Are we ever going to contemplate fiddling the settings or we keeping to this level?
If that shift that we survived a while back was historically significant enough and given it only made us utilise half our bank (at the time which would now be closer to 40% of our current bank), the question seems to be there as to whether we should up the risk and if so, when.
Historically significant might be overplaying things. It was just a pretty solid and rapid move in one direction, but it stopped and righted itself. There was actually a bigger move in the week before that the other way, which took longer to stop so could have been worse in wipe out terms [I think that was the move that indeed wiped out some of Baz's/the bot's clients' accounts]
I would certainly not be looking to tweak the settings just yet.
I'd leave the current settings until January minimum. New year, new hope and all that. We want to wait until people start talking like the markets will never recover, then go all in.
By my calcs it's turned my £300 into £350 in a matter of weeks, so my vote would be we leave it in for the long haul, on the same settings. On that run rate it'd be £1m in five years and after that the growth goes crazy.
