What's the difference between sprints and sprint shootouts again?
The qualy session we just had was for Sundays race.
However in previous years, it set the grid for the Sprint, the sprint then set the grid for the race. This created confusion over who should be awarded pole, should the guy who qualified 1st not finish the Sprint race in 1st.
This avoids that by having SPRINT SHOOTOUT be essentially another qualy session but to set the grid for the Sprint race.
It will all be Max anyway.
Oh. That's not a great way to solve a problem but there you go.

They should do the same thing in the race and delete laps (ie you are then a lap down/have to do another one) rather than the almost nothing they currently do with their black and white flags.

So there are 20 drivers driving 71 laps of a 10-corner circuit. So I make that 14,200 potential breaches of track limits throughout the entire race, so that means 8.5% of all completed corners were done so in breach of track limits. But it's probs skewed heavily towards T9 and T10 so the rate for those two corners alone is probably 15-20% for the entire race. Bonkers. Good luck going over each and every one of those :D.
