Struggle to think of a more pointless game than Villa/Chelsea. Other then getting a look at Matt Miazaga who I presumed was made up.

They can be a bit suspect at the back and Barcelona's front three is preposterous. Also, new Madrid managers tend to get fucked to death in their first 'Clasico.'

It's nothing to do with Benitez mastermind. The only two senior left backs at the club are injured, so is the youth left back and the ginger gimp who's supposed to be able to play there is suspended.

Bit gutted I couldn't afford a ticket for this, haven't seen them since they got twatted by Spurs in the cup last season.

That's a given, more that he appears to not just be turning up for a payday but actually making a go of it.

As for Villa, even a 'rival' they are depressing to watch, not a chance they're coming right back up.

Why aren't Villa playing some of their young players at least? They literally have nothing to lose, their dignity went out the window a long time ago.

I started a game of Football Manager Mobile (balls to the full game) with Villa to see if I could keep them up and I finished 5th and got to the semis of the FA Cup. They should hire me.

What they need is for a team with a goal difference motivation to really go for it and put twelve or thirteen past them. That scale of humiliation might be the only thing to provoke whoever runs the club to sort it out or whatever.

The odd steady one for us, but generally poor. He got absolutely raped once by Amalfitano at West Brom.

I guess the idea is because he's left footed, and (theoretically at least) could be a bit versatile (in the sense that midfield plodders are often able to fill in at full back if needs be).

After this game Aston Villa will have the worst goal difference in the first six tiers of English football (haven't looked below that), and the only team worse in any of the first 10 or so European top flights is Troyes.

None of today's alleged team came through the academy, Smiffy. Our problem is we've clearly not been considering a players mentality when signing them and we've failed to get rid of wankers when they become/have always been unmotivated and uninterested, which has led to the squad being awash with complete cunts who blatantly don't give a fuck.

Also Villa not picking Agbonlahor because he smoked a sisha on holiday is fucking ridiculous. It goes back to treating players like adults, like any other professions. Unless smoking a sisha a few times on holiday effects his ability to play - it hasn't nothing to do with Villa.
