I am fucking sick after that. 2 games now where we should be banking 4 points, instead we're 7 adrift and have lost both games.

Right, so, I don't watch goals on Sunday that much, but I've just tuned in to this cracker from Chris Kamara regarding Chris Woods' disallowed goal for Burnley yesterday:
(paraphrasing)
Wait, what? Is that really 'the rule'?Quote:
Woods can't score with his arm so you draw the line from the first part of his body he can play the ball with, but Holdebas can score an own goal with his arm (the implication being that is the point from which the defensive line is drawn) so he's onside
I can't believe a guy called Martin Braithwaite has just scored for Leganes and he's not British.
Danish.
The F365 Mailbox is always a hive of terrible takes (why else would they keep printing Lewis) but 'Chelsea lost because Sarri doesn't wear a suit' is top stuff.
Quote:
It’s probably difficult to motivate players in that situation. He also should look at his own motivation – shouldn’t he be setting an example to commitment? How about quitting smoking? Or turning up on match day dressed like a professional ready to go to work, rather than looking like he just rolled out of bed and dragged yesterday’s tracksuit out of the pile of clothes on the floor?
Players should play in suits.
Ffs phonics, I'm trying to work here.
when I started watching football, I was into gazette. I think it was Lippi who used to smoke a cigar in the dugout during games. When his team concedes, he didn't react. When his team scored, he didn't react. He just uses to smoke his cigar. The assistsnt used to yell and scream during games. Lippi was just cool. Sarri isnt an Italian in any way.
Kevin Prince Boateng just has the coolest career, he's off to Barca this week.
Already been there with Las Palmas of all teams.
I think this marks the official end of the tiki taka era.
Quite funny to read that Dortmund couldn't afford him in 2009 so he went to Portsmouth instead.
In fairness, Portsmouth couldn't afford him either they just bought him anyway.
I notice a Colin Rosler playing for the City u21's tonight against Sunderland.
Colin? What on earth were you thinking Uwe.
Probably named after COLIN BELL.
Old City just one of the great things of football when I started watching that has since disappeared, along with Wimbledon FC, shit goalkeepers wearing tracksuit bottoms, the use of 'Scottish international' as a note of respect, those Gerald Sinstadt goal roundups on MOTD, and the FA Cup being by far the most exciting thing in the calendar.
I miss the FA Cup's sense of occasion. Your day was completely taken up with the final. Our Super Bowl.
Higuain's plane has landed safely which is the first hurdle overcome, now we have about an hour to register him so he can play against Spurs.
Did he have the operation the plane?
Apparently half his medical was done in Italy and the other half here, so the Operation sounds like it's bang on schedule. They'll just drop his talent in the bin like a discarded placenta.
Talent? What talent?

The Fulham implosion continues.
Is Higuain actually good? I've never really been able to tell.
I know he's scored a ton of goals but I've literally never personally watched a game where he's done anything remotely remarkable.
Steve Clarke on the march to win the league with Kilmarnock.
Doing a cracking job. Fair play to him.
Barcelona signing some kid I've never really heard of from Ajax for 65M.
He's one of the most hyped youngsters around at the moment.
I get that, I mean I've seen his name thrown around in transfer rumours. But, I've never seen him play that I know of, and he doesn't seem to have proved all that much.
Mad transfer fees for players under 21, usually work out decent if the history is anything to judge from.
De Jong is gonna leave Ajax without ever winning a trophy
Similar to Suarez, who never won the Dutch league. :youpi:
Google states Suarez received a medal for the Ajax 2010-11 league win where he left for Liverpool in January.
AFC quarter-final. Vietnam v Japan. Yoshida scores from a corner, just about to restart and the ref gets a call from upstairs. Overturned for handball!!! #YesVAR
Ajax also have a chance at the league title this year. Shambles all round from Baz.
Henry has been 'suspended' as manager of Monaco.
Bad mouthing the opp
People talk about Hazard but he hasn't turned up for a while now, the real reason we are still vaguely afloat is that little genius in midfield.
Oh wait are Pochettino's players all getting muscle injuries in January? What next.
What an unreal injury list we’ve got
This is going precisely as expected
Are you allowed to tackle from behind if it results in the referee having to make a tricky decision about red/yellow card? Must be in the laws somewhere. They are all cowards.
Emerson is streets ahead of Alonso
Love that this goes to penalties rather than the ludicrous away goals but only after extra time rule they had before.
This is definitely not for petty reasons.

Can't wait to see where we put these penalties. There's a pie stand down the Fulham Road which has Willian's name on it.
Is it that awful ABBA shit?
I reckon all eleven should take one at the same keeper, set a target, and then the other team have to chase it down like cricket.
