It’s the metaphor involved. You’ve got the best driver in the best car with the better tyres and he catches at 3-4 seconds per lap then can’t do anything about it. Take away the artificial DRS and you have the same issue at a lot more circuits. Either you build 10 more circuits or reel the car sizes back 10 years. Three years ago you had Ross Brawn saying they’d look to eliminate DRS after a couple of seasons of the new regulations because they could race closer. What a fucking lol that is in hindsight.Quote:
