At 46? Doubt it.
I'd love to be proven wrong but it's not going to be a late 90s/early 00s Shane match.

Watched a couple of Stone Cold podcasts tonight, haven't watched any before. Watched Heyman who was pretty much what you'd expect and Big Show, who I thought came across really well in his appearance as he did in his documentary on the Network. And I thought he handled the stuff about his face/heel flip-flopping and stuff like that really well. Seems a properly good guy.
Some nifty towel tactics too. Mark Henry is another guy who comes across very well in these things.
Watching the Vince one. It's got to the end, Austin says there's a minute left and Vince says he owns the Network and is having another fifteen minutes. :D
I'm watching Hogan vs The Rock from WrestleMania X8, and lol at Jim Ross pretending that the crowd were split.
I had a good lol when I watched it last at just how one-sided the crowd were. Rock was getting booed for delivering clotheslines.
Jericho's entrance routine ruins his pop every time, the build up (countdown etc) worked the very first time but after that it should have just started with the music.
Still don't get the Undertaker's part in this thing but whatever.
Ambrose has grown on me and I'll be curious to see how HHH holds up.
I stayed up last night because The Undertaker was on. I couldn't believe what a total fucking waste of time it was.
I'd also say it was the worst Raw I've ever watched. And I genuinely mean that.
I did the same and I'd completely agree. His entrance was longer than his promo and everything just appeared to be shit.
Ambrose is about the only good thing there now. Especially with AJ being sent for a tag title shot. Really needs a Nexus-style, Balor Club invasion some time soon to pick things up. I don't think I could sit through a WM knowing Reigns is going over while the actual top babyface is ignored.
And Santino retired.
So they have a WWE Title match at "Roadblock" but not as their actual PPV? Fuck sake.
Lol at Vince and his displeasure at getting zero reaction from the crowd. You put on crap you kill the crowd.
And also lol at them using Ambrose to try and get Reigns cheered. Just because Haitch cripples his mate they think Reigns will get automatically cheered when he wins at Mania. I look forward to the inevitable boos. Even then they still won't get it through their heads nobody wants this shit.
I hear that.
What was the point of Fastlane if Ambrose gets a title shot anyway...
Y2AJ is abit shit, wanted him to face Owens. Looks like we will get a 3 way between Owens, Ziggler and Miz. League of Jobbers still messing about with the US title.
Hopefully Bulletproof will debut in the Taker match.

Father Damo!
Someone just asked me a question to do with WWE in 2003, so to refresh my memory of that time I looked at the WM card from that year. How in the fuck did Vince McMahon Vs Hulk Hogan get more match time than The Rock Vs Stone Cold, and only 2 minutes less than HBK/Y2J and 20 seconds less than Angle Vs Lesnar. Fucking hell what a mess.
Because the WWE is/was a plaything of a man who didn't get to be a pro-wrestler but did inherit a wrestling company.
I watched that match the other day. It was rubbish, but it would have all been worth it had Roddy Piper not botched taking his coat off. But he did, and it ruined the pop.
You working through anything in particular, Lewis, or do you just watch random matches as the mood takes you?
I was looking at some old 'Mania cards and remembered the Piper bit being lol.
There aren't enough Titantrons in existence to accurately display Vince's ego, that's how this shit happens.
That Mr America run was amazing though. They should bring him back if Hulk Hogan is done for good.
"Lemme tell ya sumthin, brothers, I'm not Hulk Hogan."
*repeat that exact line for fifteen minutes and call it a promo.*
They should have Big Show see out the rest of his career as The Showster.
The match at WM26 where the entire Hart family beat the shit out of a man in his late 60s got around the same time as the world title matches and twice as long as CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. I think the hall of fame Cole vs Lawler match had the same kind of thing too.
Hyabusa's passed away. Pretty shit when you consider it wasn't that long ago he was able to walk back into the ring.
Bossman is going into the HOF.
'To watch the Big Show cry about his old daddy for the very last time!'
Jericho heel turn tonight?
Bossman was ace.Quote:
With deepest regrets and tears that are soaked, I'm sorry to hear your dad finally croaked.
He lived a full life on his own terms. Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms.
But if I had a son as stupid as you, I'd wish for cancer so I would die too.
So be brave, and get your life back on track. The old bastards dead and he ain't ever coming back
Damn, they pulled Bossman Behaving Badly from youtube. :(
Rumours of something big happening on Raw tonight. Either Sami Zayn or Cena, I reckon.
It'll be Cena. He's teasing something.
Shane coming out and saying that Raw/WWE is shite doesn't really work if he loses at WrestleMania does it?
It feels like years since the crowd chanted "Asshole" at Vince.
.....
I'm telling you. He's never getting anywhere with that music and those 'local talent' leggings.
.....
What's the basis of that feud then? Who has the lowest standards?
I hope Jericho's heel turn includes trousers.
Brock is no doubt gonna cause a Ambrose the title at Roadblock
Have a fatal 4way, bring Linda back to a MASSIVE pop next week and have a McMahon in each corner like 16 years ago!
.....
Maybe.
