I watched a ton of B&B at the start of the year and found it quite interesting, if a little awkward and cringe-inducing at times with his quite clear belief that he's above the natives.
But a friend of mine linked me to a reddit post that, as Luca mentions, basically details how much of a fucked up person he is and that there quite a lot of damning evidence that points to him doing some shady sexual stuff over the years and his travels.

Most asian (east-asian for you Brits) people know him because of that video, which I admit was hilarious when I first saw it. The rest of his material is basically all the same character all the time, so has become somewhat of a one-trick-pony.
He was 'himself' on 8 out of 10 cats dictionary corner, and it was probably the most unfunny guest I had seen on the show.
P.S. I'm also totally on board with all his asian cooking stereotypes. Measure by "feel", cook rice using a rice cooker, measure water levels using the finger method, chopsticks being the best utensil, MSG being amazing, etc, etc.
