The seers say we are in for Griezmann on loan. Please no, I can't bear to look at his stupid French face all year, and that's before we perform the operation and he scores 4 in 51.
Do you just think anything posted on twitter is "happening"?
That Chiesa rumour is from fucking SportBible lmao. Haaland is not happening.
I can't wait to see what we do to Haaland. Overweight and loaned out to Brann within two years.
I'd imagine most people have access to Google though
Check your fucking journo tiering list you twats. This is a serious thread.
You were all sticklers for reliability when I suggested a couple of ITKs with excellent track records might actually have a source, then get butthurt when it's pointed out rumours from shit like SportBible are obvious bullshit
Varane to Utd all but done.
It's from Falk who is an absolute fraud. He made a name for himself when Lahm was at Bayern and used to feed him information; since Lahm retired he knows nothing.
They won't sell Haaland (unless there's some absolutely stupid £200m bid, which there won't be). Zorc has said he won't be sold this summer. Chelsea fans are living under the same delusions we were a year ago when we thought Zorc would still sell Sancho after he said the deadline was August 10th.
Haaland will go next summer when the release clause kicks in and Raiola, his Dad and him can get the extra money which would have gone on the transfer fee.
They’re all frauds. Hence why I said apparently they bid and put a laughing face. Sport Blid is still not Sports Bible.
There’s a slight difference between Ed Woodward and Roman Abramovich. The latter always gets what he wants
We need more transfer journalist bios.
I’m not sure Roman Abramovich has ever even heard of Hakimi to be honest
How dare you plebs post rumours in RL's thread?
:flex:
That should be a block of fancy kitchen knives instead of a katana though.
A block? How dare you, casual?!
:D
Was just about to come in here and say Luca would be along shortly to denounce blocks of knives . . .
I have a custom built knife stand actually.
From a tier 1 knife stand maker?
Also according to the Beeb, the only source anybody should need, Messi is staying at Barcelona in a totally predictable anticlimax.
A shame. I was hoping to see him moping about in a PSG shirt wondering why he'd bothered.
50% wage cut.
It's going to be tough living on £61.5m a year.
He's finishing his career there. He can twist all he wants but no other league offers him the opportunity to chase meaningless numbers. And somewhat meaningful trophies.
It seems he could be going to Inter Miami after 2 years:
https://www.skysports.com/football/n...r-cent-pay-cut
""The reason it's a five-year deal is that it is likely that Messi will play the next two years but it's a longer deal so that he stays linked to the club as an ambassador. But the talk is he might go to MLS after two years while still being paid by the club.
"It's a way for Barcelona to spread out the payment over five years. That's part of the reason he's been able to take such a massive cut of around 50 per cent.""
How are we going to get ourselves out of this finaincial bind we're in right now?
How about giving players contracts so long that'll we'll still be paying them long after they've retired?
Can't see how that's going to go wrong when half their wage bill in three years is for players who no longer even play for them.
And then they'll make him manager/binman.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Bonilla
Bobby Bonilla is still getting paid for another 14 years.
What a life
Makes 3rd Goalkeepers look over worked.
:happycry:Quote:
Mets owner Fred Wilpon accepted the deal mostly because he was heavily invested with Ponzi scheme operator Bernie Madoff, and the 10 percent returns he thought he was getting on his investments with Madoff outweighed the eight percent interest the Mets would be paying on Bonilla's initial $5.9 million.
Liverpool are reportedly preparing a £60m bid for Inter Milan and Italy's Euro 2020 winning-midfielder Nicolo Barella, 24. (La Repubblica)
What sort of ITK levels are we talking here?
Also, what happened to the other Italian wonderkid who was a vague contemporary of Barella? Tonoli or something?
Sandro Tonali.
He played quite a lot for Milan (on loan) last year and was officially bought by them last week.
There's Zaniolo as well but he's another one with paper knees.
The guys around the club seem to reckon there wont be any more ins at Liverpool before there are outs. The big problem position was addressed in signing Konate, but there are some squad players about that could free up some much needed cash. They don't want to buy, then get stuck with a lot of deadwood collecting without being able to move them on.
Grujic could fetch £10-15m for example. There's also Harry Wilson. If we could fleece Bournemouth again that'd be great. There's also potential for Nat Phillips to move on for regular playing time.
Awoniyi replacing Origi would be nice for the novelty. Not sure I've seen him play but 5 in 21 last season (1 in 3 on mins) and he'd pass the Watford recruitment filters with flying colours.
Looks like Lokonga and White are done and almost there, respectively. Add Xhaka and Kolasinac’s departures and another decent midfielder and we’re challenging for ahem… 5th. Possibly. Maybe.
Saul definitely leaving Atletico by the looks of things. Some fans asked him to stay and he replied that "they're kicking me out".
I don't really watch enough of 'Atleti' to know if he's any good, and I probably mix him up with Koke in my mind anyway. Is he better than, say, Ruben Neves? The Barcelona/Griezmann swap rumours sound hilarious.
He was REALLY good but has fallen off over the last couple of years and dropped out of the Atletico team. He had/has some serious kidney problems which I suspect might be part of it.
Smith-Rowe is going to Villa didn't you hear? :harold:
Roman's not getting the toy he wants.
Just like Dembele wasn’t joining Barcelona eh
