I really don't get the Manning situation. People are saying "If he doesn't retire they'll have to cut him", so if that's the case, why did they not sign Brock ages ago?
Also you'd think if it was certain he isn't going to stay in Denver, he'd just hurry the fuck up and make his decision so he can try and find a new team.
Because Osweiler's agents will also have wanted to see a) what the Manning situation is if a decision came early and b) what his value in free agency is likely to be.
I'd expect/hope any deal we might come to with him to look big but be relatively light on guarantees.
I'm fairly convinced that Denver are just giving Manning the chance to pretend the decision is his own before cutting him. If it approaches the deadline and he's still pissing about Elway will pull the trigger.
There's no way the Broncos don't cut manning. I imagine it's just a bit of cat and mouse to see if the Broncos can find a trade if manning doesn't want to retire.
Supposedly to be announced tomorrow.
Yep, he's done.

Now to get Tebow back and we'll be good to go.
Thank fuck for that.
Dolphins are trying to make a trade for Byron Maxwell which is proper lol if they give up anything of significance. He's average but got a mega contract from the moronic Eagles after a good couple of years in the Legion of Boom. Actually, it's especially lol as the 'cornerback class' in the draft is supposed to be really strong.
RG3 has been officially cut and the Broncos have risked losing CJ Anderson. They've given him an original round designation tender, that means that if a team comes in with too high a contract that they're not prepared to match the offering team wont have to give up a single draft pick. They've placed a second round tender on Brandon Marshall which is a damn shame, I was hoping the Ravens might make a play for him.
In Ravens news we've resigned Shareece Wright who, after a shaky debut against the 49ers, was great for us last season and we've also re-signed long snapper Morgan Cox which is clearly the biggest news this season.
With Wright signed I'd imagine that we'll pick Ramsey if he is there at 6, if not we'll either trade down or take Ronnie Stanley. I just can't see us taking a pass rusher that early seeing as we always seem to identify great guys in the later rounds. Such as Za'Darius Smith last year, Jernigan the year before, Upshaw a couple of years before that, McPhee the year before that etc.
We're short(of quality) in the secondary so I'd hope we could take some corners, but Maxwell is on such a laughably high contract that we should really trade him away. Wouldn't mind if we got some kind of value out of him but it's time to build some depth in our pass defence.
Griffin surely ends up in Dallas.
Houston are crying out for any kind of semi-competent QB. See their play-off loss for confirmation.
Houston are, but RGIII is exactly the kind of player you could see Jerry Jones investing everything in. Supposedly he was in love with Johnny Manziel at some point, wasn't he? That said, he could just go out and get him, I suppose.
Emotional Peytons' retirement speech.

Dallas could do with taking a young QB, maybe even Manziel, and keep him under Romos wing for the next year or two. That said, all predictions thus far have them taking a DE at No.4. Maybe wait and see if Lynch drops into round 2 or take Cook.
EDIT: I've just noticed Ryan Fitzpatrick is going to hit free agency. Houston could do worse.
Yes, his son and Jason Garrett spent most of their time in the draft room telling Jerry to shut the fuck up as he was wanted to draft Manziel. I think he claimed that Manziel would have guaranteed the Cowboys relevance for the next decade or something equally as mental. He's still apparently mad that they draft Zack Martin instead who has been fucking immense on the line for Dallas.
Apparently the Raiders have a shitload of cap room dollars they need to spend so as not to fall foul of the bargain agreement. Tens of millions of dollars. Not a chance they don't do something lol with that.
My money's on $30m guaranteed to give Ryan Leaf his shot at redemption.
Fitzpatrick would be a better option than Griffin.
Bring back JaMarcus Russell. As a Nose Tackle / QB hybrid.
Fuck JaMarcus.
Jared Lorenzen has a ring having played backup under Eli:

320 pounds of awesomeness.
He had some really good numbers in college too if I remember right.
Looks like Houston are going to make a move for Brock.
I'd forgotten about Lorenzen. :D
Let Brock go and get him in!
Dolphins are getting Maxwell and Alonso apparently.
We're willing to let all of our RBs go too.
Demarco Murray to the Titans.
Can't wait to see what they do in the new season.
A better o-line with Mariota, Murray, Delanie Walker, Dorial Green Beckham and Kendall Wright.
That's looking quite tidy.
At least Murray shirts will be on sale...
I wonder who we'll take at #1 next year.
Word is that the Raiders are offering Osemele 'in excess of $10m a year'.
He'll be gone within the first couple of days of free agency officially opening :(
Megatron now.
Yep.
Also, Osemele has indeed gone to the Rainders.

Terms of the cannot be finalized until Wednesday, but NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports the contract is expected to be worth more than $11 million per year, according to a source informed of the deal.
That's top left guard money by a long way and the only O-Line people making more than him would be Cordy Glenn ($13.7m a year), Trent Williams ($13.2m), Tyron Smith ($12.2m) and possibly Joe Thomas ($11.5m) and Lane Johnson ($11.25m).
This probably means we'll make a play to keep Upshaw, more than likely wont cut Monroe and we'll be picking a lineman at number 6.
Stafford is going to have to learn to see his open receivers now then rather than having 3 people running free and still chucking it to a triple covered Calvin.
It was so frustrating when I went to the Wembley game and had Ebron in my Fantasy team. Almost every single play Ebron would get open and Stafford would ignore him and launch it down the field to Calvin and miss him by a mile. I can't believe there was a time people rated Stafford.
Alshon has been tagged, to the surprise of no one.
Malik Jackson signed for the Jags.
From the Superbowl to Jacksonville.
I hope he's getting paid a mountain of gold.
Well it was a great move for Julius Thomas.
JPP staying in New York.
Megatron :(
Would have been nice to see him go somewhere with one final shot at a ring.
Ravens have taken former Saint TE, Benjamin Watson.
Eagles sign Leodis McKelvin. Bills CB of the last 8 years.
Guess we needed a TE seeing as Boyle is suspended for 10 games (moron) and still no word on when Pitta will be back. Had a good year last season and he seems like a decent bloke.
We've also given Aiken a second round tender so it looks like he's staying too.
Oh and the Vikings have cut Mike Wallace, I wonder which stupid team will take a punt on him next.
So when Pitta is back they'll have him, Watson and Gillmore.... that's all 3 of them being avoided in Fantasy then.
Owen Daniels is free if they want to add another....
Super Mario has signed for the Dolphins.
6 years, $90M; $42M guaranteed is what the Jags are paying Malik Jackson.
I guess he did indeed get a mountain of gold.
JJ Watt was given a 6 year deal for $100m with $51m guaranteed so Malik isn't far off. The Jags run a 4-3 too so fuck knows why they're paying a 3-4 end that kind of money.
Big cap this year, players were always going to get overpaid.
