PSG 1-0 down to Lyon.
Front 4 of Mbappe, Messi, Neymar and Di Maria :happycry:
Lyon's squad is ridiculous, some proper top-class youthful talent. Cherki is another that looked filth.
Sorry James, looks like I was wrong about Juve. They won't even get 4th.
It’s so dumb when people say this shit after 4 games, they’re 7 points off 4th. Like those minds that said ‘Arsenal could be in a relegation scrap!’ Last year. Football always reverts to the mean.
They won't be in a relegation scrap, but they are shit.
Saying stuff like Juventus are shit because they haven’t won the title in 12 months is moronic.
Super league was created for RL and his mates on Reddit.
I'm saying they're shit because their squad is completely average. They will finish about 4th.
So Man United have been shit for like 8 years?
Yes.
Seems a really tedious way to live life where everything below winning the champions league is shit.
Who said anything about needing to win the Champions League? United haven't even had a respectable title challenge since Ferguson retired. They can bung hundreds of millions at the problem so obviously expectations are on a different level to most teams; no title challenge and precious little silverware is shit.
How much Serie A have you watched in the past two seasons? What McKennie, Locatelli, Rabiot worse than Barella, Brozovic, Vecino?
You seem to be obsessed that you are right on this. I do not know if Juve have the best side in Serie A but you seem to be quite confident so please establish your credentials.
And yeah, if Juve can't win Serie A at a canter given the state of the other teams, they are also shit.
The difference is I've never claimed to be an authority, and I don't think I've ever even laid out a position. I think there was one post where I intimated that Ronaldo didn't completely carry Juventus last season and it seems to be living rent free in your head.
I don't follow Serie A. Stuff like transfermarkt, betting markets, and models made by people smarter than me are usually decent guides when I want a quick lay of the land. That's all I've gone off.
Excellent backtracking.
I have no interest in this sort of discourse, please do not @ me. It's fucking weird.

Someone whip out a spreadsheet.

The guy who does the player values for the Bundesliga clubs is a social worker who just makes them up in an excel spreadsheet.

"Clubs shouldn't make transfer decisions based on our numbers. Our method is unscientific."
I quite enjoy this weird obsession that a good few heads have got with RL. Continue.
Yes it's definitely that way round.
How do Juve get on whatever the current iteration of FM is? That'd be as good a yardstick as any. Sticking true to our roots and all.
Marcos Alonso escaping another murder charge I see.
Thankfully I don't head up recruitment for any football clubs. The person who assigns the values in any case is someone who follows the league a lot more closely than I. There is probably bias in there, sure, but it still boils down a large amount of data into something that can be digested quickly.
Thinking about it now it is probably more useful for your Danish 1st divisions than your Inter vs Juves.
It was perhaps misguided to present it in this argument, but then again, it's more than you've put forward.
I'm tempted to have a game with Milan, so I can let you know.
What I do know is an Italian team hasn't won the Champions League for over 10 years now, so it was unlikely Ronaldo was going to make the difference.
He follows all the rumours
He's never gonna stop
When establishing his credentials
He'll lose the fucking plot
Plane tracking and Juventus
The boards of TTH
He's the local crackpot
And it's not a fucking laugh
Allez Allez Allez
Pretty bold claiming victory on the basis that a big side - a big Italian side, no less - has lost a few early season games.
8 points off the lead with 102 points to play for, insurmountable I tell thee.
Ro-nal-do,
When a girl says no,
Molest her.
To 'Re-e-wind when the crowd say bo' obvs.
Woke up this morning feeling fine
Established his credentials for James online
Randrew's showing up all of the spreadsheet crew
(Oh-oh yeah)
Transfer rumours and cutting edge insight too
*repeat*
Scoffing at the opinions of Reddit users who are fans of the teams they are talking about and then defending the random guy doing the Bundesliga player values for Transfermarkt because he watches the league and so knows more than you. Lol.
Nice to see the goalkeeper's union continuing to help out Ronaldo.
Juve are 2nd favourites to win Serie A...based on the top betting sites.
Noblol.
Lol I had no idea RL’s whole hissy fit about Juventus was based on James saying that a team who had won the league every year since 2012 and got to the final of the Champions League twice in three years before they signed Ronaldo Probably won’t be largely affected by the transfer.
This is why relying on Reddit fans for opinion is dumb. Everyone’s got brain worms.
Can we have a guy aggregate football twitter opinions too, we must be missing a lot of great stuff from fans of their teams :happycry:
I can assure you that most football fans on reddit don't have a fucking clue. I'm sure they watch a lot of their team's matches, feel passionately about it and spend a lot of time thinking about it, but people are terrible at judging these things objectively.
Either way, I've made it clear that I do not think that my position is better than yours. I just find it odd that you've fully adopted someone else's opinion on something you don't know about as the truth. Do you do that with everything, or just football?
To be fair, Kante is the greatest midfielder to ever exist
I’m not denying the argument I’m just saying that these weirdos have brain worms and need to fuel them.
*After Fabinho.
Harvey Barnes :D
Just seen this business with online utd mongs taking a strong stance on Juve/Allegri is a trending topic. I thought at least this was one thing our lad had managed to cook up himself but alas :(
