The way they ruined Jericho's pop with that ten second countdown was a shambles.
Just watched the show (well, had it on in the background).
Owens winning is good, even if it wasn't exactly convincing. Owens v Ryback isn't a hugely exciting feud, so hopefully we'll get Cesaro or someone similar challenging KO instead.
New Day continue to entertain, and the result was probably correct. Ziggler/Rusev sounds like they've just accepted that half the creative time used to write soap operas & have let them run wild on one feud. Not surprised by the way the Divas match played out - Charlotte's probably even less entertaining than Nikki, but at least we might get good matches & feuds now.
Jericho was kind of a rubbish surprise, but there weren't really many partners that could've been much better without being an NXT callup, so whatever. Cena winning is unsurprising & I'm not sure what the point of the champion v champion match was if everything was going to be back as it was a month later, but then again it's WWE so it's pretty much standard procedure.
Sting seems to be done - apparently he's on RAW, so I assume he's retiring, as that injury is apparently very serious.
Oh, yeah, and Kane was there too.
Well they have Brock vs Taker on the cards, so they can afford to have a shit/filler title match.
I haven't watched any WWE for quite a while, so a few random thoughts:
When did Rusev return to being Bulgarian, and why?
The New Day are superb, and the PPV crowds' reaction said as much, but Raw's crowd was painfully silent. Very odd.
I reckon Sting's injury is just an aggravation from this:

Without looking at any previous results or wikipedia, have a wild guess what happened to Rusev.
So this is really the angle they're going with for Kane? :D
I think it's hilarious. In a tragic 'so they've just let the writers run wild with any old shit' kind of way.
Is Sting dead then or what?
Nobody has a clue what's going on with him. Every report I read is different. I'd suspect it's not all that serious. I mean, he did get up and finish the match, so how people were claiming he'd broke his back and/or neck is beyond me.
I doubt the STINGER actually broke his neck but Austin also finished his match with Owen Hart when he got piledrived through the floor.
I'm sure TNA did the same with Abyss between his lawyer character and monster version.
He poked his tongue through a hole in his face so anything is possible.
RAW on October 19th could be incredible.
Why?
Austin, Flair, Michaels and Taker all appearing.
Ric Flair having to get his boring daughter over is a bit tragic, although I did lol at PaigeJ Lee calling the squat ginger one the 'least relevant'. How true.
Didn't realise that Lesnar's "tour" was including televised matchs, just thought it was more Network rubbish.
With all those legends.... they're planning some awful shit, aren't they? :(
Cynical or not, I'll not be doing anything other than going mental once the glass shatters.

Yeah. When he came out at WrestleMania and saved that **** ***** segment I was chimping out.

Angle and Austin were fucking brilliant together.
The Austin/Angle rivalry was the best thing about the Invasion storyline. Great chemistry.
What the fuck is going on with Kane? :moop: The whole multiple personality thing was shit when TNA did it with Abyss, and it looks like it's going to be pretty bad here too.
Paige's turn was interesting, Nattie's still alive & jobbing, and New Day continue to bring the lols, but that's about all of RAW I bothered with.
Well, excpt for Braun Strowman's amazing promo. "I caught a snake once..." :D
Watching NXT. How the fuck do you do spoiler tags on this forum?
- There's a fucking Super Dragon chant in the Eva Marie/Carmella match :D Gotta be honest though, Eva looks alright (her entrance is terrible), and Carmella looks shit. Her Enzo-isms are annoying.
- In before we get a 'Family of The Rock' stable on the main roster with Nia Jax, Tamina, Roman Reigns & The Uso's.
- Have the seriously covered the 'Bull-Shit' chants as 'Bull-Fit'? Amazing work.
- Breaking Ground looks like it should be an interesting show.
- Really fucking weird seeing Kana jumping about all excited & smiley. Hopefully we'll see her kick the shit out of both girls at the next Takeover.
- I have no idea what the gimmick of this Dusty Classic tournament is, but having half the matches at live events is rather odd, and Joe & Balor getting so far kinda takes the piss a bit.
- The main event is hardly very interesting when the exact same match happened like two weeks ago.
Emma saying she drove Charlotte and Becky out of NXT :face:
That Super Dragon thing was weird, have I missed something or is that just a complete non-sequitur?
Ashley is actually from HR :D
Anyone noticed she changed her clothes twice / made alterations to cover her chest up.
The fucking trombone.
The lowest ratings from a Raw episode since the 90s apparently. It's what they deserve for putting on shit for so long.
I read a review of the show and it just sounded so boring. With no real competition, they can get away with it unfortunately.
I noticed this from the Main Event spoilers:

None of those shows really count as canon, Smackdown barely does as it is. You could have Heath Slater beat Brock Lesnar on Superstars and you'd never hear of it again.
Watching Vengeance '05. What the fuck was going on with Lillian Garcia proposing to fucking Viscera?
Well, he was the World's Largest Love Machine.
Wasn't that Mark Henry? That old woman giving birth to a hand was the day wrestling died for me.
Michael Swole

It was definitely Viscera. Even if he didn't look entirely different the Godfather came out and called him "Big Vis" a load of times and encouraged him to sleep with prostitutes.
What a Grade A cunt Cole looks.
Mark Henry was Sexual Chocolate.
Any time someone complains about WWE being PG, remember one of Viscera's trademarks was pretending to sodomise his helpless opponent.
Or Triple H and Katie Vick.
What does "sodomising" actually mean? Is is just generally being demeaning to someone in a sexual situation, is it having anal sex, or is anal rape, or even something with bestiality?
Cole's nipples......
Road Dogg's pumphandle slam springs to mind.
I had Raw on and they said that Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt have been feuding for five months. I suppose it keeps them both busy and out of the important things, but fucking hell what a shit and pointless rivalry.
