I thought he'd done ok tonight - I liked the positivity of the starting XI, I liked whatever he said to them at half time and mostly how we played since the break, but the Saka substitution has undone all that and more. The move of an incompetent.

Should have won by five too. France had nothing.

If this fucks Spurs' season it is ample consolation.

And Southgate aside, our record on foreign soil in tournament knockout football remains pathetic.

Really gutted.

We were the better side. Referee poor which affected us emotionally as most of the decisions were against us, a lot of our players suffered from inexperience in this respect (esp Bellingham who lost his head a bit). Ultimately though Kane is there to do one thing and he failed, so that's on him. I'm sure it'll be some consolation to him when he scores the next few against Brighton, Palace and Leicester.

Three really dislikeable teams left in plus Morocco. I probably want the frogs to win, you know. That's the sort of horror we're dealing with.
