Mr. Potato Head on team tea towel.
They still send warning on here?? :harold:
North Diarrhea are sending 10,000 cucks in to the meat grinder in Ukraine. :harold:
Death imminent.
It's time, spooky bois.
You may have missed the news of Israel launching a few more rockets at Iran.
Oh, Israel and Iran again. Ok.
How does all this realistically end? I’m not talking about the memes or lols, but how does this Middle East shit come to a conclusion? Because I can’t actually see a way back from how much hatred there is between everyone involved.
It will end with Mohammad bin Salman being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Up until then, who knows.
When do the UN (and the US I guess) step in on Israel? There was a period earlier in the year where they told Israel to wind their neck in and stopped shipping arms for a bit, but this month they're literally just blowing up residential blocks in Gaza, killing dozens of women and children in the process. Even Russia shows way more restraint than these lunatics.
After the election. No leader wants to fumble an international incident in the lead up to an election and it's ultimately less damaging to let poor brown people get blown to bits while occasionally saying "careful now (down with this sort of thing)" whilst also allowing you arms manufacturers to continue their weapon sales than it would be to take a clear (and potentially unpopular) position.
As for the UN. Well, this is just what they do, isn't it? All talk, no action.
I get that they're going for it before the election, but allowing brazen genocide to happen is insane, something which Israel's backers (including us) are now complicit in.
We're going to see some horrible blowback on this in the coming years, I reckon.
The main risk for the West is that it allows everyone else to whatabout their own various genocides. It'll take a lot to convince me that a weakened Israel will ever be in our interests.
It will take even more to convince me that allowing a genocide to take place, then accepting refugees from that country is in our interests.
With Russia in Ukraine and Israel in Gaza and Lebanon, this is basically carte blanche for any country to invade another and then to tell the UN to fuck off with their complaints.
There is a somewhat famous story in Vietnam when a journo asked a Vietnamese politician about the UN, he answered "We don't have such a high regard for the UN as you do.' ‘How so?’ ‘Because during the last 40 years we have been invaded by 4 of the 5 permanent members of the Security Council.’"

US lifts ban on Ukraine using ATACMS against Russia, official confirms
As we've been reporting, US media say President Biden has approved Ukraine's use of long-range missiles supplied by the US to strike Russia.
The BBC's US partner CBS News has this confirmation - A US official confirms the administration is lifting the ban on Ukraine using ATACMS for deep strikes into Russia.
It's baffling to me why the president doesn't change pretty much immediately upon the result of the election becoming clear.
Now, obviously I have no idea what's prompted this. Perhaps Trump has been involved in the decision, but it seems unlikely and I can't see any positives in a system that allows an outgoing government to salt the earth and poison the well on their way out.
We do it right. Votes in at 10pm, new prime minister putting his/her choice of breakfast cereals into the Downing Street cupboards by 10am.
That said, I imagine protocol would dictate that President-elect Donald J. Trump would get briefings on this sort of thing.
Wait, is this 'permission' only to the extent that they can target bits of Russia that they are currently occupying? :cab:
The original prohibition was pretty daft, but if that's the case then that takes the biscuit.
Sounds more like a deterrent, then.
Well, then. Deterrent successful.
I see the Germans are going rogue again. The first line of our foreign policy handbook should be never trust the fucking Germans.
What have they done?
The German chancellor called Putin the other night to try and urge peace talks, without consulting his allies. Putin responded by bombing Ukrainian energy. Allies are now seething at Berlin as the agreed strategy is to do everything related to Vlad on a united front.
Their Government has fallen apart so it was probably a last ditch attempt to do something "great" I guess. He always seemed a bit out of his depth at the top level I thought.
Obviously at this point the logical play is to sit tight and wait for Donald to sort it out. Indeed the G20 rhetoric today indicates that's the plan too.
I see we've pissed off the Chinese.
Once a simpering human rights lawyer, always a simpering human rights lawyer. Statesmanship is big boy stuff.
'Arnaud Betrand' seems a bit of a div though.
Apparently Ukraine have started using their new toys.
ICC want Nety arrested. Lol.
Well the reports of them targeting buildings full of women and kids is pretty widespread so it's pretty logical.
But Benny comes out and immediately screams antisemitism while Biden calls it outrageous, and now the ICC looks the bad guy. :cab:
Not to anyone paying attention (without an axe to grind). They've also done the same for some Hamas mad lad.
When you have cancer you don't target the cancerous cells. You annihilate everything.
Alright Adolf.
A disgusting comparison. Didn't know there would be a pogrom on TTH.
That is bang out of order Ben, other than calling for the genocide of the Jews, a penchant for taking odd positions on matters of low importance and a brain wasting disease, they have very little in common. I mean, Magic hates dogs.
I hate big dangerous dogs, yes. They're on my oven list.
Effectively they seem to be saying both sides have been cunts maybe everyone should start thinking like that. Regardless of your viewpoint on the whole situation in the Middle East what Hamas did last October was fucking disgusting. But, it doesn't give Israel the right to do what they have done for the past year or so either. Yet it seems impossible to have that viewpoint you either seem to have to be Team Arab or Team Jew and if you think there is even the slight amount of nuance and both sides have been absolute shitbags in this whole situation you get called racist by both of them.
Israel also knew what would happen in October and let it happen so they could do exactly this.
