The problem with the Ligue 1 upgrade packs is that with all those TOTY cards the fodder left is pretty shit. The sensible move would be to open the Prem ones I feel, but fuck sensible.

As you were posting that I was coincidentally working out how many packs I can make from recycling alone. Excuse the rough Excel workings, but it's over 1,000 Premium Upgrade packs and over 1,000 2 Rare Gold Player Packs.

The above assumes no wastage and there are some rounding issues when you get down to cycle 9 and beyond, but if I can get through it all I'm going to be opening about 3,500 packs this weekend (last year was 2,250), which is 75m coins/£10k's/1.5m FP's worth.
Judging by how badly the Premium upgrade packs were paying out for streamers tonight and the fact that I'll never be able to top this many packs, I think this may well be the last time I try it.

Rough plan below, maybe subject to change, but it's coming together now:
Fri: Wait for the 12th man and start the opening at around 11pm UK time, hopefully avoiding the no doubt reduced odds of everyone opening packs at 6pm.
Fri-Sun: Hammer the icon player pick, only doing other SBC's that expire by then or those that fit the low end fodder I'll have.
Sun-Tue: Hammer all of the other SBC's.
Gives me just under 4 full days to get through them all. Decided on the Ligue 1 Premium Upgrade packs and the 2 Rare Golds (to maximise the number of Premium packs I can build and to help with fodder).
Ended up going 9-6 in the WL proper. Overall, that's a record of 15-9 (including the playoffs) with the Championship team. Not too bad and it was pretty enjoyable spanking some of the more meta teams with Wilson, Chong and Cavaleiro.
I knew team variety was pretty low right now, but I must have played about 6 or 7 French squads in a row, complete with the usual suspects of Kante, FB Benzema, UEL Fekir. Despite all these interesting cards from different leagues, they're generally still not good enough to force change to the meta.
Pleasingly, ended up with a red 84 Mitro for my WL efforts, along with some 82 LM shitter. Up to 110 packs for this weekend too, including some big ones. I don't expect a TOTY but I'd love some serious fodder for the various SBCs.

And 110 packs gives you a chance - I reckon 2 or 3 of us will pack one.
He's in for next week for sure. Wilson ended up scoring the majority of my goals, running in from CAM, so Mitrovic should be good to hold up the ball and let him make the runs in. I'm nearly at level 30 too, and that 87 rated CM from Preston looks like a very good choice for the midfield.
I played with Kante in a draft and even with this horrendous patch he’s the greatest player ever. He can play anywhere and he’d be your best player. If he had 4*4* I honestly think folk would play him up top :lol:
