You heavbily underestimate how much Plumbers/Plasterers/Electricians make.

Rich to me implies some sort of independence from work, what do they call it? A private income? Being on Ł80k (but working for it) makes you well off, not rich.
I'm amazed anyone watches Question Time. I haven't been able to bear it for years.
And also the legitimately rich also act in exactly that manner all the time.
If (as he claims) someone values his annual labour at over Ł80,000 and employs him on PAYE, then that implies that either: a) he has exceptional managerial ability built up over many years; or b) he has a specialist skill built up over many years which he successfully deployed in business.
I don't think anyone who is willing to go on national television and deploy the level of arguments he did could possibly also fulfil either a) or b), unless: c) the person who employs him is a numbskull who is about to lose a lot of money if they haven't already.
Jim this bloke has over 25 million quid in the bank

There's not a venn diagram of Rich and Smart people that is a perfect circle.
To make this argument apolitical, Keith Vaz and David Lammy are worth over 5 million pounds each.
Just be real with yourself, you think he's lying because he's got the accent of a poor person.
I didn't say anything about wealth, I said something about income and specifically the likely public behaviour of people who are high-paid employees on PAYE, i.e. those who have got to a high wage having played by the rules. If you read my comment as 'rich people are smarter than poor people', well, that's your problem and not mine.
Incidentally, the only way for Corbyn to pay for all this stuff he wants to do will be large increases in all taxes including those on lower and middle incomes. If people decide this is a price worth paying then fine, but it's no use pretending that gesture politics will provide for this massive increase in the size and scope of the state.
Oh and there's a Question Time special with the leaders about to start, which is what we all need in these troubled times.
Corbyn has done really well here.
The antisemitism, underfunded policies and a split of the vote to the Lib Dems will see him do quite badly I fancy, but he's actually quite good at this now.
If you’ve worked to earn good money then you shouldn’t have to pay extortionately more to pay for the dregs.
Who decides what "extortionately more" is?
Seriously, I wish Scotland would just fuck off.
Basic economics means that there wouldn't be 'good money' for you to earn in the first place without 'the dregs' as you call them.
Giggles, that really is an appalling attitude.
Any free society only works when people are prepared to look out for each other, even if only to a certain degree.
Cut them to what? Benefits are so low life must be pretty grim as it is.
People going nuts about a pence increase on income over Ł80k a year are going to shit the bed when they see the monthly health insurance premiums as Bozza and Nige ride off into the sunset as newly minted billionaires on the back of the NHS sell off.
Why have you got such disdain for those who are less fortunate? Do you really think benefits are some life of larry rather than a complete turd of an existence?
This 80k and not being on PAYE is absolutely mental as well. With IR35 closing, more people are falling into PAYE. Unless you're some super rich dickhead who doesn't even have an income.
14 million UK citizens are not living in poverty.
Sigh.
And you're an arse Giggles.
You're absolutely clueless.
Education and a bit of fucking work can be done by all.
Back on topic lads.
Swinson's definitely worth a motorboat and tit wank, preferably in that order.
Yeah because "everyone" is on a low income for the same reason. You're not that fucking stupid.
Didn't the Lib Dems use to be the centrist party? This is proper lefty wing nut shit.
I'm actually with Swinson on this one. It's not undemocratic if she tells people before they vote for her what she's going to do and sticks to it.
Students don't leave university with 50 grand of debt and they're not paying 6% interest back (in any normal sense) when they can "barely get a job".
How is this horseshit still being peddled?
How does another referendum heal wounds? How are people so fucking stupid?
Jesus, the rage is piling on here.
It's like the definition of motivated reasoning that one isn't it. I wouldn't even vote in a second referendum, let alone take the result in my arse.
Swinson is toast. She might even lose her seat if the Nats have a good night.
That nuclear deterrent answer was a pretty good one, but it all generally came across like she was pleading for her life.
Nope, 40% of the children in your community are not living in poverty.
'Prime Minister, how can you justify that EVERYONE in the country except you is LIVING IN ABJECT POVERTY?'
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, they were cheering, they were booing, they were pulling bullshit from their arseholes, they were pulling buttplugs from their arseholes.
I think on current poverty measures something like ninety per cent of people were in poverty during the sixties. Were they really?
Look at these kids seething with fury. Just like all the other kids in the whole of history, but they think they're special, just like all the others did.
Fiona is becoming a worthy successor to Dimbleby.
And Boris is crap at this. Just piss poor.
Margaret Thatcher would have eye-rolled and belittled these twats into the nearest canal.
