Fulham without Mitrovic look a bit lost.
Like the look of Szoboszlai from the attacking 8 role. Terrible dive for the pen though.
This box midfield thing is annoying me. As has been mentioned. Konate so often looks up to find no simple pass into his right back. The ball is then into Mac/Trent while being closed down or already marked and mostly today has resulted in the ball lost and immediate threat in behind. For most of that first half Bournemouth were just leaving 4 players pushed up because the midfield was so disjointed they knew they'd get the ball back.
I'm also not a fan of any formation that stops the literal top assisting fullback this league has seen from getting up in support. Jota off for Endo please and put Gakpo up front then get Mac further up.
Brighton winning the lot this year.
Christ, shows how grim Man Utd were on Monday. Brighton running absolute riot
Never a red card there.
Nope. Officials are utterly pathetic. Both penalty and red card should clearly be overturned
Surprised he didn't start last week.
Liverpool mirroring their season ending shit fest against Palace last year by the looks of it.
Was hoping to come in here with a Mac Lollister post, but that red card decision is ridiculous.
Yeah, not a great tackle, but not a red. VAR never overturns it though.
How many Liverpool home debuts have ended in red cards? Darwin, now MacAllister, Joe Cole managed it way back when.
Banned for 3 games if there's no appeal too. Doucoure please.
That red card decision is laughable.
I've just read that two officials have got injured in the Portsmouth game so in order to be able to complete the game, a fan from the crowd has taken over from the fourth official???
Edit:
Yeah, happened a few times before. Fans ran the lines before as well
Wonder if it was the twat with the bell.
Livescore has Aaron Connolly scoring twice without actually coming on off the bench. That's good going.
Vicario is so shit.
I feel like City get away with full-backs in midfield because they have all the ball and nobody dares to commit numbers attacking them, like how Barcelona and Spain made Gerard Pique look good for a number of years. Other teams doing it are just going to be exposed down the sides.
That pass from Bruno
Shame Sir Marcus was offside and fucked the header.
That's a pen for me.
I can't watch Rashford traipsing about up front all year (and putting his limp on when they're losing) so Hojlund had better not be crap.
Jesus fuck Bruno.
As for United and I know it’s very early in the season but Casemiro looks like he’s had the Fabinho pill over the summer and realistically for the last couple of months last season as well.
He came back a bit of a fatty and now it seems like he’s lost about 10 attribute points in pace.
Porro is some specimen.
Onana's passing is something else.
Man Utd’s tactics of lumping the ball into space for Rashford to run into or spam crosses like prime Stoke City hasn’t changed much from last year
ffs.
Udogie is gonna be quality
This Man Utd midfield
Cannot tell if Bissouma is back to being quality or if it’s just the opposition.
Mason Mount has been horseshit.
Who could've seen that coming?
This still has Spurs throwing a goal away and drawing or fully collapsing and losing.
A cardboard cut-out could do his job.
As Waff said, the whole midfield has been pretty shit. Though what Mount is doing at any given point I couldn't tell you.
Some Favela nonsense today that's for sure.
We're so shit.
The state of that. :D
Its a team still in transition lads another year or so just need to spend another half bil
Maybe Ben Davies is the Kane replacement.
I'd rather have McTominay playing ahead of Mount.
Man United could really use someone like Endo in their midfield.
Mason Molehill spent the entirety of last season doing exactly what he's done today. I have no idea why anyone in the top 10 would be interested.
