sense.
Supasundae or Ballyandy winning here would be absolutely tremendous.
Don’t think I’ve ever been up after Day One before.
1:30 - Envoi Allen - This horse is a tank. The price is sickening, but with the form franking twice yesterday he simply must win.
5:30 - Eskylane - Appreciate It is a short fav for this race and the selection finished ahead of him earlier in the season. Romped home by 9l on heavy ground when last seen. Davy Russell on board is a bonus.
40p Rule 4 on the Champion Chase
I like Alfa Mix, Palladium and Slate House today. A day for favourites though I imagine
I’ll be ready to unload a bus full of money on whoever wins the 16:10 to win the National.
Champ on the run in there. Sweet mother of God
The idling in front.
Only Defi remains in the Queen Mother. JP can't believe his luck.
I considered it nailed on already cos I feel like Barry Gerraghty always wins that race, but the fact he’s on fire today just nails it on. Obviously rubbish odds but PILE ON.
Think that just confirms Altior would have romped home
I’ve heavily researched this SBK bookie and the £20 risk free bet (money back as cash, which can be withdrawn to your bank) is legit. PLUS you can get an extra £10 risk free bonus bet if you use promo code sihu674 when you sign up. Obviously you need to have £20 to spare, but you’ll get it back. I now have a weird situation where I have 14p left in my account that I keep rebetting and it keeps getting reimbursed and presumably will do until I’ve made twenty quids worth of 14p bets. Sign yourselves up, stick the lot on Solo to win the first and you’re laughing. Just remember you have to use your card, not PayPal.

Goshen will be an absolute monster.
Lots of progressive types running today.
2:50 - Thyme Hill - He's beaten some solid types and I still think he has more in the tank.
4:10 - Billaway - Better than this field imo.
4:50 - Greaneteen - Had an entry in the Arkle - must run a big race in this Grade 3.
5:30 - Front View - Form ties in with meeting banker Envoi Allen.
Paul Townend is a dirty cunt. Hope he breaks his legs in the Gold Cup.
Yeah absolute wanker.
Native River would have romped that. Low quality year overall imo.
That horse is on the juice. 100%.
Done alright on the horses and Belarus football today.
Kimberlite Candy - £50 win @ 16/1.
Aso, Double Shuffle, Yala Enki, Beware the Bear and Tiger Roll.
All £5 each way.
Wtf are you betting on that for? Worse than betting on fifa. :face:
Because:
a) do it every year
b) it's probably less rigged than the proper one
c) it's something to do
d) Proceeds to OUR NHS. I'm going to stand on the doorstep clapping until it's finished.
How could the Grand National be rigged of all races Hahahahah
:D
We do it every year
How tf have they managed to get away with this shit on primetime TV? Jesus, this is some toxic shit, well played authorities for allowing this.
Give the real Aso a fucking bullet.

Betting on virtuals is usually a sign of addiction.
Anyone who hasn't shut down all their betting accounts by now and withdrawn all the money needs their head checked. Any sport that is still on will only exist because it's fixed.
Monopoly Casino has been great fun

£5 on overs in the Dortmund/Schalke, Augsburg/Wolfsburg, Fortuna/Paderborn, Hoffenheim/Hertha and RB Leipzig/Freiburg games.
On BTTS in every game
Is that the train then? Fair, I can back a fun goals galore accy. Will unload on in-running market once my spidey senses kick in. Need to do the pre-game analysis tonight too.
BTTS hasn’t started off too well. Waiting on two goals. We go again.
I've also got £5 on BTTS in all the Bundesliga games and then £5 on Haaland to score, BTTS, 3 or more corners each & 10 or more booking points each in the Dortmund game.
This is going well.
Behind closed doors games will just be slow shitfests, all over the world. It's a completely different sport without a crowd.
Be really interesting to see if that holds true. I mean amateur football manages to see loads of goals.
And we're up and running.
It's happening
Keep the faith.
Well there's the overs in the Dortmund game.
Need a Schalke goal (as well as some corners for them and a booking each).
And there's the first BTTS.
Augsburg and Wolfsburg are heroes.
And they're our second overs to come in.
Edit: Disallowed :moop:
Dusseldorf and Paderborn ruined my overs :(
Edit: Freiburg too as their injury time winner was disallowed.
Well I put £5 on BTTS and overs in the Frankfurt/Gladbach game which has come off.
I put a Schalke to score next bet which confirmed 3 seconds before Dortmund's third. Didn't even get a ride ffs.
£20 on Leverkusen to win
£5 on Kai Havertz FGS.
The bookies absolutely raking it in and with no harmful long-term impact to them by the gamblers' enforced cold turkey-ing if this forum's activity is anything to go by.
Virtual greyhounds been keeping me going
He's injured too.
King Kai
I put the Kai FGS money on Leverkusen to win just before that goal
I got a gambling problem, yo. I won £500 earlier today and I’ve not been able to sleep because the thought of spending it has been on my mind all night. Finally cracked and reversed the withdrawal 15 mins ago and it’s gone already.
This has happened every time I’ve won recently when it lets you reverse the withdrawal. I’m fine with sports, weirdly. But online casinos? Ciao. I thought I blocked myself from them all, but they keep finding a way of coming to my attention. Grim.
When the fun stops, stop.
Easier said than done.
If you’re struggling with one (online slots) but fine with others (football and horses) your best bet is try and just pack it all in, cold turkey. Most bookies allow you to book a ‘cool off’ period so maybe lock yourself out for a month to start with?
I’ve never done online casinos cos I’ve never seen the appeal, so no idea if they offer the same kind of limits.
You need to get on the blocking software and blacklisting services or you'll be re-opening up or making new accounts left, right and centre.
Also, you need to stop with the 'I'm fine with sports' perspective and view it all under one toxic umbrella which you now have to battle for the next few years at least. Perfect chance to start the battle is now, too.
Take the advice and stay strong, Waff. You got this.
The missus has my money now. There’s no point in pretending it’s okay when it’s clearly an issue. I didn’t sleep at all last night, was just laying in bed with tears realising what a mess it all is.
I’m far too addictive personality wise - everything is fine in moderation but I always find a way of taking the fun out of things.
I lost 5.5k in two consecutive bets when I was 18/19 and felt a similar way. That hit me hard and I took my overall 2-3k loss and haven't gone back to big betting since. In a sense I might have been lucky to lose big early on.
A lot of the time it feels like I've got ADHD the way I get myself into trouble, but as I get older it's getting better. These days I try and lose myself in exercise first and foremost then I'm usually too tired to fuck myself up in other ways. Only advice I'll give is stay away from booze till you're in a good place again.
I never drink unless I’m out anyway. Have had a drink two or three times at most since lockdown. That’s never been an issue, more going out on binges
That's what I mean. Just one = all night.
Some dodgy movements in the Vietnam Cup. Get on it.
Just kicked off.
An Giang - Long An
15:35 Newmarket – 2000 Guineas – Saturday 6th June 2020
I can't justify betting enough to make Pinatubo's short 8/11 odds that wortwhile, but Mums Tipple could be good value at 40/1.
God I can't wait to watch Pinatubo.
Saw an advert on BT yesterday; "Here at Ladbrokes, we want you to gamble responsibly...". Aye, just like how Maccies want you to eat healthy. The gambling figures and impact for the next month are going to be to be filthy, I reckon. Hopefully they run a COVID-esque daily addicts count on the news and the industry finally gets reined in given everyone is so sensitive to factors affecting our health all pf a sudden.
Golf is back. I will post some tips each week if I remember. All each way.
Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas. This is an old fashioned ball striker's course and those wayward with the driver will be punished. McIlroy and Rahm are well worth the top two prices but there is some value from 'shorter' hitters down the field, the type of player who often does well here.
Collin Morikawa 40/1 - perhaps the best of the current American young guns but without the tedious hype of Wolff, he sets up very well here.
Matthew Fitzpatrick 45/1 - one of the best in the world from inside 130 yards, he isn't quite so hot off the tee but this is a second shot golf course and he was excellent in the
Charles Howell III 150/1 - the quiet man of the Tour, has been out there for 20 years but almost never wins, however he flushes an iron and maybe these weird crowdless circumstances will play to his advantage.
Hong Linh Ha Tinh v Hanoi FC
Pleased with these. Collin made a bit of a balls of the playoff in the end, but a terrific run before that netted a nice 50% profit overall and the other two had solid weeks as well.
This week we dixie-shuffle our way to the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head, South Carolina. This course is notorious as one of the few on tour (somewhat like Colonial last week, but more so) which gives the shorter hitters a chance, as a good wedge game and the ability to get up and down is what is needed to win around here. In normal years, a lot of the top guys would skip this as it comes right after the Masters, but it's a different story this week as everyone is playing.
First pick is a man who plays the most golf out of anyone, Sungjae Im. This is a genuinely homeless man - he travels from tournament to tournament, living out of a suitcase and earning millions of dollars in a very short space of time. His bulletproof all-round game should suit this course and at 28/1 I'm taking him over the short priced star names.
Next up, at 50/1, Kevin Kisner. I'm a long time admirer of Kiz, who has an unspectacular game but an unflappable temperament - America should pick him in every Ryder Cup team, but they never will because his face doesn't fit. Anyway, he played fine last week and I like him for this.
If it's short game you want, look no further than Shane Lowry who tends to be a bit hit and miss in the States, but undoubtedly has the touch to go well here - the most recent major winner going off at 70/1 is enough to tempt me, especially as he was tied third here last year.
Finally, everyone loves a long shot and even in a field like this, this is a course with a history that suggests that pretty much anyone can win. How about J.J. Spaun, who weighs in at 400/1 and may sound like a science fiction writer but has a few solid finishes around here in the past as well as a low-key questionable twitter feed, suggesting PGA Tour success cannot be far away.
Noticed you can’t cancel a withdrawal anymore. Bastards. I’d be up about £2-3k if that was a thing since the turn of the year.
You not knocked it on the head yet?
£20 on ponies in last two weeks to build a balance for Royal Ascot tomorrow. Haven’t touched an online casino since my post.
Speaking from knowing two problem gamblers well, the only way seemed to be to drop it all. I hope you prove me wrong but if not, make sure the next downer is the last.
Terrible time for irishracing to go down.
Space Traveller 25/1 In the 13:50 should have you reaching for the tissues. :youpi:
Had Accidental Agent at 100/1 but Betfair only paying out four places :(

Every few months I get something like this emailed to me. I live in hope one day that it transpires to be the late Graham of the great summer of 2009. What a time to be alive that was for those who lived it.
Graham
They really were the glory years of the thread.
Celta to topple Barca @ 6/1 is a must.
Tommy Wright next Dundee United manager is 4/1 on SkyBet if anyone has a spare couple hundred quid. All but been confirmed
Ha. He’s been offered the job but I suppose he could always turn it down. The papers are running a story tomorrow saying Steve McLaren is holding talks so that should push your odds up.
Shouldn’t be an announcement for 3 days or so.
Edit: hes apparently turning it down. Oops
Cheers mate
He’s 6/4 from 4s. Just cash out for a profit x
Cash out is not available on this bet
Mclaren has got the job by sounds of it. Sorry :(
Unlucky.
Free money strikes again.
The real money would have been McLaren at 2/1 on Willy Hills whilst 1/5 on SkyBet. Oops
What a signing
Marco Silva to take over at benfica 😏😏😏
#selfexclusion
Atleti @ 4/1. Celta really should have buried Barca lto.
Atalanta & BTTS @ 15/4.
I'm sick of the lack of depth in Asian lines fucking me over. Today I wanted Sheff Utd -1.5, but ended up doing Sheff & over 3.5 match goals. Are there any bookies that offer decent lines for outsiders?
You want Pinny lines.
https://www.pinnacle.com/en/soccer/matchups/highlights
PSG @ 2.00 to beat Atalanta is the easiest money I've ever see.
They'll even clear the - 1
Also 20 on the Angels to win the WS @ 50.00 Othani, Trout and Rendon
Whatever price you can find on Bryson DeChambeau for the PGA Championship starting on Thursday, it will be value.
This one? 17s available in places.
I have 18.5 on Betfair.
Reasoning is quite simple, it's a course which really favours bombers and over lockdown he has become the biggest bomber on Tour. I don't understand, with his length off the tee and general form in the last six to eight weeks, why he's only 5th favourite. I mean, I think the guy's a total prat and I'd love him to lose but it's a no brainer.
How deep is this train going?
You know I'm not a melt and I don't follow this shit but I've been chatting about this guy to whoever will listen ever since I read that BBC article of Montgomerie saying they need to introduce a new ball because of him.
Are bookies open now cause I don't have access to my online account for another 2 weeks?
£10 E/W (down to 13 sadly on Betfair though), Choo Choo.
On it as well. All aboard.
Got £5 ew at skybet was 14
Would advise each way btw, as with all golf bets, but I am balls deep on the nose.
Golf trains are not like three horse race football trains. They stop at many stations.
If the beast places, we'll have got to our destination via a 5 hour bus replacement service sat next to a stinking ethnic. No one wants that kind of arrival.
Is the "stinking ethnic" a woman at least?
Ticket secured. Sunday scenes here we come.
What time is it kicking off? I'm not going to tune in obvs, I'm not a dickhead, but I'll see if I can get down to the bookies tomorrow in time.
Off is 3pm tomorrow, but he isn't off until nearly 10pm so the same odds will probably apply unless someone good shoots 62 early doors in which case it'll be longer.
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/20...r-greg-roskopf
Talked about like some machine, it really is fascinating.
His tee off time is at 9:47pm.
I upped my bet earlier to £30 E/W.
I tweaked my knee yesterday during football and have now iced it ready for tomorrow's heatwave antics so I've missed the stop and am now refreshing national rail hoping you all perish.
The wind is up this afternoon and Brooks is -4 so could be a short delay to the running of this service. If there isn't, though...

Tidy par on the second too.
His driver just fell to pieces :\
OK so we're on hole 7 and he's just snapped his driver in half, they're currently showing a series of slow motion replays to determine whether or not it was done 'in anger'.
What a train this is.
Last couple of holes have been a real shitter.
Hoping for -3 or better.
Edit: Ends his round on -2, which isn't too bad considering how much the wind picked up. Real shame as he was playing some nice stuff and would have finished on -5 or better had it not.
Our boy is now -3.
Can confirm I am also ON THE TRAIN.
Unfortunately his shirt is a two stroke penalty but even given that he's doing alright.
Now -4.
Southport's finest running a muck.
It seems as if he's trying to impose that two stroke penalty on himself :moop:
Bogey at the last. :moop:
-2, not great but he was playing pretty poorly from what I saw.
Needs a strong day 3 tomorrow and could do with people like Jason Day not putting his foot down.
If Jason Day tries to put his foot down, his back will spasm. Brooks is the danger man. And Mike Lorenzo-Vera, obvs.
Unless I'm misundertanding he is 35/1 on Sky now, is the dream dead?
Needs to go low today. He's gone about it in the way expected but made a couple too many mistakes today.
I'm taking Cam Champ's elevated position (he's like a shit version of Bryson) as validation for the train regardless.
100 foot putt at the 18th to go to -6.
The train is on course right now.
Phenomenal.
This start has been something.
Squeaky bum time Jim.
Dustin Johnson with another classic choke job please.
This is too close for comfort.
This leaderboard is bottlejob central. Imagine they will all choke simultaneously and someone will fall over the line.
That was his first shocking shot.
Back to back bogeys since you posted, Manc.
Fucking nonce.
:(
He's done this in every round so far. He's started really well in the first 9 then has a wobble before rescuing a couple of shots.
Lovely recovery after a terrible tee-shot though. The hope is back.
How he got a birdie after that tee shot I do not know -9 and IN THE HUNT.
Looks highly unlikely after that tee shot from Morikawa on the 16th. He's been brilliant today.
Edit: The tee shot was very similar to Dechambeau's on the same hole but Morikawa's bounced right with Bryson's bouncing left.
Surely the Inter, Wolves, United & Shaktar four fold is the obvious bet this week or am I missing something?
Very successful train. Well done JF.
Ive woke up £9 better off
:hat:
A cool £7 profit.
He missed a few opportunities, but credit to Morikawa who was awesome.
£42 profit for me. The train broke down but a replacement bus service got us there.
Dechambeau hurt himself on day 2, far too many mistakes.
What bets and with which bookies did people return a profit, because £5 EW at 35/1 returned £9.75 on Sky Bet :moop:
Either you've fucked something there or they have.
£5 E/W would be £10 total stake and at 35/1 you'd have gotten back £40 total (£30 profit).
I was on it for £30 E/W at 13.
I assume they divided the payout because of the amount of players placing?
https://m.skybet.com/lp/dead-heats-in-golf
It didn't happen on Betfair (I don't know if they usually do) because they offered 10 places at the start of the tournament.
I am complaining to see what happens, I will pull the 'I'm closing my account' card if they claim it's right.
They will have dead heat rules if they were offering a stingy number of places. This was a five way tie for 4th, so if they were only offering a place down to 5th (say) then it would be 40% of the normal payout.
Still seems a touch low though if the odds were 35/1.
https://www.aceodds.com/bet-calculator/each-way.html
£5 E/W at 35/1 with 5 places offered with Dechambeau being one of five placing 4th should have yielded a total return of £16.
https://i.imgur.com/1vT8NMa.png
Edit: I can get it to £9.75 total if they were offering 1/4 place odds and you had actually bet £2.50 E/W.
I bet in play so it appears the E/W terms were offered at 1/4 on the first 4. Putting it in that site £9.75 is the correct return :moop:
PSG at evens is just free money
Is it? Famed bottlers PSG who've barely played in months being pressed by fit and (I think?) in form Atalanta in a one-off game seems like a recipe for them getting lolled out of the competition to me.
I will concede that may just be wishful thinking on my part.
Yeah, I've not watched any of this Atalanta side and their CL results haven't been incredible but fuck backing those French waster.
But my mortgage hold-up has been a blessing in disguise as I'll be sticking the current mortgage on Bayern at almost evens on Froday and the B2L deposit on -1. -2 will just be whatever further loans I can ssecure by then.
PSG have drawn 4 and lost 2 of their 6 games against Italian sides too.
Sky offering me 16/1 for no free kicks in the first 10 minutes of the Atlanta PSG game. Worth a go, right?
Not with Neymar on the pitch.
I've decided to back Atalanta and goals. From what I've read they're incredible moving forward, so ten minutes of intense pressure and PSG will be bricking it.
Has there ever been a game of professional football where there hasn't been a freekick, not a foul, a freekick for any reason, in the first 10 minutes?
Perhaps stupidly, I've joined Taz in lumping on Bayern asians.
Shall we talk which airbnb and brasses we booking? Dates-wise I'm all good for the rest of the month.
https://i.imgur.com/2CTkYMr.png
That's what I went on.
I was so close to putting some on -2 as well but bottled it :(
What a womping.
Going on overs (3.5 and 4) as well as Memphis to score tonight.
We're due a penalty shootout so 10 on each team @ 28.00 and 22.00
Also 5 on Lyon ET win @ 40.00
It's a PSG bottler rollover. Gone big on Leipzig. The bottlers surely can't do it again?
Yeah, fancied Leipzig but not enough for a train so got tempted by O5.5's bigger odds.
10 on KR to beat Celtic @ 29.00
Edit: That was a fun 20 seconds
I’ve started betting on baseball and basketball. Fairly successfully so far.
It’s a guy on Twitter’s tips, who claims it’s not luck it’s science. Worth jumping on @stockbet1 before he starts charging.
I don't know if this is a train but I'm strapped in too.
Brooklyn +11 didn't come in so he's a wanker.
The evens is a train but it's on the slow line so I've chanced my luck on the Bayern and O5.5 at 8.5 with my off-peak ticket and hope ticket inspectors aren't active.
I've got overs 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 covered.
Plus a Lewandowski header.
I've locked myself in the toilet and they're announcing on the tannoy they're not going to move from Watford Junction until I come out.
The slow line service is 5 mins from arriving into destination.
Golf picks this week
BMW: Thomas, Scheffler (extreme value), Cantlay
UK Belfry thing: Schwab, Wiesberger, Hill
I'm in on the BMW picks.
Lovely stuff. If you had to pick one?
To win? Thomas, but that's reflected in his odds. Value wise, Scheffler.
Don't put anything on Ortiz.
Do it Pleb.
Mexican golfers are the future.
Honest Abe is half decent on an accessible course, but Ortiz is a dope.
Double bogeys all over the shop. I'm sitting on my money for now.
It's set up so hard that unless someone takes the piss, you won't know anything until Saturday earliest. It's more about avoiding a 76 or something which puts you out of contention.
I thought about Big Tony for this - golf's biggest bottle job - but reckon he's got a few more bottle jobs in him. When he finally wins, though, I want to be on him.
Me picking someone at 40/1 is not a train. Rest assured when the locomotive action is afoot, you will be the first to know.
Cantlay is on it.
Rory McMidlifecrisis tied for the lead on a tough setup, Hideki one back even though he hasn't made a putt since Iwo Jima. Not sure what to make of this. Really doubt Cantlay will win but I'll keep the ticket in there just in case.
Plus 7 on Scheffler :D
Incredible.
Thiago to join Juve @33
Purely because he is the closest player type to Pirlo and Pirlo is now in charge.
There is that Italian kid at Brescia who has been hyped who could sabotage everything but its worth a go.
I presume you mean FM20 meme/legend Sandro Tonali.
Just remember they have also swapped Pjanic for Arthur
Absolutely no clue on the golf this week (Tour Championship final) as it's a silly tournament with an absurd scoring system, and the front runners have zero value. I think Big Tony will do well but this isn't the week to be on him starting eight shots behind.
If you could tempt me into anything it would be Morikawa (or at the odds, maybe Harris English) but I think I'm lying fallow.
What kind of fucking newgen name generator bullshit is Harris English?
The American golfer name generator never disappoints. On the tour currently we have:
Maverick McNealy
Doc Redman (always good to have a medical man on site)
Beau Hossler
Bo Hoag
Hudson Swafford
Briny Baird
D.A. Points
Hank Lebioda
J.J. Spaun
Just came 2nd out of 461 in a $7.50 buy-in poker tournament. $297.06
My opponent hit his 22% out to beat me when I was all in at the end, which was a bit gutting, but I didn't get a single piece of bad luck in the previous couple of hours so I can't really complain. To quote the dorks on the nugget bridge just north of Cerulean city, I did my best, I have no regrets.

It’s already in the savings.
Marseille @ 4/1 is lovely value. Get it in your acca.
What made you so sure PSG would lose?
Hope you got on 20+ booking points :D
Joakim has done us a beauty there. Not getting anything in the US where HV3's 13 under par looks to be coming up about 10 short in a stupid birdie fest.
US Open next week so I will be back after some hard research.
I skipped the golf picks this week :(
Hopefully the US Open is big.
My mate does very well gambling, throws me the odd horse tip. Last one he had won and from the same source he has told me: Bumble beee 4.40 & Aidens reward 6.20. Both Wolverhampton.
I’d trust Hollie Doyle on anything at an all weather race track and the second horse has already been punted from 11/1 to 9/2. Choo choo
Cheers Lofty. Bumble Bee comfortable.
Hollie Doyle from the front on all weather is something else. I put £20 on the double at 13.5/1. Papped out of doing singles
NR. Refused.
Better than the fucker doing it after it was in the stall to be fair.
My US Open picks thrown into slight chaos by the Covid withdrawal of Scottie Scheffler, who was going to be a real massive value selection. However, we will go, each way in all cases, with this squadron:
Rory McIlroy 14/1. Of the six big favourites, I think this is where the value is. DJ at 7/1 is the form player but that is so short for a major championship, especially a US Open. Jon Rahm is going to win one soon but again, 8/1 doesn't tempt me. Barry McMinge has been toiling for a fifth major for some years now and hasn't had a great summer, but looked better at the recent Tour Championship and a three week old baby might just free up his mind - there are well known stats about new fathers being weirdly likely to win on tour.
Daniel Berger 25/1. This guy has done nothing but good things all year and his game is only going in one direction, which is up, after languishing in 2019. He's a good all round player and has been putting very well - I haven't backed him of late as I haven't trusted the resurgence fully, but after about 15 quality outings in a row, he's become hard to ignore.
Matthew Fitzpatrick 40/1. This guy is a tough competitor, and seems to excel in difficult conditions - exactly the qualities you need in a US Open. He won't be a prolific winner on easy courses but make life difficult for the bomb and gougers, as it will be this week, and it brings him right into play.
Rasmus Hojgaard 100/1. There's always a European wildcard who does well at this tournament and after considering former champ Martin Kaymer (80/1), I've gone with young Rasmus. He is the in-form player in Europe at the moment, and at just 19 has already won twice, including recently at the Belfry. The Americans won't know anything about him and nor will the market.
Corey Conners 150/1. He may not be a well known name, but I consider these odds to be outrageous. He has taken a huge step up statistically in 2020 from previous years, and although he has just the one tour victory and nothing of note in majors, I don't see why this course couldn't be where he comes good.
J.T. Poston 300/1. A true outsider, this is based on nothing except a wild statistical variance between what my cheat sheet has him at (120/1) and what the market has him at - the biggest such variance of any player in the field.
I have ignored lots of potential winners, some real big dogs and top players - what I'm really going for in a market that pays out 10 places with my bookie (Coral) is each way value.
Fiver E/W on Rasmus Hojgaard. If he doesn't make the cut I'll send you my invoice.
All aboard Jim's long shot picks, choo choo
Train is ON.
I’ll do a quid on each if my horses win today.
I made a whopping £9 profit on one of Lofty's horses above so I've put a couple of quid each way on Berger. Choo choo, etc.
Btw, every one of those will have better odds on a Betfair outright market or similar, those prices are depressed as it's a 10 place each way market I'm using.
Thoughts on Fleetwood?
Great town, top infrastructure GAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHHAHA
No but seriously, as with all these, team news has to be waited for but Bournemouth look tasty if they go in strong assuming Palace will probably play a heavily weakened side.
Just to point out Jim Skybet is paying 11 places E/W until tee off and has some of those higher than your listed odds, if you want to double dip.
28/1 is too short for me - has a good game for this (and for everything, tbh) but has had a slightly weird schedule of late, flying to and fro, and playing the Portugal Masters last week which is about as far away from US Open conditions as you can get.
Matt Fitz for top Englishman is probably decent value on those side markets you get. Hatton, Rose, Casey all bumping his price up along with Tommy Lad.
I've gone for Berger, Rasmus and Corey.
Was also going to get on Fitzpatrick but his odds on Betfair have come in.
Paddy Power doing free £5 for existing customers, on the Chelsea Liverpool game on Sunday. https://promos.paddypower.com/promot...e=fbcheliv2009
It won't be him this time. +7 in round 1.
£5 ew tickle on Fleetwood.
On any great voyage there will be violent deaths along the way. RIP young Rasmus, you will be missed.
Early signs for utter carnage today, the team are coming back into it.
Berger is on it.
Anyone who gets in at +1 or better today will be bang in it. Maybe even +2. DJ looking slightly ominous after a shit start yesterday. JT also could run away with it if he plays like yesterday, but that's when those sweet, sweet places come into it.
RIP the Fitz, his body will be laid down next to Rasmus and we will honour the fallen.
Berger decided to get off it.
RIP Poston.
They showed him playing a one handed backwards shot from behind a tree earlier, this is the sort of player I love to back at 300/1.
Might have to exhume Fitzpatrick's corpse the way this scoring is going, cut going out like a tsunami tide.
https://www.golfchannel.com/news/jt-...eak-eye-injury
What a way to end a train.
It was worth it for this:
He also bounced it onto the green off a tree canopy 50 yards left of a par 3. All in all, £2 well spent. Sadly Conners absolutely shat the bed coming in with 4 dropped shots in the last 5 to miss the cut by one, leaving me with just two survivors.
Nice @10 vs PSG.
PSG have won one of their first three league games, scoring once. Nice has two wins.
Edit: 10 minutes gone and it's 0-0. However, Mbappe has picked up the ball in the Nice box three times, gone past a man and got a shot off. Only for it to be blocked. He is looking ferocious
LOST. PSG are 3-0 up after 80 minutes
Liverpool humiliating Chelsea is the bet of the day.
What was our man Bryson's odds?
He went off about 7th fav at 20/1 or so, iirc. Having been all in on him at the PGA I am a bit pissed off I didn't foresee him cockbombing this course into submission, but then I don't think anyone did - it's a transformative moment for the sport.
The theory goes that with tough greens and high rough, accuracy is a premium - but Bryson has just shown that that's not true at all and if you roid up and hit it 30 yards past everyone then you will prevail regardless of accuracy. It's likely to lead to some rule changes, largely because he's a massive tool and no one wants to see him win 10 majors.
Not the golf thread, but as this seems to have become it, surely his body won't be able to hold up to the forces he puts through it hacking balls out of the rough. He was turning himself inside out. The best bit is the running commentary he offers. Must drive everyone around him insane.
If I tip him 100 times at that price and he never comes in, then you can have your money back.
I actually made a wholly undeserved 47% of my outlay back on Rory's mincing tie for 8th, which I will be reinvesting in the Irish Open and the ever prestigious Corales Puntacana later in the week.
Rory recovered my outlay but I think that was the golfing equivalent of the Grand National at times.
Corales Puntacana

Bournemouth at almost 9 to beat City on Thursday. The comments and their available players suggest a Liverpool-Villa type possibility.
6 now on Bet365, the bastids.
We need to keep our ears to the ground in coming weeks for COVID outbreaks and react quick. Spurs and Salzurg would have been tasty in the coming days and it's bound to keep happening.
Bookies getting absolutely creamed tonight, the prem 5-fold without Chelsea would have paid out 15/1. Jahanbakksh FGS would have paid 7/1. Thank Potter's idiocy.
Sanderson Farms
Scheffler 9/1
Garcia 45/1
Vegas 80/1
Wise 125/1
Scottish Open
Van Rooyen 28/1
Bezuidenhout 33/1
Waring 60/1
Norris 90/1
All e/w
Game already started. But, Hue-Binh Phuoc. Get on the draw.
Very tempted by Galatasaray tonight @ 4.00 to beat Rangers
Rangers record in the EL under Gerrard is the only thing making me avoid it. They’ve beaten some really decent teams in the last year.
Wise and Garcia are looking alright thus far.
Sergio's underlying numbers are making me bullish. Scheffler will go mega-low one of the last two days as well, but I think he's too far back, might need 64-64 to win.
13/8 for Palace not to lose.
Them but primarily Leeds' prices
Palace, Brighton & Leeds @ 230/1. Woof.
I've stuck £5 on Leeds and £5 on Over 4.5/BTTS.
Leeds is nice but goals galore seems a safer bet. O5.5. On Burnley too obvs.
Van Rooyen sat in third.
My thing pays seven places, think he might squeak that, absolutely no idea how, I had given up on those wankers after day 2.
I thought he had no chance when I looked at the leaderboard last night, what a hero.
I've got 8 places so there's a chance.
When he finished his round yesterday I think he was nine back. Then the weather got angry, they all came backwards but even then he was seven back this morning.
Finished 6th (top 8 due to ties so might have some dead heats applied for 6/7 place sites) which is sweet.
£8 profit on him.
If Garcia wins and Wise places we could be on for a biggie.
£9 on Spurs -4.
They've also given me less than I expected for Rooyen.
I've complained as Betfair are trying to claim that my returns for Van Rooyen are because of Dead Heat.
8 places, he finished in the top 8 regardless of ties you mooks.
Edit: They've given me the missing money.
Peter Malnati can fuck right off. Mon Sergio.
I'm more scared of Poston.
Wise has also gone off the boil.
Think 18 will be hard to get past. Might get a playoff, we'll see.
That shot from Sergio
If it goes to a playoff Malnati is gone.
Lounging around with his wife and child instead of hitting some balls. Doesn't have it.
He's absolutely nailed it on the 18th too.
Sergio
What a guy.
Cheers Jimmy, great weekend.
Those shots on 14 and 18 were absolute mustard. Gracias seńor.
Well played Jimmy, Sergio and Von Royen. Nice £110 off Sergio winning.
I am away and have questionable internet so you will have to take this week's golf selection bag in the form of a list of names, I haven't got odds to hand but there's a mix of short to long
Shriners
Hideki
Homa
Old Mother Hubbard
Kuchar (through gritted teeth)
PGA
Reed / Hatton (favs but still overpriced)
Green
Beef
Bezuidenhout
My bookie has taken down the Shriners market atm, presumably due to Big Tony having a pos covid test, should be up again later.
Betfair odds:
Hideki @ 19
Kuchar @ 81
Homa @ 201
Hubbard @ 201
Reed @ 12
Hatton @ 17
Bezuidenhout @ 41
Green @ 67
Beef (Andrew Johnston) @ 67
I've got £2 E/W on all except Reed and Hatton which I've taken £4 E/W.
The ones at Shriners are all too long, what is Bryson going off at?
8.5.
10 on Israel, Bosnia and Slovakia at 18.00
Not looking great across the pond but not too shabby in Wentworth with Hatton tied for the lead, Green just a shot behind the leaders and Beef two behind.
Any time Andrew Landry homes into view near of the top of the leaderboard is a sign that it's a total crapshoot. I nearly took HV3 though so a bit pissed off with that.
Hideki tugged a 4 foot birdie putt on #2, it's good to know where you stand with people sometimes. If anyone else was as bad at putting as he is I think they'd probably be playing cards instead of, say, being a world top 30 ranked golfer.
Fitzpatrick is taking the piss right now.
Edit: His 18th brought him back down to earth though.
Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.
That's it. That's the post.
I'm of a mind with you but reckon Donny might move the needle a bit before the day so am uninvolved as yet.
Plus at 2/5 (fuck you decimal nonces in here), there's little point unless you're happy to risk a massive wedge.
It's not like a Floyd Mayweather fight - there's still some doubt.
Mayweather was the best bet of all time. This is top five.
Trump will have something in his pocket for the last week or so, as with Clinton emails, and even if it doesn't move the result, it'll move the odds. If it's outside 1/10 on the Monday then yes, I'm on.
Good days for Hatton (although his approach shot on the 18th was a shitter, could have easily done an eagle after his tee shot) and Reed along with a decent day for Beef.
Could be on for a decent return tomorrow.
I don't trust anyone in the chasing pack, other than Reed, so pretty confident at this stage. Fitzpatrick exploding his guts all over the course today was a nice touch, I thought he could be a threat.
This Frenchie can fuck off.
Carrasco starting with no Mertens/Hazard is a shame, as is Gazza 2.0 likely getting 30 mins off the bench but I'm on, regardless.
Hatton and Reed
Having a winner's ale on that. Love Tyrrell, not the first time he's brought home the bacon.
Put a bit on Belgium after too. 3.1 was far too hefty.
When aftertimes go wrong.
Fucking disgusting maggot that he is.
Also had a little on De Bruyne and Rashford to each have a shot on target which came through.
Suck on that after-event, nonces.
For a bit of pre-eventing.
I've stuck some cash on Italy/Austria/Greece.
CJ Cup
Rahm 8/1
Matsuyama 22/1
Fowler 45/1 (I hate myself for this, but in the computer we trust)
Conners 100/1
Scottish Championship
Paratore 22/1
Senior 55/1
Aphibarnrat 60/1
Cockerill 100/1
Reitan 400/1
Fowler
Betfair only paying out 7 places this time round, they're trying to stop the computer.
It's a limited field no-cut event with only 78 starters, of whom about half a dozen are random Korean no-hopers that the sponsor tosses in there, so seven places at 1/5 (which I also have) is probably quite generous.
On the latest train. Mon Reitan.
Norway [or even -1]
Belgium
Czech
England
If team news not bad I'll have that and Mahow will hopefully stay the fuck away.
I only ever bet against England.
Scrap England after that starting XI and don't like presence of McGinn and Fraser much.
Norway -1 and Belgium -1 double.
Norway, Belgium, Czech treble.
I am on Norway, Belgium, Czech and Portugal though.
I officially blame Taz for that display from the Czech Republic.
https://i.imgur.com/WxodxZx.png
A proper FMing.
Please stick to golf or just posting your bets in good time, you fuck.
You misunderstand, I was all on backing Czechs until I saw the fat arsed and the stubby arsed sensations in the Scotland team.
Sincere apologies
This page has been far too dark for the TTH betting collective and animosity like this hasn't been seen since the days of 'Jeet.
We have to be better lads.
I'd personally like to offer my sincerest apologies to Taz.
Can confirm I am now on Biden and the stake is large.
Reitan had himself a very good day.
He is a 22 year old Norwegian kid with loads of talent, still outside 600 in the world rankings and hasn't done anything yet hence the odds but he's one of those whose numbers just scream at you off the page amongst all the journeyman chaff. I was on him at the Irish Open as well iirc but missed the cut by plenty there. If he has a good weekend this will be his last time at 400/1.
That triple bogey by Matsuyama (I'm not watching, what happened?) is a real shitter.
Looking at my first blank for about six weeks here. Hideki is like a drug, and I am an addict. The Fowler pick was a disgrace though, as is he.
If I'd known that Kokrak was an ambassador for MGM hotels (who own the course) and had visited 20 times whereas no one else has played it at all... it's what you know.
I watched a video on 'courtsiding' in tennis yesterday. Tell me, why aren't we doing it? Looked an absolute no brainer and it staggered me such a system exists.
Harder to do in covid times I imagine, but I'm pretty sure that Chinese high rollers do indeed have spotters living in shanty flats around the UK who are sent to League 1, 2 and Conference games to do exactly that.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvT_yIVI2Qw
This was the video I watched.
I can only assume that if it's still viable the bookies have just baked in the loss they make and it's still worthwhile from all the regular nutters betting on who wins which point.
Wasn't that James' job for a bit?
The accounts will get spotted and closed and that's after taking into account the costs and organisation it all requires.
Is it a no from the Iranian judge then?
That does seem like quite the deal breaker. There's something in the vid about him buying accounts from people, but no idea how you'd funnel all the money back to yourself without it being obvious they were all connected.
Definitely a one way ticket to restricted accounts and/or buying accounts. Bookies don't like winners.
Yeah even without underhand tactics they don't like winners. My mate has been consistently smashing bets for years now but has had to go more towards spread betting on corners via exchanges because his online accounts with big bookmakers were being limited to low stakes.
I've had a fun afternoon.
https://i.ibb.co/9V7119x/Screenshot-...150-Chrome.jpg
Why’d you pick those?
The one that lost was a tip on the racing post. The others I just picked myself from reading the form.
I'm on Steelriver in 18:00 at Wolverhampton as well. It's a longer shot though.
Morecambe and Bristol City getting you 6.44 for the double seems a bit mental. Don’t understand either teams odds whatsoever
Small stake fancies this week on the golf, none of the favourites are showing up as value apart from Schwab.
Zozo
Im 40/1
Kisner 80/1
Kuchar 100/1 (this is almost as dirty as last week's backing of Micky Growler)
Duncan 200/1
Italian Open
Schwab 22/1
Vincent 90/1
Heisele 100/1
Gagli 110/1
Reitan 250/1
The Computer doesn't fancy Tiger to make history?
There's a bit (a lot) of course form in Woodsy's favour, but against him is the fact he barely plays, is a knackered nearly 45 year old man, hasn't done anything this year, and the last of those wins was in 2011.
28/1 shows up as a bad investment. He's on my radar for the Masters but then so is everyone. And if I know Tigger's sense of theatre he will not be passing the (arbitrary, made up) record at the Zozo.
I've gone on PSG -2 today.
There's no chance we're not getting turned over.
Am I missing something with Biden still being as high as 1.57?
I've got him 49 votes up and that's being generous and giving Trump all the toss-up states of North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa and Georgia. DT needs all those plus at least two of Florida, Pennsylvania and Michigan before he thinks about winning - I just can't see how it's possible. But then the market clearly thinks it is perfectly possible as the layers are giving you over half your money if it does.
Political markets can be weird sometimes. I well remember getting a good few quid on Putin at 1.25 for the last Russian election.
Is this not what happened 4 years ago? And then he absolutely smashed it.
Alot of Trump voters don't want to admit they're Trump voters.
4 more years, baby.
The guy who saw the Clinton crash coming a week early is predicting a similar crash for Trump. It's not about the national polls, it's the local stuff.
If you dig deep into the numbers it doesn't really look like 2016 at all to me - I'm not going to pretend to know about American local factors in any depth, but Biden just has a starting cushion of a few percent more everywhere than Crooked Hillary ever had.
If he hadn't pretended a global pandemic was a personal attack on him and actually done some work for the first time in 70 years it would be very, very close imo.
I read that the predictions weren't that far off in 2016. Clinton lead in the battleground states by 4-5% compared to Trump which was within a standard deviation of error. Trump's chances to win were 30% (so not impossible just unlikely). They've changed the sampling since to include the under sampling of non-college educated white voters for this election. Biden's gains have been on former Trump voters and the 2018 undecideds have solidified away from Trump.
Biden is leading 8-10% so margin of error = x2 previously.
Roma's odds.
:harold:
What a shit way to break a club.
At least go a bit mental with it.
Thomas Pieters is the god-emperor of club snapping. Remember him javelin-ing the two halves into a gorse bush at the Open once.
Doing the £1000 drop thing on Paddy Power. On question 10 with £1000 left and pinging it all on btts in the Watford game. Not sure whether to just split the next 2 questions if it wins and guarantee myself £250 or go all out. Reading to win is a question for the 3Pm games which looks a near enough cert.
3:15 Lock’s Corner 16/1
Nice tip, Baz.
Yeah, had 2 quid each way on it. Had 3 on I'd Better Go Now as well though which was shit.
Where'd you get the tip?
Heisele with a big day.
Reitan is still in the mix too.
Kris still lacking a bit of know-how but he is blitzing his odds every week, I think I will stay on him until he makes it (or as long as the computer still likes him).
There are some chumps at the top - Ross McGowan looks like Steve Pemberton playing a divorced dad - so I have some hope for Heisele.
In a straight choice between Reading winning at home against Rotherham and Fulham scoring against Woy's All Out Defence Palace side you went with Fulham?
Edit, Lordy!
:D
Unreal. I might just split the last for £500 as I can’t take these last minute goals anymore
Why are you still gambling?
It’s free on their website lol
Reitan's hit a a 7 under to leave him on -17.
Could well get a place on him.
With the way Canter, McGowan, Heisele and Burmeister have played the last couple he might even be in with a chance of winning it.
No chance of winning it, and I suspect knife edge on placing, but the boy chucking in a Sunday 65 is
Canter is shitting the bed.
Think Kris is just going to place, even if it's slightly split. Champagne orgy at mine tonight.
If my calculations are right that's 115 back for me with hopefully some more in America to follow.
Edit: Calculations were correct. Mon Im, Kisner, Kuchar and Duncan.
5 profitable weeks in the last 6, probably my best ever run which funnily enough coincides with starting to use hard statistics instead of my gut.
-16 for Kisner which probably wont be enough for a place.
Ouch.
That lot were long gone yesterday, this place is a birdie fest so you can't really come from behind. Still more than doubled my money off the two legends in Europe.
As a betting neutral this is however a great watch as Rahm and JT duel to the finish.
Bermuda
Varner III 22/1
Homa 70/1
Dufner 80/1
Baker 100/1
V.Taylor 125/1
Cyprus
Green 33/1
Hebert 40/1
Waring 40/1
Samooja 70/1
All E/W
The bookies have latched onto Reitan now (:() but if you want a long one for Cyprus, try Cormac Sharvin 300/1.
Samooja only at 56 on Betfair for some reason, still worth it at that price?
Reitan is at 81 over there which doesn't seem too bad.
Reitan is 100/1 at my bookie. I don't rate him at that price though, other than maybe as a heart bet as I've become a little attached to the young pup. I wouldn't take Samooja at 56.
Probably no liquidity on Betfair.
Put the Samooja money on Sami Valimaki after some research yesterday (and to keep the Finnish vibes) and he's done fairly well today.
Not the best start for the other picks but hopefully they'll have a cracking second day tomorrow.
Valimaki was on my longlist but didn't like the odds at 28/1. Quality young player especially with driver in hand.
Gavin Green can go fuck himself, the rest are alive.
Taylor with a great round over in Bermuda.
There's a lot to unpack.
Literally, I fear, in a large suitcase in the corner dating back to when the missus chucked him out.
A 64 from the Frenchie
Varner going 9 over for the day ffs.
Edit: A lot of big scores in round 2 from the early lot. Weather must be atrocious.
BBC weather for Bermuda says 20mph+ winds for the rest of the tournament, absolute sweepstakes. The one trick pony fair weather Americans will plummet down the leaderboard and some old sea dog with zero form will win. I'm looking at the leaderboard and bearing in mind my obsessive personality means I know every fucking golfer under the sun, 'Eric Dugas' at -6 is news to me.
HV3 is close to going on my timeform squiggle list along with Finau and Honest Abe Ancer. Great technical golfer with amazing underlying stats, but any time he comes across any sort of adversity his arse starts twitching.
https://www.cbssports.com/golf/playe...229/eric-dugas
It seems this is only his third event outside of Hawaii.
He's a PGA club pro in Hawaii, must have gone off about 8 billion to one. Doesn't even have a world ranking and they go down to 2,000.
I may have mentioned this before and it might be pure luck but I suspect statistically it is impossible: every payday, this being the fifth in a row I have managed it now, I put £10 on Sky Roulette spread across 6 numbers and I win on the first spin. Not sure if it is some gateway scheme but I am cheap so always cashout :D
I never knew the Finns loved Cyprus so much.
The French lad is a prick.
Samooja missed a straight five footer to lose the playoff. Fucking turnip. Still a place at 70/1 but fuck off.
I watched it, clearly the pressure got to him.
I wish Betfair hadn't tanked his odds as Valimaki only got a shared place after 3 bogeys in his back 9 :(
The number of times that happens in playoffs, missing diddlers when the other bloke's in the hole, is ridiculous. It's what makes golf such a great sport, the live mental disintegration. Same thing happened to me earlier in the year with Morikawa from an even shorter distance when he lost to Berger at Colonial.
Oh well, probably another profitable week, we go again.
2.40 for Trump
:thbdn:
Houston Open
Hovland 20/1
Im 25/1
Van Rooyen 70/1
Burns 80/1
Ortiz 125/1
Burns is a MAGA warrior so he'll be fired up to give the libs hell, one way or the other.
Cyprus Showdown - this is on the same course as last week, but playing in a weird experimental format with 2 cuts and they reset the scores after each one.
Detry 22/1
Hebert 40/1
Armitage 40/1
Lombard 125/1
Could do with a profitable week this week to give me a bank to do my worst with a bit of side action next week at (dun dun dun) THE MASTERS.
£25.02 spread across the lot. Let’s go!
40 on the Liverpool/Real Madrid double
Want free money?
Quang Ninh v Hanoi
8th Nov.
Go on.
Which sites are covering it? 365 don't have it up yet.
Not on Sky or Ladbrokes.
Same bloke owning two clubs in the same league, absolutely no conflict of interests there. Excellent regulations.
It gets worse. He "owns" 5 in total, having been 6 last season. Hanoi, SHB Danang, Quang Nam and Quang Ninh and Hong Linh Ha Tinh. And a couple in V.League 2.
Your friend and mine, former top goal scorer in a calendar year contender, Vu Samson, was last season loaned from Hanoi to Quang Nam to help them avoid relegation despite being Hanoi's best player. It worked.
Odds for Vietnamese league 2 for tomorrow on 365 so odds may appear closer to Sunday. 1/8 incoming
Grayson Murray is STORMING Houston.
+13 after 13 holes.
Grayson Murray is the single biggest cunt in golf (in a seriously competitive field) and a massive Trump fan. I saw someone do a quality 'STOP THE COUNT' gag while posting a pic of his scorecard earlier.
He's getting pasted on Twitter.
Carlos Ortiz
Anyone found a market for Vietnamese footballing shenanigans yet?
https://www.oddsportal.com/soccer/vietnam/v-league-1/
Keep an eye on this, should be up by tomorrow. Might have to be quick with prices, sounds like the sort of thing that the market will know about.
Mahow, bro, fancy refreshing all day/night and texting me when it's up?
And me
The game isn't till Sunday evening (my time) - Sunday morning for you lot. Usually appears on betting sites within 24hrs of KO.
Detry (just) and Armitage into the final round of the Cyprus showdown.
Over in Houston Sam Burns is leading, Ortiz is in second and Hovland & Van Rooyen aren't too far behind. Hopefully they push on today.
Sunday could be a BIG day.
Houston is almost going too well, but Burns's underlying numbers are incredible. Not quite as convinced by Ortiz.
That scramble as to whether or not Detry would get in was mental. Bland left the last putt 1 inch short and that would have knocked him out. Hopefully they will set the course up far harder tomorrow and that will suit Detry and Armitage against some of the riff-raff that has made it through.
It looks like 365 are just ignoring the Hanoi game as it still isn't up but there's another Vietnamese game listed for 10am tomorrow.
Stay well clear. I can't remember a JA tip ever coming through.
I can't tell you how well Burns is statting up for this. If he had holed any putts he would be about seven clear. Ortiz has done the opposite, not hit the ball great but holed everything. Usually that holds up less well over 4 days but who knows. Chuffed with how they're going anyway. DJ will be a problem if he's arsed tomorrow. No one beyond DJ can win unless the top 5 all shit their guts (not impossible).
The only thing I'm not so enamoured with is my Masters position. I had a good team going until yesterday, then Joaquin Niemann dropped out with Covid and Day (who was going to make the side) has had his odds slashed to fuck with this performance today, so doubt I will take him now. 5 million word preview coming up Monday (I love this shit).
Betfair do have that market up now though, I think, 1/3 for Ha Noi (?) if free money is your game.
I’m on.
Hard to imagine there's much value at 4/11. Maybe if it's all square with half an hour to go and the home side's defence starts parting like the red sea.
Value or not, it’s been personally guaranteed by John Arne.
I'm going 7-0 to Hanoi.
Hanoi 1-0 up.
2-0 Hanoi.
4-0 Thanks mate.
Excellent tip shame I was stewing from last night's hangover and missed the pre KO odds :D
Never in doubt.
:hat:
Now to lose that little bonus backing City this afternoon.
Detry :moop:
I hope you missed Armitage going full Tin Cup on the 18th. Birdie would have got him to -5, instead he kept leathering balls out of bounds :D
Great to see Bob get the win, lovely golfer.
Jesus. Thankfully I stuck it on just after that.
At least the eagle there takes a non-dead heat placing.
I'd like to state that I do no like "DJ".
Ortiz with a HUGE putt there
Lad, I swear there's a golf thread, don't pollute me like this.
Is it just me, Jimmy and Mahow on this train? Big money on the line.
Hopefully Burns can pull away a bit to comfortably place too.
Baz has money on too.
Ortiz is looking really good but DJ is a cunt that can make things happen.
Hovland isn't too far off the placings too although I can't see him getting there.
The joys of unemployment.
I could live with losing to DJ as he's a bit of an alien, but if Hideki takes this I might cry.
At least should have the each way part in now.
That is a glorious approach shot.
If Hideki and DJ could fuck off that would be nice.
A shame he missed the eagle putt by a bit but DJ missing that birdie helps.
Has anyone put double figures on this lad? Scenes if so.
I did £2 E/W on all of them.
£1 e/w plus 20p doubles across the two tournaments.
Potential Returns:
£41.70
I'm on for £304 if he does it.
Closes it out in style too.
Jimmy
First Mexican winner for 42 years, on the weekend Trump got kicked out of office. It was written in the stars.

Get the Twitter account created, Jim. Subscription service should see you part time within the year.
God bless you, Jimmy. Cheers.
I had £3.50 each way so it's been a good evening. I think Carlos is my second longest winner ever (Ashun Wu 300/1 at the China Open will never be beaten).
The Masters
Toggle Spoiler
I've gone £5 E/W on each. And then £3-£7 on the side pieces.
I wouldn't mind a Hatton win, I've started to really like him over the last couple of months.
Phenomenal.
Great write up. I enjoyed watching on Sunday so will probably tune in again this weekend at some point.
On the train.
On those!
I like the look of Hatton.
I’m on.
If Bryson wins it by ten I'll probably commit suicide, just fyi.
https://www.instagram.com/tv/CBSxnnv...ource=ig_embed
See how far you can make it in before spewing.
Sprinkling his PEDs on toast.
Few extras for pence from the silly markets
Top Korean: An 3/1
Top debutant: Van Rooyen 14/1
Top past champ: Reed 3/1
Top amateur: Augenstein 5/2
Top senior: Weir 14/1
Top Aussie: Smith 3/1
Top Englishman is a great market, but having backed Hatton and Fitz outright there's no way I can justify taking the oh so tempting Westwood 10/1 odds.
All aboard!
Thoughts on Finau? @Jimmy Floyd
Bottler.
My mate who is a tennis nonce is balls deep on this Forejtek kid to beat Gasquet today.
What time does the Masters tee off?
First man tees off 12 noon British time tomorrow.
I've just lobbed (wahey) £10 on him.
Is Gasquet still on the white?
The nonce wants locking up.
I should have been wary of him after he almost me talked out of a winning bet on the boxing last night, apologies gents.
£200 return if Hatton wins, £100 for Rahm. In the computer we trust.
I'm sure if The Computer knew Sandy would be rocking braces it would have been all over him.
Bryson is having a meltdown
He's exploring the 13th hole very well :harold:
Best take it to the Masters thread (wherever it is) so as not to antagonise Taz, but: lol.
How's Rahmbo doing?
Started like a twat, just got a birdie back to +1 but early days. Being drawn with that blubbery whale-clown can't help.
I put £2 ew on Hatton, Molinari, Speith, Fleetwood, Munoz and Fitzpatrick for the lols
Rahm.
He's woken right up.
The scenes when Tiger does it again
Tiger will shit himself over rounds 2 & 3.
Hatton just got fucked hard by a dickhead green.
Looked like a beautiful shot with a chance to eagle and then it just rolled back into the water.
Tbf that's an established miss at 15, you can't be short (or long) of the right pin. Might have stuck up there yesterday in the sodden conditions.
This leaderboard is mental, pretty much every top player going well except McMuff who has checked out (he was a favourite of the big name tipsters this week for reasons that really do elude me).
Null and void his bet as top debutant?
Probably not, as someone else will win it.
DJ is so short now. Sub 3/1. I'm not sure. I'm not sure you can stroll away with this like he does playoff events and WGCs. I might make a small investment in Bryson at the higher odds he now has.
Is Hatton finished?
Cut I think will be -1 so anything in the 60s would get him through that, winning looks a long way away though.
Blacklisted.
Anyone see what odds Belgium were pre-match? Mortgage-maker stuff if above evens.
Still time for Mason and Tammy to turn it around :happycry:
A shame that Augenstein and Mike Weir shat the bed on the final day otherwise it would have been a good weekend.
Augusta is a really wild ride.
Any of the golf ones still on?
Rahm placed at the end.
Any Celeb betting @Yevrah?
I'd fancy Vernon Kay to take the most stars in a trial as a dark horse, he used to play UK Gridiron after all.
That was a bloody hard one to call. DJ was just too short at 8/1 or whatever he was. Rahm saved the day, he played utter toss for about 60% of it and still placed. Bit annoyed I didn't get Smith e/w given I did back him for top Aussie but then he wasn't in consideration for outright. The ones I got rid of from my longlist were Muńoz 100/1 (glad as that would have been a heartbreaker), Westwood, Spieth and Lowry, so I didn't toss anything big away. That said, I am pretty happy that my philosophy as outlined in the preview post was pretty sound, I just didn't get the right players.
The hard thing about Augusta is that it's usually quite easy to dismiss about two thirds of the field (much more so than for a normal tournament), but at the same time form tends to go out the window so among those who are left it's a bit of a sweepstakes. Whichever geniuses were on Frittelli and CT Pan I would have liked to have seen their workings. CT Pan I would have given next to zero chance. Sungjae I have been on many times, including last week, but I thought his putting was too shit for Augusta. Then the other place players were just the obvious candidates at unattractive short odds.
Back to the happy place of shite tournaments. Only two left on the PGA this year but several on the Euro.
RSM
English 25/1
Dahmen 66/1
Streelman 90/1
Stuard 150/1
V.Taylor 200/1
Joburg
Bezuidenhout 12/1
Rozner 35/1
Brown 60/1
Lawrence 150/1
Ferguson 175/1
All E/W. Bez is a particular fancy even at that skinny price. He has to fly all the way from Augusta to Johannesburg to tee it up for this dogshit B-tier Euro event. He's the only player doing so, and let's just say it's not the sort of trip you'd make if you didn't have a carrot for doing so.
50p each way on each for a bit of interest, let's rerail this train.
Fuck me Russell Watson is on the outright list at 25/1.
Hopefully he gets in.
I went through my record last night (since August when I began using the computer). I've backed 79 golfers, with 3 winners, 11 places and 65 losers, for an overall return of 2.12 (if total stakes are 1). I would say that is an unusually good run, so don't expect anything else now until hell freezes over.
Thinks in America are going far too well right now.
English and Taylor (who I got at 301) are right up there and Dahmen & Stuard who looked like they'd miss the cut yesterday are marching up the leaderboard.
26 under between the five of them yesterday, and currently 8 over today. Absolute bunch of Gone With The Wind cunts at the top of the leaderboard, if Kisner wins I will have to firebomb his massive plantation house.
6 months of trying to do betting full-time alongside work but gonna have to bin it. Definitely getting harder each year.
@-james- how's your year been?
My worst yet, but I pretty much took March to August off. Had a couple of decent months since getting back into it but it is definitely getting tougher. I don't think the market is that much sharper, the main problem is getting on bets. Pre game limits and sing/sbo voids are worse than ever so I'm relying on bookie accounts, in-play situationals and the few leagues I feel confident I can beat kick off prices on.
The other thing is that fixtures are really terrible at the moment. Really missing things like minor international tournaments.
I should add though that I'm definitely fed up of it now.
I'm thinking of going all in after Christmas. I used to be in a private racing group so will join that again, start with a 100 point bank and hopefully turn some decent profit.
John Oster's in it. :D
That doesn't sound all bad, which is good. But sounds like most people are having a similar year then. Agree with the main issues being that it's harder to get on bets now - have you been using Drin? Their Skype broker has been good but has been out of action for weeks, which is the tip of the iceberg really. Unclear why but could be because being forced out of china / new regulations or something. Some are expecting that brokers will soon only take the most mainstream leagues pre-game (and still only on Matchday).
So yeah, getting on can be a pain. I've similarly been trying to make most of bookie accounts / shops.
My year was going really well up to end of August but lost about 75% of profit since then and mostly been constant losses. Still managing decent odds beat against asia closing line but variance refusing to change.
Will miss it though. ☹️
I think Sing have just realised they can do whatever they want in pre-game and brokers can no longer afford to absorb the voids. Live is better because there is apparently far more liquidity from locals. Maybe it's a covid thing, dunno, surely their turnover has gone to shit now with everyone avoiding them.
Can a professional gambler afford to have a bad year?
Depends if the convergence is diverging.
I'm still up for the year. I can't imagine the depression that would be involved with a losing year.
Leeds & Leicester @ 23/2. Great value.
Harris English is trying to win this.
I still have access to one of the big Asian agents who I placed Benham's bets with. If that sounds like it may be of value to you mandem give me a PM and I'll see if he's about and we can negotiate my cut.
English with a part place salvaging things somewhat. Streb winning is an absolute classic golf happening- hasn't done anything at all for almost five years, and there he is, bringing it home with balls of steel at about 4 billion to one. The three people in the world who backed him antepost will be doing lines off the ceiling tonight.
Only one tournament this week - Alfred Dunhill at Leopard Creek
Bezuidenhout 16/1
Jordan 35/1
Sterne 60/1
Pavon 100/1
Lawrence 200/1
Jerling 1000/1 (pennies on this, if you can find a top 20 market or something then do that instead)
The computer seems to be giving me a Frenchman a week at the moment, presumably on the wind up.
Thoughts on Zander Lombard?
I imagine the tipsters will all have him (haven't looked at them yet) due to course form and an ok week last week, but the computer isn't too impressed and wants 100/1 which is not available as far as I can see.
For a bit of context, Brandon Stone (2nd favourite with the bookies behind Bob Mac, past winner on this course, great form last week) is rated a miserable 13th in the computer's estimations. It really takes no prisoners.
Fascinating stuff. You should run a blog of some kind.
Do you really have some kind of computer system spitting these out, or is that just what you're calling your opinion for lols?
lol, when I used to use my opinion I'd win half as often if that. The computer reigns supreme.
EDIT: There is a bit of judgement involved in making the actual selections, but the base data I use basically tells me the 15% of players in a tournament that are OK or good value, and the 85% where the bookies are having you over. Obviously the players where the bookies are having you over often (usually, in fact) win, but that doesn't mean they were good value bets.
You get tournaments like the one we've just had at the RSM where you don't get much return - in this case, just a T6 for Harris English - but all five players made the cut and all tore up the course at various points, so you end the week pretty satisfied that the theory behind it was good.
I have faith in the computer.
Real Madrid 3.2 tonight.... that seems a little big.
Veerman @ 33/1
Fichardt @ 40/1
£100 return if either comes in.
What a nonce going against The Computer.
The computer doesn't hate those two, just not quite stand out enough to make the list. Veerman's been on a hot run but somewhat fear we might just be on the wrong side of it, but good luck.
It's quite astounding how much it hates Brandon Stone, who is getting tipped everywhere and now in to favourite in some quarters. Let's see who's closer.
It's one of the most nonsensical things I've ever seen. 1 billion matched on the market and genuinely a 1.00 shot going by Betfair's settlement rules.
Must be people getting their dollar out, surely?
So I shouldn’t bet £5k on it?
You should, it's the freest money you'll ever see. The only question mark is when you will receive your free money.
People greening up made sense up to a point, but he was 1.02 last night before about 40 million quid got matched to push it out to 1.08. Apparently there was some lol press conference about votes getting voided but it makes not a shred of difference.
I’ll leave it.
Bez
The Computer strikes again.
Nice one.
Some epic bottle job final rounds in there by the looks of things.
Crocker's 18th hole was a classic. One behind standing on the tee, hits a drive left, bounces off the roof of a moving buggy into the out of bounds. Then playing his 4th went long into the back water and ended up with an 8. Even then he still finished tied for second thanks to everyone else mulching it as well.
Three golf events this week (unusually) with selections below. Computer RoI is now up to +90.54% over the 95 selections since I began using this method (4 winners, 12 places, 79 losers).
Mayakoba
Henley 22/1
Reavie 50/1
Streelman 70/1
Hubbard 100/1
Duncan 125/1
Golf in Dubai (nb Weds start)
Pieters 16/1
Langasque 40/1
Smith 45/1
Hebert 70/1
Karlberg 175/1
Moller 200/1
There is also the South African Open but my dogshit bookmaker not offering odds yet, I may return later in the week for that.
Can't be long before your dogshit bookmaker stops accepting your business.
Reavie (@91) and Hubbard (@201) on Betfair :eyemouth:
They also have the South African odds and Bez has been hammered, he's only at 8's there. RIP sweet prince.
Bez doesn't need to win anymore (got his Masters place sorted which is why I was huge on him), will be avoiding. Also Betfair odds are higher because they are outright and not each way 7 places - unless that's sportsbook prices you're talking about in which case they're miles off. The overround is a joke on some. Valimaki in the Dubai event I have around 110/1 and he's being priced up at 28s.
They are sportsbook prices.
Valimaki seems to always be tipped by the Betfair tipster Matt Cooper.
https://betting.betfair.com/golf/gol...01120-721.html
He's gone for him again, however he's -37 points this season so he'll probably be asking for access to The Computer soon.
Mon the digital don.
I know it's golf and anyone could win, but I would seriously question his methods if he judges Valimaki to be a back at 25/1.
The key to reading tipsters is that if they have a good methodology (which I think I have, at the moment, before it either gets compromised or turns out to be a run of superb luck) they aren't going to give it to you, so they will dress their reasoning up in a load of spiel about grass types, wind patterns and course designers etc. That stuff is valid but is all so marginal, it's 80% about who is going to be best at hitting the golf shots that the course demands. The rest is down to putting luck, how the golfer feels when he wakes up in the morning, whether his ball lands behind a tree or just to the side, etc.
Jordan @ 33/1
Stone @ 16/1
Bland @ 33/1
I'd back Thomas for the Mayakoba, but 6/1 is sickening.
Thomas 6/1 is nonsense. I'm not sure why he's even playing there.
South Africa I'm on:
Schwab 16/1
Schaper 28/1 (serious talent albeit currently looks in need of a good bedtime story)
Farr 110/1
One final roll on Lawrence 150/1
Langasque pulled out?
Tested positive for Covid so will be a non-runner.
Take Lorenzo-Vera if you want a similarly priced (and similarly French) replacement, computer a huge fan of his work, and I'm a huge fan of his look.
VBA Finals.
Saigon Heat v Thanh Long Warriors.
TLW at 4... Which is way too big. Worth a cheeky punt. Nothing dodgy, though.
Marcelo's titans are above 5/1 up against Fat Frank's Brexit boys. Let me see you try and keep a clean sheet there, lad. They haven't fucking lost since us in September so we have the classic roulette strategy of forecasting a red after 15 blacks favouring us too, as if it wasn't clear to the astute footballing mind.
I would go the other way, towards an enormous Chelsea win. I've watched a lot of both teams and they are just going to leave far too much space for us. They might score two but we'll score seven.
The time to oppose us will be at Goodison when DCL bullies Thiago Silva to death.
You've struggled against expansive sides, namely cause your manager can't organise a defence beside putting bodies behind the ball. You can't do that against Leeds. And 2 Phillips-less games aside, they've been superior to everyone they've faced, they are not a 5/1 shot.
Werner is about to have half the pitch to run into against Leeds. Hat trick for him is a better price than Leeds 5/1
That's the only worry. I'm hoping be gets rested :baz:
It'll all come down to Frank's selection.
He’ll go full strength as the game midweek against the Russians is meaningless as no one in that group can change place. Havertz will run circles round the lonely Phillips if he starts.
Only thing that Jew can run circles round is a 16-wheeler.
I need Fat Frank to don old man Bielsa senseless as it is my pick in the final of my Last Man Standing for £200. Other guy picked Leicester so no doubt Chelsea shit the bed and Leicester suddenly turn their form around.
Got absolutely screwed by a horse that had had “a whisper from the yard” that was brought down at the first. 28/1
Win it back on an Allmankind/Altior/Native River treble
Nah gonna try and hold out until 27th December 14:55 (unless I get more info in-between) cos I’ll be going in big time on Locks Corner.
Hoping for another successful weekend of boredom betting.
Gone for a Calvin-Lewin hat-trick (void if not starting) and doubles across Everton and West Ham wins and with Asians -1.5. May lump on Everton depending on how they start as 1.9 seems generous.
Imagine backing three different Frenchmen for a golf tournament pre-off and a fourth one fucking wins.
MLV with the place though at 50/1.
MLV
It's nice to see that Lawrence shat the bed on day 1, recovered well on day 2 to make the cut before shitting over the ceiling and walls on day 3.
He is a bit of an annoying one, young player who ticks all the boxes to be in the top group of South African players (at least in these kind of events) but has probably shat the bed this month as a lot of them do when the European Tour comes to town and the stakes are so much higher.
Suspect that could be it for the weekend, Schwab has gone into total reverse ferret and over in Mexico my main man missed the cut (as did Rickie Fowler, who is now in serious jeopardy of not making the Masters and his career going into Spieth mode).
West Ham, Leeds & Montpellier @100/1.
Last one of the year.

Don't think there's much value down the field - this is a top heavy event, my bookie's only paying 5 places with the limited field, and the big dogs usually win. Hovland has a long trip to make and has just won but he's probably the class player in the field on current form - Morikawa's world ranking is a touch inflated as he has dropped off since the summer, and to my knowledge he has never played outside the United States. Im is also a Euro tour first timer but I don't get the impression he gives a fuck where he is as long as there's a golf course and a hotel room.
If you want someone longer, Hansen 70/1 and Janewattananond would be of mild interest.
On a side note, I think this is the first time in my long, long history of golf betting that I have ever backed Ian Poulter.
You fucking madman.
Love seeing your tips.
What of Hatton/Fitzpatrick?
If you can find 12/1 for Hatton that would be a good price. Fitzpatrick I'd want 18/1.
An odds-on accumulator of stuff I think is value this weekend. 8/1ish.

Queens Park at evens is ridiculous value on its own
It really is, should go off 4/6 or something.
Those 'system bet' days were the one. Grinding out 40 sub-1.1s for our riches
I'll get on blind without looking into it for the ride.
Paddy Power are doing a free £5 bet on the Manchester derby for anyone who’s previously deposited with them.
I was going to say name a more iconic duo than SvN and a system bet.
Correct scores are the most beautiful of all football bets. The mechanics of the odds movement on them during a game must form into one of those fractal images that mathematicians wank off to.
If you add up the probabilities on a Premier League correct score market, figure out what gets creamed off the top and then look up Denise Coates' net worth, everything starts to make sense.
I'm on the James train.
I couldn't get ES Auckland so I upgraded Queen's Park to home win to make it worth the ride. Let's have the theead kept updated with progress as it looks a ballache to follow.
On Leeds to make back the stake above. Not confident but why tf would you not want added reason to cheer those dons.
Bolivar’s basically in.
finished 5-0
More of that, please.
Also, possibly an omen, I did the 5 fold on the 7 picks, so I'm deffo winning. Hope all 7 come in, obviously.

Absolutely quality leaderboard for tomorrow's final golf of the year. Obviously would like Hovland to win having tipped him, but if any of the others manage to beat Fat Pat it would be class. Might in-play the fuck out of it if I wake up early enough.
Coleraine leaving it late with a 90+3 winner to make it 2-1 but that’s 4 out of 7 in.
Crusaders was another 5-0.
Queens Park drew 3-3 so the double chance safety net was needed.
Feels like the hard part is still to come with Blooming having drifted a bastard, but I think we're on a 1 in 3 shot from here.
Man Utd not to lose at 2.20 not a bit overpriced?
Feels pretty lotto pre-game but I'd be looking to be on City in play if anything.
I'm on goals - United will surely play for counter attacks and City will surely break them down.
Im probably basing it on regency bias between the two. I’ve fancied City every time but I’m sure Ole is unbeaten in the league against them and he always wins after he gets hounded out a bit
Auckland and Blooming :moop:
What a fucking car crash. Don't fucking waste my time with system accies spread across 3 days of twilight hours that I can't even ride ever again.
Yours was dead when you added Leeds. :cab:
He didn't add Leeds, he was on them as a single.
What Mahow said. Mine died with getting greedy with Queen's Park first.
Fitzpatrick doing me a solid.
Corinthians @ 3/1. Yes please.
Are we going to get a review of The Computer in 2020?
Computer end of year stats:
115 golfers backed
97 lost
14 placed (longest odds: Reitan 250/1)
4 winners (longest odds: Ortiz 125/1)
192.4pts staked
Final tally: +164.2pts (ROI +85.34%)
By tour
PGA tour: 43 golfers backed, 2 winners 2 places, 61pts staked, final tally +20pts (ROI +132.8%)
Euro tour: 61 golfers backed, 2 winners 10 places, 99.4pts staked, final tally +83.6pts (ROI +84.1%)
Majors: 11 golfers backed, 2 places, 32pts staked, final tally -0.4pts (ROI -1.2%)
I will start the clock again for 2021, will be interesting to see if it stays even remotely close to those levels or if this was just a lucky run.
85.34% is truly insane. Get a blog going.
Mind if I steal all your picks and use them to monetise a telegram group?
The Ortiz win and Reitan place

What a selection. All seem free money so some combo of them will pay big.
Last time Brighton played Fulham at 'The Cottage' they were 2-0 up at half time and somehow contrived to lose 4-2, so I wouldn't have that one marked in as a win, but then it'll probably come down to who gets the more ridiculous penalty awarded for or against them.
US Election market finally settled on Betfair. Biden available for 1.04 at the bell and never went below 1.02. Absolutely mental.
Over a billion pounds traded on the market post-election night. Betfair Christmas do is going to be a big one.
Hopefully it becomes all the rage, I'm itching to trade a Euro 2004 market.
I didn't have it in me just in case.
£40 odd back from my bets on Biden and for him to win Georgia.

The absolute funniest thing ever.
I completely forgot I had about £90 tied up in that market, so that was an unexpected bonus.
Had a bit on City -1 :moop:
The Wolves/Draw double though
Today's BTTS accy on all the games at 20/1+ will recoup it alland then some.
You think Arsenal will score?
No tbf, that's just relying on law of averages.
So is Arteta at this point.
I'm on Southampton today so expect Arsenal to find some form from nowhere.
:moop:
A train is hurtling towards us tomorrow with the Asian CL final kicking off at 12:00.
Iranian giants Persepolis up against Korean somethings Ulsan.
The former scraped their way to the final but are now a team decimated by suspensions and absences with no firepower to threaten (missing 3 best players, CF, AM and CB).
The Koreans (JohnA or Jimmy can further expand) are on fire, relentlessly scoring and smashing their way to the final, beating Iniesta and Vermaelen's Vissel Kobe in the semis. Their top scorer is none other than Junior Negao (yes, that very one) who averages about 6 goals a game.

Just look at that and tell me you aren't gonna back him.
Last I looked a couple days ago Busan were at 2.3 on B365 and it's evens today. Expect them to KO at odds on but even though it's a final, get on the handicaps, the thrashing to nils, the whole lot. 12pm live on youtube. Merry Xmas.
Ulsan -1.0 3/1 £25
On over 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5. Mon.
I've just read some preview that says Busan's coach starts big games conservatively but I wouldn't worry because the author looks like this:
https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zh64cCe_T...531_092111.png
I'll introduce some jeopardy here by going the other way. Sounds like Persepolis name on the trophy to me. Qatari referee will help the Iranians.
It would have to be a proper shitfest 1-0 aet or pens victory, really can't see how they're going to score (Offie you may want to change your bets to favour Busan as a result) but I also have never watched any of this Busan side (but fear not for the form speaks for itself).
I'd be angry but I'm just glad the community can come together in a feast of gambling, like the degenerates we are.
Don't group us in with the Arabs, please, he says as he watches his domestic league filled with nepotism and corruption yielding XIs with an average age of 30+ and one of the lowest goals per game averages in the world :happycry:
Going down injured in your own half at 0-0 on 61 minutes is the sixth pillar of Islam and I'd say the Hajj is very definitely looking over its shoulder, too.
Why do you keep mentioning Busan?
Woah, there's a mindfuck.
Whose winning the Copa Liberatores this year Taz?
Choo choo.
Shit train so far. What happened to it being live on YouTube? I can't see anything.
No, looks like buffstreams it is. Missed most of the forst half and will only half watch second half. Looking alright for your overs.
I'm up a little.
Cheers Taz.
We'd all be up if we weren't greedy. As it is, dead train.

1.6+ still widely available on Barcelona DNB.
£30 on the draw @ 3.
How do bookies miss things like that?
Especially in leagues/countries that would be right up for that sort of stuff.
It won't be a draw.
Nobody hops on a train for evens. Either bring true insight or fuck off.
Are there odds for the first MP to be caught mixing with their family in a Tier 4 zone?
They are oblivious to this sort of thing. All they do is stick up opening prices generated by some algorithm (likely largely based on the respective teams' historical prices at kick-off), and let the market do the work for them.
Opening lines have very small limits, meaning that it only takes a relatively small amount of money to bump the price around. Anything a bookmaker gets wildly wrong does not cost them a lot to correct, and by the time the match starts you can assume that the odds are about right.
Bookmaking and pimping must be the two easiest rackets in human history.
I reckon Paddy Power's yearly expenditure sheet is about 1% odds compilation and 99% marketing grads/Jose Mourinho adverts.
Chuck a bit of customer profiling in there as well. Got to be absolutely sure that the only bets you lay are to addicts and weekend acca merchants.

Ended 0-0, cheers @-james-
Yeah, good shout.

14s elsewhere. EW or on the nose?
EW to avoid being disappointed with second, like when it was 28/1 recently.
James pulls through with the proper train. £121 profit from that (draw, draw-draw and 0-0). Legend.
On the Baz horse.
6/4 for West Ham not to lose tonight. They love a London Derby and Chelsea’s best player should be out injured. Only way I don’t see it as value is of Werner is played through the middle
I think you'll find Mason Mount is fighting fit.
Burnley is the train today. 2 midgets and a back 8 trying to do anything against a full-strength Burnley, do me a favour.
Fair play to Taz for the Burnley train today, even though I missed it. I'm going to follow Waff with West Ham to make up for it.
I doubted the train and as such refused to board :(
