Sorted.
You just knew I have the third waiver claim & either I was going to get myself a proper QB or someone that didn't need him was going to have to waste a roster spot to stop him coming to me :nodd:
The right decision made.
Stop being a mong, Pleb.
Cheers @Browning.
Can't decide who to start in my third FLEX spot in my 0.5PPR dynasty league. Currently got Derrick Henry there, but I'm not feeling too confident given he's up against the Jags & only had five or six carries last week. However, my only other viable options are :
1. Corey Davis - also on the Titans, meaning he'll be up against Ramsey & Bouye, but probably their best WR. Also possibly still on a snap count.
2. Paul Richardson - a low volume guy that I'd be hoping caught a deep ball against the 49ers. He does seem to catch a 30+ yarder quite often though.
3. One of the Raiders backups (Washington & Richard) - they're playing the Jets, so maybe they'll get a TD when Lynch needs a rest?
My RBs are so shit in that league :D I do have a beastly cast of receivers though.
Corey Davis, no question. Henry is only going to be viable if/when Murray goes down.
Is it an obsession having 6 teams currently running? :baz::baz: I can't get enough and i am always trying to trade for players although no one seems to even consider my trades. This is so addicting.
Personally I hate having 5 teams (although one of them I pay no attention to other than set the line up) and would like to cut it down to about 3 for next season, but I doubt that'll happen. I just hate being in games where a player doing well helps me in 1 league and hurts me in another, kind of takes away part of the fun.
I really need a win in Dynasty today as going 0-2 would really annoy me, especially after losing by half a point last week with Henry scoring 0 and Robinson limping off injured after 1 play. I'm facing the "worst team" in the league but he's projected to beat me, mainly due to Brady. It better not happen.
We've had a HUGE trade in the mental IDP dynasty league.
Kareem Hunt, a 5th round pick and a 6th round pick for Marlon Mack, a 1st round pick and a second round pick.
Second team really wants to win this year.
I don't really get how trading draft picks works in a dynasty league.
Let's say for example I trade Player X and a 20th round pick for Player Y and a 15th round pick.... isn't that kind of pointless given that we will both almost certainly fill those spots with keepers, and thus gain extra picks at the top of the draft? This is assuming the system that Mahow uses where the keepers fill out your board from the bottom up (which is what I intend to use in mine).
I've implemented a rule where if you obtain an extra draft pick in a round, you can still only have one keeper in that round. So for example if I trade a player for a 15th round pick straight up, I can't put 2 keepers into round 15, so I will actually have to pick someone in round 15, rather than gaining an extra keeper spot and thus an extra pick at the top of the draft. But I have no idea if that's logical or game breaking in some way, it was just the only solution I had.
Hopefully my league doesn't completely fail when we come to the year 2 draft. :D
Opponent still hasn't altered his team, so I'm up a head coach(I have Seahawks who have 49ers at home) and a RB. He does however have players likely to make up those lost points. I have Evans back this week and have brought in Rivers and Allen to start. I'm not sure I trust Stafford enough to start him against a tougher Giants secondary.
Hopefully I don't go 0-2 here. I've never even started 0-1 in any league so it'd an odd feeling.
Sounds like he's a KC fan:
"I thought I traded for hunt in all my leagues. This is the only league i didn't have him in. I was going to accept anything you counter with lol I'm making mixon my first round pick for next year's draft lol"
Who dropped Crowder :cab: ?
Bruh.
Nice to see that you're aiming to win the Crocked Bowl btw.
I've missed Mike Evans.
Me too. Bittersweet in that I both have him and face him this week.
Even if it wasn't a TD.
Didn't pay attention to my random Yahoo leagues so I have John Brown over Dez in one, and Maclin over Martavis in the other :moop:
Thought I was crazy to start 2 Baltimore RBs.
Glad I did.
Drew Brees and Tom Brady are both such massive cunts.
Brady for beating me on his own in Dynasty and Brees for forgetting who his top target from last week was to mean that through almost 1.5 games I still have 0 points from my TEs.
I'm doing really well with QBs so far this year :moop:
I dropped Palmer, knowing he had the Colts this week, for a reason.
He's completely finished. He was finished last season.
I was hoping the Colts defence would out-bad him & he'd have a good game, but it doesn't seem likely. Should've stuck with Flacco, clearly.
Le'Veon Bell is so shit too. I swear every time I face him he get 40 catches for 5000 yards and 27 TDs. But the 2 weeks I start him.... fuck all.
Edit- Yep, he somehow gets 125 yards per catch, I swear.
I might lose one matchup this week because of the Tampa D.
25 fucking points.
I've never wanted a Bears TD more (hell a few FGs will do).
Kareem dragging me into my matchup again
Fucking Derrick Henry on my dynasty bench though :panda:
Thank you Glennon.
I'm 5-0 in my leagues this week at the moment :sherlock:
Think that Crabtree TD has killed me off.
Needed more I feel as Crabtree wont be done and I can't see Freeman holding off the charge.
Fairly sure the worst team in the league has dicked me in dynasty thanks to just Brady.
What fucking sucks is my game in my main league is on a knife edge but he has Cousins and I have Reed, which is the opposite of my Dynasty league.... so everything they do is positive and negative for me.
I guess I just need Todd Gurley to run in 5 TDs and win both games on his own.
Another Crabtree TD kills what little hope there was in dynasty. Fuck Cousins now. Hope he gets wrecked.
Fuck that sorry ass receiver.
Hopefully the Cowboys forget that 'Zeke exists.
Our match seems to be coming down to Zeke v Freeman.
Yep, it's over.
Freeman will barely break double figures.
I hate Crabtree so much.
Apparently Howard was seen in a sling following todays game.
Guess we'll see if Tarik Cohen can take a full workload despite being about the same size as a kicker.
Five of RBs on my roster scored more than 10pts today
I also have Crabtree & Gurley in one team.
Gurley running riot to get me back in the game.
'Zeke is keeping me in this.
He's costing me in both leagues. What the hell is he/are they doing?
Denver D is key.
I have him in one league and my opponent has Gurley.
Should have been an easy win but it's not over. I could do with Demaryius doing more as well as Tate and Golladay doing better than their predictions on Monday. Currently projected to lose by about 7.5 points so I could still pull it out.
Goodnight sweet prince.
That should be 2-0, Yahoo and their predictions can suck a dick.
Had a tough situation. Both opponents have Falcons. If they ran the ball more, I lose in TTH, but if Ryan picks up the points I lose in the work league. I needed a balance between the two but 22 points from Freeman means I'm left needing a 33 point game from Stafford or I'm 1-1 in TTH.
In the work league, barring Golden Tate picking up more than 27 points, I also go to 1-1. What hasn't helped is my "extra players." I'm technically 2 up, with him having not players a HC and having played Woodhead. That combined with Rudolph and OJ Howard should have seen me out of sight. But again my RBs let me down. A combined 6.5 points between Shady and Zeke was blitzed by Gurley. Hence why he has a decent chance now. The way this weekend has gone, Tate will have the game of his career.
Main League- Taking on the guy who beat me by half a point in dynasty.... we record a very easy win. My only major let down was Diggs putting up 5 points which still covered DeMarco Murray. Some of the match ups were close, but we smashed it at RB where Gurley and Montgomery put up 58 points to the 15 scored by Murray and Cook. We lead 217-186 with only Landon Collins to play for him while we have Odell Beckham, or Shane Vereen if Beckham can't go. We move to 2-0 and should retain top spot.
Dynasty League- Despite the fact I really liked my team compared to his other than at QB/TE, we got absolutely smashed, going down 143-168 thanks completely to Brady and Crabtree (and also Kelce to an extent). His team is awful so this could really haunt us at the end of the season. We go to 0-2 and seem likely to be the only team to start with that record. Next week we take on the team I consider the best team (for this year, not for dynasty) so that's bound to be a win.
TTH- A win! Far from a convincing one, but I'll take it. Will move off the bottom, but likely not by much.
4th League- We currently trail by just under 2 points, but we have Golden Tate left to play. Assuming he can get 1 catch for 10 yards or so, we'll wrap this up. It seemed to already be done, by Ty Montgomery has given him the slim hope. With the top 2 struggling, I should move from 3rd to top of the table, although a BS trade (as per every year) may have made the owner favorite to win this league despite his loss to me last week. Might quit after this year because that literally happens every year.
Auto Draft League- Don't care, but I'm going to 2-0 as long as Tate doesn't get 17 points with a full PPR. He very much could do it (he did last week) but I hope not.
