Geezer in the office reckons Mbappe to Spurs is a done deal. We're trying to let him down lightly.
Do they not drug screen at your spot?
Anything you like so long as it doesn't stop you selling engine parts to a far-flung customer.
Fabinho linking back up with the Liverpool squad tomorrow. Sounds like his deal might be falling through.
First bid for Lavia is also in. £37m and rejected. Sounds like they aren't far off though.
The view of Lavia is that of raw talent, high potential. They wanted to bring him in to have him play a reduced role this year, while he learns the system, gets his PEDs and is tutored by a senior mentor.
Fabinho maybe leaving put this on hold as he's probably not ready to hold down the fort in our mental football yet. They would have instead chased a more plug and play 6 type instead.
The two things are probably connected. Belief is Southampton value at £50m, but City have a buy back clause for £40m that activates in 2024, so any deal will likely be inbetween the two.
I could also say the troubled left-back or the okay looking attacking mid in a relegated club wouldn't be worth breaking the bank for either. But Robertson and Wijnaldum showed your previous club doesn't matter too much.
Not to mention the rise of Enzo Fernandez. Had barely signed for Benfica this time last year and he's already been at Chelsea for £100m for 6 months.
£40-50m for Lavia feels like the laziest scouting imaginable. How many senior games has he played?
Trick with Caicedo [who was very much a known quantity linked to many clubs before Brighton signed him] was that he cost £5m or something.
No idea what Fabinho is up to. If you don't want to go, why go through all the flirtation? Surely no one is actually saying no to however many million a month for their fucking dogs?
David Ornstein said the dogs thing was a load of bollocks

Surprised it took this long.
Expect some kind of rule to come in now, especially as Serie A clubs have already told Russians to fuck off.
For some reason I thought Joe Lewis would be a lot younger than 86. Good to see him heading to the slammer though along with the hopes and dreams of Spurs fans everywhere.
Does that fuck Kane over too?
Bloke spending more on his own defence than Spurs'.
We appear to be about to drop €70m on Rasmus Hojlund, who has a grand total of 9 goals in a top flight league ever.
In Ten Hag we trust :uhoh:
Amrabat probably next after that and I would imagine that finishes of our window unless someone goes out and needs replacing.
Also just seen someone call PSG "Purgatory Saint Germain" which I thought was quite funny.
Why can't you sell to Russians when you can sell to Arabs?
Sanctions?
Hojlund is tremendous business.
For Atalanta.
Why wouldn't you just wait/go for Kane?
Nah, very reliably reported he wanted to come to United this summer. Levy is just not entertaining bids from inside the league, so his only options if he wants to go this summer are Bayern or PSG.
Yeah, but Levy isn't going to be allowed to maintain that position.
Even at £100m he'd be worth it for United.
Swap for Mbappe. Jimmy's colleague knew it.
Mbappe rocking up at Spurs with a gentlemans agreement that he can go to Real next year would be amazing.
He should be insisting on Madrid or staying in the Premier League really, but then he is a bit of a retard when it comes to career decision making.
Henderson has already had his first training session with Al-Ettifaq, despite there yet to be anything even said about him going from Liverpool. Strange situation. He was apparently at Anfield the other day to film a goodbye video, but he and the club must have their fingers in their ears because a lot of the fanbase has rounded on him over the move.
There's a push on to get the Lavia deal done tonight. Liverpool fly out to Singapore tomorrow and Klopp wants him there pronto. Probably about £45m.
Fabinho also looks likely to leave again. The dog story was bollocks, it was that Al-Ittihad could not register players. They now can and so it is expected to happen. Unless Klopp decides it's too late to try and replace him now, he'll be gone by the weekend.
Al-Hilal going into next season with a midfield of Milinkovic-Savic, Verratti and Neves is a bit :cab:
If you're one of the shitmunchers making up the numbers and you injure one of the golden boys do you get executed?
Ousmane Dembele to PSG for 50m Euros which is his release clause.
Edit: Clause goes up to 100m on July 31st.
Mane off to Al-Nassr.
Not sure Chelsea signing Brighton’s potential replacement for Caicedo bodes well for them agreeing to sell the latter
As ridiculously good as he looks (blacker than coal and 190cm+, not seen him kick a ball yet), this is a statement, a proper changing of the tides moment if Brighton hold on to Caicedo.
I'd also like to think Brighton's ridiculous style of football will further flourish and really turn them into an established top 6 side but the Dyche demolition of last season makes me think they might be found to be a little naive if they're gonna go into the season and take the kind of bold risks in inviting the press that they've been doing in pre-season. More than half the teams now simply won't press them meanwhile we may break the record for high goalscoring game when we face them (and it'll be a comfortable victory too).
Striker market is so broken. Big gamble.
Better than Haaland.
Dude is a God on FM so that means he's gonna be winning the balloon in a few years.
£64 + 8m...that is wild.
At the start of last season it was Haaland vs Nunez for who will be the bigger success, and the latter has been lolled off planet Earth.
Hopefully Jackson vs Hojlund has a similar outcome.
Anyone who seriously considered Haaland vs Nunez to be a debate is a certified retard
Hopefully some Saudi lads will recall lines from this article such asand make a big money move for the donkey.Quote:
In a tale of two big summer signings, Nunez came off the bench to win a penalty and score his first goal since a 75-million euro ($77 million) move from Benfica, while Erling Haaland had a City debut to forget.
Isn't Hojlund essentially a poor man's Haaland? He'll do.
He's the bald Moroccan that donned the world cup, right?
Top, top business.
9 in his debut season and he's never been the number 1.
