Trevor Lawrence started a crowdfunding effort to help people being impacted by Coronavirus, and the NCAA quickly had it shut down because he's not allowed to use his position as an NCAA athlete to promote any sort of fundraising.
What pathetic shitcunts.
They really are bastards.
The NCAA are absolute tyrants.
They're claiming that they never shut it down and have given it the go ahead but it does sound very them.
Brockers deal with Baltimore has fallen through and he's re-signed with the Rams.
Apparently he failed his medical due to a high ankle sprain and wasn't willing to re-negotiate his contract.
Sucks as we let Michael Pierce go and traded Chris Wormley.
We've signed Derek Wolfe on a 1 year deal for $3m after Brockers fell through.
Not bad a bad signing, cheap due to all the injuries he's had though.
I really like Wolfe, I think that's a good signing. he'd longed been touted as one of the ones likely to go though along with Harris.
Aldon Smith, the amazing pass rusher who couldn't stop getting in trouble, is back.
He hasn't played since 2015 but the Cowboys have given him a 1 year contract.
There’s still a part of me that’s waiting for them to reveal that as an April Fools joke.
Only the shit franchises change jerseys anyway.
Hey. :(
:D
Texans have traded for Brandin Cooks. 2nd rounder and future 4th.
That'll sure keep them fans happy.
Texans ended up trading Hopkins and 17 spots in the second round for Brandin Cooks and David Johnson.
Wasn’t there talk last season of Cooks possibly having his career in jeopardy because of all his concussion issues? I know I definitely thought he should be considering it.
Great work as usual, Bill

Former All-Pro running back Chris Johnson has been linked to a murder-for-hire plot that resulted in the deaths of two men in 2016, TMZ Sports reported Thursday.
TMZ said Johnson hasn’t been charged but is suspected of paying “a noted Florida gang member” to kill two men whom he believed shot at him and a friend in 2015.
Dolphins need to throw a 1st toward Houston and try and get Deshaun outta there.
RIP the XFL.
CoVid killed it.
Car crash.
4 years, $64m for McCaffrey. Haven't seen how much of it is real yet but on paper he's the highest paid RB in the league now.
Ever apparently.
Make sense for him. They say they’re throwing him in there he’s bound to pick up an injury at some point.
If they regret the deal in two years time it’ll be the death blow for RB second contracts.
Von Miller has the virus.
At home rather than in the hospital so presumably the symptoms aren't too bad for him.
Draft is only a few days away  It's crazy every year, but I'm looking forward to all the extra chaos that will inevitably come with the virtual draft.
Did a three round mock if you can see it.
Fournette apparently on the trade block, so that's him, OJ Howard, Yannick Ngakoue & Joe Thuney, among others, who could be moved about on draft day.
Kenneth Murray, Patrick Queen and Gross-Matos are our main targets I think. If one of those aren't there for us I can see us trading down to pick up a sliding WR or edge rusher.
Jags released marquise lee.
Hurns, Robinson and lee all let go.
Think the top 3 picks in the draft are pretty locked in but just can’t see the giants not trading down.
The talk is that the Giants will take Isaiah Simmons or a tackle (likely Tristan Wirfs). I'm not sure the Giants would maximise Simmons, but there are going to be a few solid OT's at the top of round two whereas there's no other Isaiah Simmons in this class (I guess maybe Jeremy Chinn or Kyle Dugger if you want discount versions), so it does make some sense.
Seeing stories of the Falcons saying Kendall Sheffield can be a CB1 alongside stories of the Falcons being expected to be one of the most aggressive teams in the draft makes me think that they'll be trading up for CJ Henderson, assuming Okudah goes to Detroit of course. Can't see anyone in the top 6 trading out that far, and not sure they'd be able to strike a deal with Carolina, so it probably would have to be a trade with Arizona to get ahead of Jacksonville.
Interestingly you have us going for the same guy I do.
I think we'd like to get involved with the Ruggs III, Lamb or Jeudy debate, but that's may be too expensive for us. I have however seen Howie take us into pick #2 for a QB he liked and that worked out well.
I also think the Patriots will play smart. I can see them wanting to get either Hurts or Fromm. They'll need to be in R2 to do that though, so they'll likely move back in the 1st to try and pick up a 2nd and chuck one of their 3 x 3rd rounders back over.
Nah, they’ll just have Tua fall to them at 23 & he’ll never get hurt again.
The whole pandemic has really knocked me for six in terms of the NFL - I really haven't been keeping up to date with anything regarding the draft as it's weird to think of it still happening under all the circumstances. Need to catch up on all the predictions this week.
I did a mock where I tried to cause as much mayhem as possible.
Apparently they did a test run of the draft & there were technical problems at the very first pick. Should be great fun come Thursday.
No offense Dan but that's just very silly with Herbert going #1 overall.
NFL teams do very silly things all the time, especially when it comes to drafting QBs. Doing very silly things was kinda the whole point.
Oh ok let me rephrase
"What the fuck did you even get out of that that a monkey wouldn't have by just smashing his hands against the keyboard aimlessly?"
What the fuck do any of us get out of anything?
Insight. Knowledge. Experience. Enjoyment. Affection. Indignation. Kindness. Astonishment. Contempt. Disdain. Reflection. Devotion. Despair. Anxiety. Grief. Nostalgia. Satisfaction. Sympathy. Entrancement. Excitement.
I assume he got one of those out of it.
Thanks for clearing it up.
Check out my mock draft guY'sM:
#1. Shane Falco, QB, Ohio State
#2. Bobby Boucher, DE, South Central Louisiana State
#3. Willie Beamen, QB, Houston
#4. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU
#5. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
 it's happening, boys

Entry foetthirl
Took a flier on love dropping out the first round (I just can't see the pats taking him and struggling to find another team). Delpit to the saints seems a reach too but they've seen far too much of him being great to not take him if he's there (hopefully).
Wirfs to the cardinals would just be so fun. Ridiculously mobile qb protected by a freaky athletic tackle.
Gronkowski is back. To Tampa for a 7th rounder.
Apparently now it’s actually Gronkowski and a 7th for a 4th.
