Bought Mkhitaryan and I decided to put the full backs on stay back (had them on default) and it's brilliant now.
3 games won 2-1, lost 2-0 and won 2-0 against 82+ sides (the last 2 were 86 and 87), feels so much better defensively and despite the low scores I'm creating plenty of opportunities on the break but I've shanked a lot/got superkeepered.
I'm also surprised at Fernandinho, I thought he might not be great in the formation but he's thriving.
I'm tempted by the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow, if for no other reason than I want to play Rui Costa at CAM. He's wasted in central midfield.
Having a good CAM with good long shooting and a strong CDM makes that formation great. Legendary difficulty does not produce many wtf moments any more.
Sold 200k worth of POTM cards overnight. Lovren and IF Lang investments paying off nicely. Also managed to buy an IF gnabry last night for 31k. Haven't tested him yet but statistically, he gives g.jesus competition.

Salah has been awarded POTM and the SBC around it isn't as profitable as I would have hoped. Only roma and fiorentina are teams required along with sceeam, TOTW, OTW and Hero cards

Reading up on this FUTMAS event. I'm invested and involved heavy. Hopefully, some mid range full backs are available as you only have about 5 in the game that are highly rated. Any type on bundesliga special card, I'm on it.

Lost 10 in a row now. The AI have got some next level strength out of nowhere. I dont want to put the controller settings on legacy to come out of this dip. Im tried changing formation and tactics, but it makes zero difference. May have to go back down to world class.

Cost of everyhing is down so you can probabaly get several elite level players for that much.
