We have a tendency to just slate whoever goes for runs, it's not always the bowler's fault in T20. Jordan bowled more bad balls than both of them combined, and he took 4 for 28.
Again I think Morgan's captaincy of the spinners wasn't great. Should really have got them on earlier. Even when he does he seems to bowl them in an eight over block. Mix it up a bit don't let the batsmen get their eye in
I like chucking one on in the 7th over. A lot of teams do that. I would even burn Moeen in the powerplay if they have a left hander in. Was surprised we didn't do that against Gayle, who takes a while to get his eye in generally, but we are still, despite the exuberance, a very 'plans' based team.
Yeah it is still all a bit orthodox in the field despite the huge strides made with the bat. I like the idea of bowling Jordan overs 14, 16, 18, 20. Plunkett and Willey up front and get the spinners in early.
