The Vikings are the most consistently over rated team. I've never understood it.
Jake Elliot should try out for the Browns.
Calvin Ridley is good. PJ Williams isn't.
https://usatchiefswire.files.wordpre...0&h=600&crop=1
It's his turn today.
We look amazing without CJ Mosley :moop:
Although Kenny Young is a tackle machine.
Nice pick from Donte Jackson there (not James Bradberry, Scott Hansen)
Josh Allen :D
Never seen a QB hurdle.
Fucking hell Josh Allen
Josh Allen is fucking carving the Vikings up.
Football is great, isn't it?
Josh Allen stiff arming Anthony Barr after spinning out of a sack too. What a guy.
RIP 65% of every survivor pool.
That pass on the run by Mahomes was quality.
Packers offense is an absolute shit show. Best wepan today is punting from lol.
Adrian Peterson running all over the Packers. It's 2011.
Ridley has really come on strong after an awful week 1.
That's both Cam and CJ taking a TD away from CmC
Geronimo Allison dancing when they're 21-10 down. NFL players really are twats.
That might be two non-contact season ending injuries for 49er RBs before the end of week 3.
I just got a guy to agree to a him for Shady trade too. :panda:
Wilkerson looks done for the season.
The defense is so so bad already.
Peterson got another touchdown that easily wasn't but because it was called one on the field it stood.
Still though, 323 yards allowed in a half it hardly matters.
Ridley is having a breakout game.
Efe Obada (from the UK) got a pick in his first ever NFL game.
These rules on sacks are absolute bullshit. Make the players sign something and play the fucking game.
Officially elevating his status from Lord to KING Justin Tucker.
He's a kicker.
Peanut with a huge pick 6
I think the points will get taken off due to an illegal block though.
lol at the ref falling over in the Saints/Falcons game.
Saints forgetting to cover receivers against Jones and Ridley has been a bold strategy Cotton.
How do those two defenders fuck up a tackle on Brees who is basically giving himself up? Fucking hell.
Epic tackling from Atlanta.
:D
Drew
Perfect amount of time left to lose to a FG though.
I like how the commentator is saying it was a spin move from Brees.
He probably doesn't even know how to do one ffs.
Taking out Luck for the hail mary :sherlock:
Drew's basically Lamar Jackson.
Scenes if this is another tie
Kamara deserved that, he's been great today.
Edit: Coming back ffs.
Drew Brees with two rushing TDs might be even more shocking than Buffalo stomping the Vikings.
Jimmy G with a possible ACL tear it seems.
McKinnon & Jimmy G, plus they almost lost Breida earlier in the game. Not having much luck in San Francisco.
Garoppolo.
Wasn't he doing fairly shite this year anyway?
Did that idiot Chargers DB just run out with the interception and out of bounds at the 1? :D
Derwin James is such a beast.
Also worth pointing out that my boy Kyzir White has carved out a nice role for himself in the Chargers defence too. Just need Harold Landry & Duke Ejiofor to start racking up the sacks now.
They just broke the punter.
Fucking hell Antonio Gates is still playing. What is he, about 45?
I really hate them blowing offside/encroachment plays dead. Let the free play continue ffs.
Josh Rosen to make a 4th quarter comeback on his NFL debut
Wow they must hate Bradford.
I'm liking Earl 'Come and get me Jerry' Thomas shitting on the Cowboys here.
Rosen has that proper Eli Manning gormless look going on.
Yeah, he's gormless.
Weird set of results this week. Still, lol at the Patriots.
Dunno what happened the Vikings.
Never heard of Josh Allen before yesterday either.
Mayfield is in.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...g-weight-on-qb
Hayes tore his ACL whilst trying to avoid landing on the QB.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-torn-achilles
Atlanta have lost Ricardo Allen (their second starting safety) for the year.
Exactly.
It's also a bit far fetched to say he was injured trying to avoid landing on the QB, as shit as that new rule/directive is.
Jimmy G confirmed deceased.
No more forcing (or tempting) the quarterback to attempt a cut.
Wilkerson too.
Also, Rosen is the starter and Chiefs want Earl Thomas.
Jimmys was all on him. He had the yards and was going out of bounds. Went for a cut back to steal a few more and it went pop.
They should make a rule where the QB can declare ‘SCRAMBLE!’ when they want to run, then walk the ball to the point they think they would have got to.
Might be one just for @Foe & me, but Kelly Bryant is transferring after Clemson announced Trevor Lawrence as their starter.
Rishard Matthews has walked out on the Titans. He refuses to play when he's not targeted much or even on the field for large chunks.
Says he's on his couch until someone calls to get him off it.
Eric Reid has finally been signed. He’s gone to Carolina on a one year deal.
Kaepernick next, obviously.
Trevor Lawrence was the #1 recruit in the country so I'm not too surprised.
Yeah. Boys got all the skills so can't keep that under wraps and happy.
Two offences looking sharp so far. Lining up to be a great game.
I'd suggest that the Rams actually cover Aldrick Robinson.
Problem is, you then take someone off Diggs, Thielen or Rudolph.
Cracking game so far. Can't(I can really) believe there are empty seats.
Where are the weekly picks dammit?! (kidding)
Jesus, what a throw and catch.
All aboard the Pleb express. :moop:
Goff is fisting the Vikings.
If they stay healthy they're winning it all this year. I don't see a weakness.
Well that looks to have been a cracking game.
I just did the 13 minute Youtube highlights this morning, looked to be an exhibition of passing from both teams.
Great game, though.
Love a good shoot-out.
Xavier Rhodes did not look himself at all.
We've been given a 2 week lesson on how to beat the Vikings though.
Don't bother running and chuck it loads.
Knowing the NFL though, they'll play lights out defence next week against the Eagles...
The weekly pick'ems mason, where are they?!
And as if by magic, Clemson are down by 9 at home to Syracuse, Lawrence is knocked out the game and the third string freshman is in to run the show.
@Dan
Heck of a game. Lawrence got himself in trouble by not just throwing the ball away or running out of bounds, but fair play to Chase Brice, he stepped up on that last drive & made the big plays when he had to. I do find it odd when a backup QB comes in & every play becomes a run or a 2yd pass - if you don't trust the guy to make a throw downfield, why have you recruited him? Defence got it together in the second half, and the run game was crushing it - Feaster & Ettienne is a really underrated RB pairing in my opinion.
Georgia are going to kick the everloving shit out of Tennessee here. Florida humped them & Florida are 20% as good as Georgia.
We could see three full quarters of Justin Fields.
Yep. Brice looked pretty nervy but Ettiene and Feaster just ate up the defence. Syracuse were gassed. Clemson were 25.5 point favourites in that in the spread. Backed the Cuse to keep it close in my accumulator, but unfortunately, Texas Tech are getting romped so it's moot.
Penn State v Ohio State later should be great. Got that set to record, so that can be my entertainment before the NFL tomorrow.
Annoyingly the best game on ESPN player is Florida State at Louisville, so my dual TV effort this week is pretty rubbish.
Isaac Nauta
Tennessee are the college football Browns - every single thing they do is a complete mess & if they ever manage to do something right it still ends up going wrong.
EDIT: Random Naitch appearance
A forty-year-old man ragequit my fantasy league. Left the facebook group conversation and removed all his players.
Who should I try to pick up from his team?
My team:

His team:

P.s. I'm really enjoying being 3-0-0 with my AI auto-selected side
Fitz, Jones and Beckham are the only good options.
Rodrigo Blankenship
Jags defence is worth grabbing.
Shame on him for ruining the league though.
Corey Coleman has been released from the Patriots practice squad. He might have to sell his shoe collection to keep in money.
Really close game in the Ohio State / Penn State game.
Cool to see the whiteout too.
Trace McSorely is an intriguing guy. He's not tall, he's not thick and sturdy and yet he just seems to be a winner. Loves taking off and ploughing through the secondary too. Suspect he'll get drafted late/priority free agent by someone who fancies seeing if they can bulk him up a bit and have him as a backup. Doug Flutie showed us wee guys can succeed, but doubt a team will give up a day 1 or 2 pick on him.
Cobb being out is a blow. Though that's probably a sad reflection on the state of the offense currently.
He & McKenzie Milton are the next two off the short QB line in the next two drafts. I don't think either of them will end up going anywhere near where Baker went, but they can both play & they're both winners. I like Milton more than McSorley, but I definitely think they both deserve to get drafted & get an actual shot at a job.
Hopefully Allison & the rookies step it up, although you'd be surprised if Aaron Rodgers had a game like Cousins did against the Bills, so they could probably roll anyone out & still put points on the board.
God the Bengals D is fucking garbage.
Colts :harold:
Brady might actually be done.
Aaron Jones looks useful enough.
Khalil Mack is just so good.
Jimmy Graham handing Buffalo a turnover :face:
And here we go again with the refs.
We're getting Jameis after half-time here, I would imagine.
What a catch by Dorsett.
Don't show the replay, Don't show the replay, Don't show the replay.
*Shows replay*
Eifert's ankle just blew up.
Poor Tyler Eifert. That should really be him done now.
Jameis picked within 6 throws, I'm stunned.
Put Fitzmagic back in you nonces.
Welcome back Jameis :D
Dix just absolutely levelled Benjamin. Down like a bag of shite.
I'm expecting to go back after the break to some flags the way this year is going.
That was a great play. Made the interception too.
Rodgers had made some really poor throws today. Never gets called on it.
The Lions deserve to lose for letting Zeke rack up 200yds on them when he's their only good player on offence.
I hate the Raiders pitch so much.
Fuck baseball.
Luck
Atlanta
Their record continues to be shit when Julio goes over 100yds.
Here comes the Baker backlash...
What a shit call by the Browns that was.
Titans
How does Corey Davis catch that after dropping an open pass?
What a throw by Rosen.
That's a great throw by my boy Josh, but I'm not sure it's a TD.
Oh Hopkins, that's a drop for him.
The Chargers :harold: Turns out they're nothing without Bosa.
Georgia rookie RBs running wild today.
Clowney and Watt are mean.
I'm not surprised by Lynch's anger.
Some refs are far too quick to call forward progress dead.
Colts :harold:
Losing > tying it seems.
Yeah, I'm not a fan of that idea.
The whistle blowing and the Colts giving up the game for no reason.
Antonio Gates is so, so out of shape.
How on earth is he still playing? Looks like he should be an offensive lineman.
He's only playing because Hunter Henry blew out his knee.
Chargers cut him (and he had no offers) and they decided to pick him back up again.
The Saints have a ridiculous set of talent at QB.
Brees, Bridgewater and Taysom Hill. Taysom Hill could legit be listed as a RB, LB or QB on the depth chart. He's just a swiss army knife. Odd, given half his career at BYU was spent on the injury list. And he spent about 6 or 7 years in college too...
Martavis Bryant
As much as you have to lol at Martavis there, Derek Carr gives him the throw Tyrod gave Antonio Callaway last week & Goff gave Brandin Cooks the week before. Must have been about five yards short of where he needed to put it - Martavis had to come to a complete stop, turn around & try to pick it off the floor.
That roughing the passer penalty :face:
All for an undrafted free agent salary too I'd guess. I reckon a good proportion of his cash will be NFL performance related bonuses. He's in for a fair amount of snaps and on a low salary so should pick up some nice change.
Having google it a bit further I'd retract that. He'll get some, but it won't be a lot. Probably make up 10-15% of his earnings. Bit of a steal for a play maker.
Poor Josh Rosen :D Bobby Wagner is a meanie.
Browns QBs are 2-26-1 in their first starts for the team.
Only Hoyer and Jeff Garcia have had a winning debut
Browns QBs are amazing.
That's filthy from Davenport
2-27-1 for Browns QB's in their first start?
'Mon the fuck up, Baker
Earl Thomas broke his leg?
That's one way to avoid being traded to Dallas.
Apparently Earl Thomas gave the Seahawks fans the middle finger :rosebud:
Nick Mullins (who?) in for the Niners
Should've slid down. That was stupid.
Tedd Ginn is a mong, unfortunately.
Kamara :alan:
Kamara :drool::drool:
The fuck is Baker playing at there?
CJ Mosley is back in action tonight and Kenny Young impressed so much last week that he's starting alongside CJ.
Browns game has gone on so long that Redzone has had to cut off and leave it :p
Raiders
Browns were robbed on a first down late in the 4th that would have sealed the game too.
Not to mention the strip sack and recovery that they blew dead the millisecond Carr got touched.
Shhh, it was a clean uncontroversial victory.
Already a fucking trick play with Loomar in.
Just fuck off with this shit.
Flacco
Smoke
:alan:
What a fucking start.
I didn’t notice at the time, but Harold Landry came up with the sack fumble for the Titans yesterday. Just casually mugging off Lane Johnson, a top five OT in football
Famous Jameis back as starter.
What a knob Koetter is, he never believed in magic.
How the bollocks is there no parking at Wembley available to book bar for coaches or 'off-site' spots which are probably 30 minutes away?
Yet I can easily book parking for tomorrow for Spurs/Barcelona.
I wouldn't think many Spurs fans drive to the game, whereas I would imagine a lot of NFL fans would.
Either that or all of the car parks are given over to 'tailgating'.
Just seen that there's a safety in the 2019 class called Sheldrick Redwine :D
Also, fuck BT Sport ESPN for showing a Bayern game in the 5pm slot today instead of CFB.
Terrible slate of games today. Even on espn player the options were poor. No red river rivalry is a disappointment. Might watch lsu v Florida at half 8 though.
Tried to watch the bama game. Thought I was watching the kick off. Nope. Bama had 7 points after 30 seconds, which I missed.
South Carolina appear to be playing in a swimming pool rather than a football field.
Alabama beating Arkansas 64-24 :D Just put them in the playoffs already.
LSU cruising up the field to start the game
Texas knocking off Oklahoma too.
Opens up the top 4 again, post Ohio state and bama.
Clemson, Georgia, notre dame, penn state, lsu all in the hunt.
It's Alabama, Clemson, Georgia & Ohio State, and unless one of the others goes unbeaten I can't see that changing without something big happening. Oklahoma would've been 5 on my list til now, but now you're probably looking at LSU being there if they win this one.
Now I'm trying to think what my rankings would be :D
EDIT: Think I could just about cobble together a shaky top 20.
Toggle Spoiler
Clemson are one shaky game from Trevor Lawrence away from a loss so they are very lucky they play tat for the most part.
I hope notre dame / penn state are in the conversation by the end. Can't see anyone beating bama though. Best case would be the Clemson front seven snapping tua and jalen throwing a duck (again).
Georgia and Auburn seem like they've gotten worse this year. Wisconsin bottled it against BYU too, so they're gubbed.
West Virginia could take Clemson down, but they'd be completely dismantled by Georgia or bama or Ohio state.
At what point does saban get bored at bama though?
Or is he going to be content riding the tagovailoa name to another 3 or 4 rings?
Belichick will retire when Brady does, then Saban will take over & lead them to another decade of glory.
Didn't watch most of the second quarter, but if LSU have been moving the ball two yards at a time the way they have to start Q3 then it's no wonder they were trailing at half-time. Not sure why they've decided to go back to the 2017 Matt Canada offence that was a complete shitshow, but they need to fuck it off fast.
Seriously, do LSU only run jet sweeps, play action, inside runs or screens?
"My understanding is that Le'Veon Bell is expected to come back in a few weeks, and his focus right now is coming back for the Steelers and putting up numbers for them rather than another team," Rapoport said. "The Steelers have openly been trying to trade him. They've been receiving some phone calls, they've also been making some phone calls. No firm offers yet, but they have had some conversations.
"For Le'Veon Bell there would be some negatives there. He'd have to come in, learn the new offense, he may not exactly look like himself. My understanding is he would have to be convinced that being traded would be beneficial to him, and that is something he is not inclined to do. In other words, Le'Veon wants to be play for the Steelers this year."
Bell wants to play for the Steelers this year by not playing for them.
It's not like he has a choice though. If he doesn't play at all, then the cunts can just keep franchising him and not count this season. It's better for him to play in a system he knows to put himself properly in the 'shop window' and get maximum value as a free agent, then to be traded to the Jets and do fuck all and then try and negotiate a deal there.
He only needs to be there for 6 weeks to accrue his season. So he can come back week 7, when the steelers have a bye, only play 5 weeks and then either feign injury or walk and be a free agent the next year.
Can see why players like that do holdouts though. An earl Thomas injury or a matt Barkley acl and their career value is tanked. Particularly for a RB, no way Le'veon risks injury (more than he has to) until he gets paid what he's willing to accept.
I don't really get the rule though. Surely it should be if you're tagged and don't want to play you sit the season, get zero money and reach free agency. The deterrent being sacrificing a season. Seems mental that the league has the players so far over a barrel. The CBA really isn't that player friendly.
It's hard lines when Geronimo Allison is a loss.
I have Frank Gore as a flex in TTH Dynasty.
What could possibly go wrong?
Alex Collins is so good when he's not fumbling the ball.
Have the Steelers and/or Falcons woke up yet?
The Bills are leading a football game :|
Tavon Young
We love playing rookie QBs.
I suppose I should be used to the referees shafting Green Bay on a weekly basis by now.
The Giants :D
Amazing stuff.
Rodgers is either trying to get McCarthy fired or he's done.
The Steelers special teams coach looks like he's chewing a whole packet of gum.
Steel jaw.
Beckham should be the Giants QB.
Mason Crosby :D
Watching a man get cut, live.
Bortles :D
The fuck was that from Big Ben?
Fuck Denzel Ward.
It's fucking lol at this stage :D
Rodgers :face:
Bortles lobbing it at a lineman's head for the second interception :D
Not a good week to be facing the Chiefs D. Need some points on the board from the Jags.
ffs, I thought Buck Allen had sorted his fumbling issues.
We're losing this.
Brother Eli and Bortles are back.
I was so tempted to pick Buffalo, KC & Detroit this week :moop:
Packers went for two after the first two touchdowns. Crosby just hit the extra point attempt off the post no good after the third :D
This is some performance by Crosby.
He just crumbles if he misses a couple, doesn't he? :D
The Denver run defence appears to have gone on strike today.
Great when a kicker even misses the net.
Why are they letting Crosby take a 56 yarder? :D
Crosby misses another FG.
It's just kinda sad now.
Lol at Courtland Sutton ruining that half arsed Jets INT return at the 1
Barkley is an animal.
Nice from Gano.
Has the Ravens/Browns game been as much of a mess as it looks?
Running a reverse to ROD FUCKING STREATER inside their own red zone :D
Getting donned by some UDFA called Willies :uhoh:
That was nice by Wagner to tip the ball up.
He fucked the kick and still got it in :(
Suh was absolutely manhandled there.
It was nice winning the Superbowl.
1 yard line, Lynch in the backfield, interception in the end zone?
I'm feeling a touch of deja vu.
Derek Carr why you do dis :D
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-on-1yard-line
*chef kiss*Quote:
"My No. 1 goal is that I'm going to make sure that I give everything I have to this organization," Carr told reporters Friday at a news conference announcing his new contract. "There's no pressure, there's no, you know, we'll be on the 1-yard line and I won't give it to Marshawn -- I'll throw it. There's none of that stuff.
Lynch needs to hire Matt Asiata as his personal understudy and demand that teams sign the pair of them together.
If I was literate I could have wrote this. Well maybe with a bit less of the letting Rodgers off the hook completely.
https://www.theringer.com/platform/a...-aaron-rodgers
Jay Ajayi has hit IR with a torn ACL. The surprising story here is that he's already been playing with an injury I wasn't aware of. Just a casual fractured back.
A fracture in his back and apparently he played on with his ACL injury. Crazy.
Two broken vertebrae and he kept playing, fuck.
Also Pleb will be happy to know that Jamaal Charles is back in the league after signing with the Jaguars.
Barkley is insane. Makes this look easy.
Barkley aside, this has been very very ugly for the Giants. It's definitely time for a new QB.
Some of the things Saquon can do are unbelievable. He might already be the best RB in the league, and the Giants might have outsmarted us all by still being shit & having a realistic shot at Justin Herbert in the draft.
Then again, he might not declare & then they’re going to be in trouble :D
He's going to break the record Hunt did last year. He's incredible.
The other notable thing from this is that Beckham seems to be very pissed about not being the guy any more. He had another falling out with another sideline object.
They seemed to only use him as a slot receiver pretty much, but at least until they get a new QB in, they should absolutely continue sending everything through #26.
Browns have signed dildo fingers Perriman.
@Dan did you record/watch any of the college stuff yesterday?
Georgia were struggling against LSU in the first half from what I saw and a good PAC 12 game in Oregon against the Huskies.
Love the Oregon luminous yellow uniforms. Looks class.
Forgot about Michigan v Wisconsin too. Oooft.
Nah, I was out yesterday so missed it. Will have to take a look at the LSU/Georgia game for sure, and those other two you mentioned should be good too.
—
Anyone going to Wembley today or next week?
EDIT: Just watching LSU/Georgia now - Georgia started off nasty, just running the ball over & over again for big chunks of yardage. Also, gotta love Hot Rod on the fake
Georgia passing game was all over the place in the first half, and LSU had two or three huge plays on offence that were just sloppy defence.
Georgia's receivers have been letting Jake Fromm down here. Loads of drops, and Terry Godwin just let the ball get taken away from him for the first INT. Fromm's not been perfect - he's had a handful of throws that have been nowhere near the receiver - but he could really use some help. Demetris Robertson bobbling the ball on the flea flicker gets added to the list.
I like Elijah Holyfield. Swift gets most of the hype, but Holyfield could be a pretty solid day three guy in the draft this year. The LSU guys are both pretty good too, as is their WR Jefferson.
Proper SEC game, that.
I am going to all 3.
Whereabouts are you sitting? Think I'm probably around the redzone somewhere from a quick look at a seating plan.
3hr+ journey though so I'm leaving at 1 to hopefully get there for 4:30 - Jess Glynne is the pre-show act as well
203 block.
I'm aiming to get there for about 3:30. I'm driving in and had to book a nearby driveway due to them not letting people park in the multi-storey.
Yea, I'm always there. Been in the same seats for a number of years now, on the lower tier (but near the top of it) behind one of the end zones. Great view to be fair, but obviously better when they are attacking our end.
The 6pm kick off is fucking shit, though IIRC I think they showed some of red zone on the big screens last time we had one which would be cool. Much prefer the earlier games though.
I was behind the end zone for Saints / Chargers I think it was and wasn't keen but it's probably just like like the football and it depends where the action happens to be.
I sat near the half way line for the Twickenham game and I didn't like it as much. I prefer being able to see the plays from the direction they are going in, rather than side on. Even when the action is up the other end, I tend to be able to have a clearer view of where the open guys are than when I'm trying to view it side on. There is definitely an argument for both though. I doubt there's a truly bad seat in Wembley, other than maybe up the very top.
Me and my brother-in-law were in the highest possible seats for the very first Wembley game. It was still a decent enough view even if it was pretty far away. It was absolutely pising down though so at least we weren't in the rain. Also being right at the back meant that while we were buying double rounds of beer we had a little concrete shelf behind us to put them on.
While chanting "There's only one Cleo Lemon" to try and get some atmosphere going.
I was in the top block (middle ish though) last year and it was still great. Wobbly knees when I first got to my seat but the views were great.
Just looked up some of the scores. It really it completely wide open after Alabama. You’d still have to put Ohio State & Clemson ahead of the others, and I’d still have Georgia there too, but after that you’ve got about 20-30 teams that can all beat each other at random.
I’d imagine we’re going to see Notre Dame top four now, with LSU maybe even coming all the way up to five & Georgia dropping to six. I’ll take a guess at the rankings.
Toggle Spoiler
I reckon 15 and down is out of it. UCF need to be mauling every team they play to have a chance, and beating Memphis by 1 won't do them any good. Even if they go undefeated, I don't think they make it because of their SoS.
Ohio State and Clemson have it all to lose at this point. Avoid in-conference slip ups (which they probably should do) and they're in.
Number 4 is a complete toss up. Notre Dame could legit be undefeated, but again, it'll depend how comfortably they win their games. They struggled past Pitt today. Feel like LSU / Georgia will have to win the SEC championship game to stand a chance. Bama can afford to lose it and still get in I think, they're just blowing teams out, so even if they have a close L on the record they'll still come in at Number 1, 2 or 3.
The next 3 weeks will decide whether Georgia are legit or not (I don't think they are, I think they've lost too much talents at RB, their OL/DL isn't as good and Roquan Smith is a big missing). They've got Kentucky, Florida (who beat LSU) and a shaky Auburn (who beat Washington).
LSU has Miss State, Bama and A&M. Win 2 out of 3 of those and they have a shot at making the top 4. A&M are a good team, under-rated at 22. Penn State have fucked it, losing to Notre Dame and Michigan State means they're out. Pac 12 teams have also fucked it. Oregon need to run the table and win the Pac 12 - which they could do and then their only loss would be against Stanford. Washington are going to struggle given the loss to Auburn, who have looked poor since, and now Oregon. Even if they win the Pac 12 they'll struggle.
CFP will be great debate this year.
I think it’s probably the top six on my list plus Oklahoma that are going to be competing for the playoffs.
Georgia definitely haven’t lost enough talent at RB for it to be an issue - DeAndre Swift is a top back in the 2020 class & Elijah Hollywood is plenty good enough to play at the next level too, not to mention Brian Herrion who isn’t bad either. It’s not quite Chubb/Michel, but it’s still one of the top five backfields in college I’d imagine.
Yeah I'm probably doing them a harsh criticism. It's probably the OL. Michel and Chubb seemed to be able to just chunk plays out of nothing, but from what I saw of the LSU game the tigers were just winning the trenches.
The boy Delpit is legit at LSU though. He's a freshman too, so has another two years of eligibility.
Yeah, I think I’ve checked a couple of times to see if he was in this class. He should be a first rounder when he does come out.
It’s amazing to me that Wembley has no bins outside the stadium. I walked halfway around the stadium to my gate holding an empty cup of coffee & just had to dump it at the gate in the end :cab:
Also had to LOL at the sign on the security scanner saying not to remove coins or your belt then getting grumbled at when my coins & belt set the alarms off twice.
:D
EDIT: small letters.
He’s such a pro :D
Apparently Arizona are willing to trade Pat P, Reddick & Deone Bucannon. Like their defence needs to get any worse.
Just copped BBC2 flicking through the channels. I thought Wembley was next week.
Next three weeks in a row.
A kickoff show? What is this? Superb Owl?
She's manure too.
The sound guy needs sacking.
Patty P to the Eagles please!
Next rumour is that Oakland are shopping Amari :D
Can we have Chris Carson please?
Wembley's pitch never normally looks this bad.
The boxing stuffed it right up. Didn't it piss it down during that?
Kolton Miller getting schooled by Frank Clark so far, and Jaran Reed is having a productive game. All Seattle so far & the Oakland O-Line looks to have holes all over the place.
Mayfield getting absolutely manhandled by the Chargers.
Roethlisberger catching passes from himself. For -1 yards.
Been quite satisfying seeing the Raiders absolutely suck.
Seems to be a load of Raiders fans over here and they seem like loudmouth fucks so hopefully Russell smashes them (by handing the ball off please for fantasy reasons, 2 TDs is plenty knobhead).
Another London shutout game in the making. The Raiders are garbage.
The Oakland line has done a good job at making Seattle’s garbage line look like a solid unit so far.
Jaran Reed & Frank Clark are dominating this game.
Have the Raiders completed a pass that’s gone more than 5 yards in the air? They’ve been abysmal so far, and a false start on a punt just sums their day up.

Got a lot of time for whatever the fuck that is.
Colors and logo look like Iowa State. No idea why they have dinosaurs though.
Glad Foe was able to confirm.
Pickterman is back.
That Steelers drive was a thing of beauty.
Was there not supposed to be snow in Denver?
Love seeing all those mouthy Bears blowhards back in their box for a week.
That Jaguars kit is brutal looking.
So is the scoreline.
Got back about 30 minutes ago (would have been sooner but I went the wrong way out of the stadium and it was pissing it down hard), didn't enjoy it as much as the Ravens/Jags game for possibly a number of reasons. It was a miserable day compared to last year, I was suffering with flu, the game sucked, Oakland were pathetic (Ravens were too but I had rose tinted glasses on) and I was pissed off at the way they organised the tailgate (the shop closing at 3:30 because it was unsafe? Fuck off, the system last year was better).
Oh and there was a woman in front of me who was pretty much an exact replica of my Mum, I can tolerate my Mum but she was a nightmare with her boyfriend who looked like Jonathan Slavin but more rat like.
The second Seahawks TD was fucking brilliant (all hail Wilson) but the Raiders were crap, especially the O-Line which looked like a revolving door.
8 sacks, the Titans are getting dicked on and it's beautiful.
McGregor swaggering around as a guest of that supercunt Jerry Jones. The only NFL team I have a particular soft spot for is the Browns, but I now have a very definite least favourite team.
They cut the only decent guy they had at the beginning of the season.
Alex Lewis down after taking a shot to the head. Went down in a heap and surrounded by about 20 medical staff. Looked bad.
Lol at the Titans stats today. Five plays total in the Ravens half. Three went for losses and one was a punt.
Did Fox just flash up "Safety" and add 2 points to the Rams on the scoreboard when Thomas pulled in that touchdown pass? :D
I mean, in that game position it could scarcely have been less wrong.
Yeah, the last two I've been to are this & Saints/Dolphins, which would've been worse to watch if the Saints hadn't won 20-0. Watching Kolton Miller get beaten every way imaginable & trying to keep count of the number of times George Fant reported as an eligible receiver were the only two things giving me any entertainment for most of the game.
The fact that the 'Man of the Match' choices were Wilson, Baldwin & Lynch was disgraceful. Frank Clark & Jaran Reed dominated that game.
Wembley was alright today and it was decent that there was actually an atmosphere for once with everyone seemingly supporting the Seahawks, but I still don't like the 6pm kick offs. At least the other 2 are at reasonable times.
Also it's the first time in all the times I've been that I've been annoyed by the service waiting to get food. Normally it's amazingly quick considering the crowd size and I can get there and get back well within half time, but I missed some of the 3rd quarter due to being served by a complete moron. I'm sure he gave away £27 worth of food to the guy in front of me for free too, and if he didn't, it was more through luck than judgement.
£27? So a burger & a beer then? :harold:
I liked how they were charging £6.20 for a 330ml bottle of Budweiser at the food stands when there were beer stands ten yards away selling pints on draught for £6.50 (that tasted like shit).
6pm appeases the yanks I guess.
Did they really close the stores 2 and a half hours before kick off?
If so I'm kinda glad I got there at half 4 & spent most of my time before heading in queuing for a piss in Costa.
He ordered 2 portions of chicken and chips and 2 beers. The guy hands him the 2 portions of chicken/chips and he passes one back to his mate. The guy then returns with the 2 beers, so that should be all good... but then he looks down at the 1 portion of chicken and chips on the counter and assumes he forgot 1, so gives them a third. The guys then both leave with their sneaky 3rd portion, and he tells me he'll be back in a minute and returns with a crate of beers that he starts unloading slowly into the fridge which the woman behind me was not amused by. He then returns to me with 2 beers in hand, which I quickly realise are for the blokes that have already left because the moron didn't realise they already had them. To top it off when he goes to charge me for mine he says it's £27 which he then had to cancel when he realised it was the previous order... so I don't think they actually paid at all, just a shame they didn't stick around and get 2 more beers.
:D
It must be hard trying to keep on top of a thousand consecutive burgers & beers, to be fair.
Yes.
I was there at 3:30 and was told that they're closing them because it was unsafe. They had one long queue (which morphed into a cluster fuck of a crowd) to go into a medium sized tent.
I went to a merchandise stand in the stadium but it was fucking rammed (no queue just an invading horde) and the woman in front of me took the last 2 scarves :(
Food service was shocking, every truck in the tailgate had at least 30 minute queues.
They were trying to push everyone in there (last season they had more outside) and the queues were shorter. I walked away a BBQ truck by the Nike shop for having too long a queue but it was half the length of anything in the tailgate.
Also I nipped to the loo just before the two minute warning, missed pretty much nothing and had fuck all queue.
That'd have been me pissed off had I went. I don't like turning up to places early so I'd have completely missed the store tent.
I've only been to the Rams v Giants at Twickenham but it seemed to cope alright. The store being built into the Stadium probably helped with that. I didn't even go in until after the game and there was a fair amount of stuff left. Even then I was being hurried by mates to just pick something and go.
They had it set up perfectly during the Ravens/Jags game last year so this was really strange.
The wait was a bit long but you got to browse a catalogue and then when you got to the cashier it would take like 2 minutes.
Alex Lewis has been released from hospital and will travel back with the team.
Looking good.
The AFC East looks fucking tight :|
Chiefs v Patriots last night was some game. Mahomes' arm probably needs to be registered as part of the US nuclear arsenal. Fuck me he can throw.
This is probably my favourite of his deep balls:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5eaQ82lFnc
On the run and throwing off his back foot yet still has more than enough on it.
Tyreek Hill (probably the fastest player in the league) must love him to bits.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTlw2yUt8xA
This says 100 but looks more like 80 and he looks like he's barely trying.
A poor man's JaMarcus Russell.
Seahawks owner has apparently died.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...r-amari-cooper
The Raiders have had some conversations about potentially trading him," Rapoport reported on The Aftermath. "My understanding is that they have asked for a first-round pick in exchange for Amari Cooper.
:harold:
Maybe two seasons ago, now they'd be lucky to get a fourth.
I don't know, I'd like to see what an actual above-average QB would make of him.
How is it that Breida, who is built like a 16 year old, always seems to be fine with his injury scares.
WE WANT MORRIS.
I done fucked up.
I signed up for a free trial to gamepass (I think my 7th free trial this season) so I could take a shit and keep watching Redzone.
The very next morning they charged me and so far they're refusing to cancel and refund it :(
I just bought the cheap game pass. Like £40 for red zone and all the games on demand but not live.
I would have done that had I thought the unlimited free trials was golden.
Anyone mentioned Nick Bosa leaving Ohio state? @Dan
Big loss for Ohio state that. Obviously doesn't at all trust the medical staff at the university not to rush him back onto the field.
Yeah, saw that on the way home. That's the top two players in this draft already declared. It's a bit rubbish as an Ohio State fan, but what does he have left to prove? He's going #1 almost regardless of what happens, so why risk coming back & getting hurt?
Exactly this. Unless Justin Herbert / Will Grier comes out as a complete stud in the draft process and a QB needy team are at the top he's going right up there. Ed Oliver doesn't look like as much of a NFL player in stature at the moment, Bosa is huge and lean where as Oliver I reckon there's a good bit of development in stature available - particularly after being at a relatively 'small' school in Houston.
Shame for College Football as it probably dents Ohio State's chances of taking down Bama. Bosa smashing Tua early in the game was probably their best shot if they meet.
Listening to a podcast at the minute & one of the guys was at the Houston game this week & reckons Ed is 6ft 1in, 275lbs. That’s obviously small, but he’s so strong, so athletic & so good that I don’t think it’s going to make a difference. He’s the second best player in the class regardless of who else declares, but he might end up in the 5-10 range if teams do get a bit scared by his size.
This draft has the potential to be disgusting if you need a defensive lineman or a tight end. All the QBs have looked a bit shaky other than Herbert, so we could end up with Dwayne Haskins taking a chance & declaring now to avoid the Tua/Fromm/Eason class.
Cardinals.
Fucking hell.
Rosen throwing a pick 6 on his first throw, lol.
Mike McCoy needs to be sacked for hating David Johnson.
Emmanuel Sanders > Rosen.
This is deeply crap from Rosen.
His reads are so bad.
Aikman is being kind because Rosen went to the same college as him.
I thought the Cardinals might punt Mike McCoy after this but they could fire any combination of their coaches.
Deary me. This is embarrassing.
Since I started paying attention to the NFL I don't think I've seen a starter have as bad a time as Rosen is having right now.
If this game was being contended between a couple of under eleven sides someone would have called a halt to it out of sympathy for the Cardinals.
Rosen’s always been vulnerable to giving up the ball on blindside pressure, but he was unlucky with the pick sixes - one was a tip & J.J. Nelson just stopped on his slant on the second. Not seen his full performance, but he’s better than his stat line in this one.
I didn't realise the Cardinals were that bad but I assume they're chronic if they're getting a bumming off Denver.
No he wasn’t, the safety had come down in man over Larry, was trying to go round Nelson to cover Fitz & JJ just froze as he thought he was going to have to take a hit.
Rosen probably didn’t read the late movement, but if Nelson runs his route like he’s meant to he’s at least going to challenge for the ball & stop it being picked off.
Anyway, apparently Rihanna turned down the SuperBowl half-time show in support of Kaepernick, so now it’s fucking Maroon 5 :D
Maroon 5 were announced weeks ago.
Their live execution would make a good halftime show purely for that fucking Hyundai ad during the World Cup.
.
Hyde traded to the Jags for a fifth round (why is Chubb claimed in every fucking fantasy league I'm in?) and Mike McCoy (Falcons OC) has indeed been fired.
Cards will instantly be about 5 times better if they get someone in who doesn't hate David Johnson.
My work league for some reason has just allowed me to add Chubb and drop Royce Freeman. Fuck it I'll go with it.
After I did that I've broken the news in the whatsapp group like a true troll. I'll wait for them to figure that out.
Lynch is also out for a month and Doug Martin is unavailable in the only league I'm desperate for RBs because some nonce is hoarding everyone.
:moop:
Is Hyde likely to play on Sunday? I'm starting Yeldon in one league but don't want to bother if it's some sickening committee.
Well I didn’t see that coming, but
It’s a big shit on Fournette & Yeldon though. Not sure why they felt they needed to make that move when Yeldon has been productive & Charles is an adequate backup.
Seems he wont be active and if he is he'll get fuck all work as he doesn't know the playbook obviously.
It's a strange trade because he wont play this week and Fournette is meant to be back after their bye. So a 5th rounder and a hefty cap amount for what could be a 1 game and done thing.
Only reason I can think is that they don't trust Fournette to come back when he is expected. Or they don't think he'll stay back when he does. Big vote of no confidence on Yeldon though.
Anyone know of somewhere near the stadium that wont be jammed with traffic? My Mum is working in London tomorrow so offered to give me a lift and pick me up after.
Alabama game going the same way as usual @Foe
EDIT: Ohio State :moop:
Pryor has been released and Burfict has been fined $112k for various dirty hits against the Steelers.
Doesn’t sound good for Melvin today. Supposedly pulled up after a 30 yard sprint in the warm up.
Oh fuck off.
I’ll be keeping an eye on Harold Landry & Derwin James today, especially now there’s no Melvin.
I just hope it’s more competitive than last week.
Fucking hell, I think I'd kneel if I had to hear that national anthem before every game. God awful.
Ours or theirs?
One thing I noticed on that opening drive was that the Chargers put a lot of players at the line of scrimmage. Not sure if that’s down to the formations the Titans were in, as they were quite tightly packed, or if it’s just the way the run their defence, but I guess that’ll become clearer as the game goes on.
Derwin narrowly missing the breakup on the Dion Lewis catch but he’s been right at the line almost every play so far.
EDIT: Another blowout then :D
Yeah, they’ve both been flops, but even worse than that they’ve been decent enough flops that they might get second deals & continue to hold their teams back, but take up far more cap.
Yeah, there’s probably a case to be made that Dak might be in that territory as well. Looks like Miami might be about to give Tannehill the boot though, or else he’d be another.
Dak was a 4th rounder though so he's cheap as fuck. You've got to use those first 4-5 years to build a team capable of winning with the extra cap space. Jags gave it a go last year, but with bortles salary jumping they let the wideouts walk. The Browns really should be throwing money in free agency this year to build around baker.
Has it been good for the people watching on TV? I don’t think anyone has stood out as playing particularly well so far, except maybe Dion Lewis.
Sounds like the college game is coming back here in a couple of years. Lining up Notre Dame and Navy for 2020.
That's a big grandaddy balls of a playcall there from Tennessee. Nice one.
EDIT: Jesus, they're going for two :|
The tension at the end made it much better. The Chargers scoring on 2 bombs then doing not much after, followed by Titans taking 10 mins per drive and it only ending in field goals, made it a bit of a drab game, but could have been worse.
No idea why you throw it so much on the goal line though.
The Texans sent Deshaun Watson 12 hours by bus to protect his ribs from the air pressure of flying. And then start him in an NFL game :cab:
At least he's not playing the leagues best defence with a point to prove.
I know they're not blessed with receivers and it remains to be seen if Mayfield is anything more than a showman mouthpiece, but the Browns offense is painfully conservative.
Great ending in Wembley and the best I've seen live.
Almost melted in the first half as the sun was right in my face though.
Chargers fans are much better than Hawks too.
Oh and lol at Bottles.
Panthers
I really wanted that Reid interception to win it though.
Thielen can tie Megatron's record next season.
National Overtime League
What a try by the Bears, inches out.
That was too close from New England.
10 minute opening drive for nothing, incredible.
Those cunts deserved nothing more. Not a single catch for Thomas? Fuck off.
Browns be Browning.
This Browns/Bucs overtime period is gloriously bad.
Well, that spoiler that.
What a kick.
Lord Justin Tucker
Would that have been a TD had the two Rams not got in each others way? The commentators didn't seem to mention it at all.
Two blocked punts by Littleton already this year? Mad.
If Woods and Thomas can score less than 10 points from here it's about as best as I could hope for.
Fuck Michael Thomas.
Tucker
I feel sick.
Also, why are Sky showing women's Rugby sevens instead of red zone?
Well Cowboys losing has made me feel better.
3 first rounders for Oakland/Vegas in 2019 now.
Amari to the Cowboys  They actually paid a first rounder? More like Dallol Cowboys.
Sounds like Patrick Peterson has requested a trade too.
Get in there Philly.
Eagles were supposedly there offering a 2nd rounder. I can kind of see it, but we need a deep threat.
Talk was we were in for Patrick Peterson, and were his preferred destination, but what we’ve ended up with is Eli Apple :moop: 2019 fourth & 2020 seventh, apparently.
Rishard Matthews has replaced Terrelle Pryor at the Jets, and Chad Kelly, who was likely to get a shot at the Broncos QB gig this season, has been charged with first degree criminal trespassing :face:
What an arse if he's done something like that. Didn't he get into bother for something or other while at college?
Yeah, I think so. Might have been why he went to JuCo (EMCC of Last Chance U fame) actually.
If Peterson is available we should be seriously moving pieces to grab him.
Difference is corner is our biggest flaw by far. Given how open the NFC East is, I could see us giving up a 1st to get him. Could be the difference this year.
It’s officially tanking season - the Giants have now shipped Damon Harrison to the Lions for a fifth rounder.
They've got a ways to go, to get to Gruden levels of tanking.
What a moron.
They reckon Bilal Powell is done.
Wow, that sucks for him. I’d seen he was going on IR but didn’t realise it was that bad.
5 games from 2020.
https://www.rte.ie/sport/us-sport/20...urn-to-dublin/
This has been a half of absolutely awful officiating.
Does anyone know the current odds for Comeback Player Of The Year?
I bet on Edelman (28/1) a few months ago and since then they’ve removed the market from Skybet.
It's sure to be Luck, assuming he doesn't drop off. Missed the whole of last season and he's currently second in the league for TD passes.
Clemson absolutely tearing apart Florida state here.
Trevor Lawrence is throwing it so damned hard. Shame his receivers keep dropping it. The Clemson D-Line is something else though.
Flolrida State.
:huhu:
They're garbage.
Not a great weekend for college football in Florida.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/american-football/46008877
Good start to the trip.
How do you run up a tab worth 50k in a night? Why are they even out that late so close to a game? I understand they might be jet lagged but keep them in the hotel.
Barry Church, Ronnie Harrison, DJ Hayden & Gerard Wilson, apparently.
No idea who Gerard Wilson is, but the other three are DBs, so describing it as King Kong v Godzilla seems a bit much.
EDIT: He's actually called Jarrod Wilson, lol. Great work checking your info, news sites.
The Bucs :harold:
That 2nd Winston pick was laughable. Just literally lobbed it to the Bengals.
Of course I'm playing Mixon this week. Goes in untouched from inside the 10, twice!
Just got back from Wembley.
Surprised by the amount of Eagles fans (it felt like their home game and not a Jags one).
Wentz looked great (bar the pick), him getting out of a sack from Calais Campbell by ducking was great. Bortles on paper had a decent game but he looked nervy as fuck, there were a few passes which looked like they were thrown by a 16 year old kid with cerebral palsy.
Really surprising that there were so many boxes sold, I'm right in front of them and they're usually busy but today they were heaving.
Also, I was stunned that they went for it. They had 2 timeouts and there was still 3:41 on the clock. They should have punted it and trusted the defence to get a stop with time left (which I feel they would have done), although I guess Josh Adams was shitting on them on the ground.
Oh and the block for Smallwood's (IIRC) TD was absolutely incredible.
Panthers with some very clever play design there to get that FG in time.
How does about half of the Bengals defence fail to stop Humphries there?
Fucking lol at the Steelers.
One player signals fair catch but leaves it and then the returner leaves it too.
That's outstanding :D Even more shocking is that it was happening in a Browns game & they weren't the ones making the fuckup.
Kareem :alan:
He's officially Kareem the Dream again after the last few weeks.
I always am stunned when teams fuck up like the Steelers did. No one chased back even after they left it, no one clocked it was a live ball still. Ridiculous considering it's now cost them 7 points.
That must have been the worst series of football anyone has ever played from the Steelers - cock up a free kick, get almost an entire field of penalty yards & give up a TD (while getting flagged again).
Greg Joseph
That looked like Sanders might have broken his wrist.
Don't know why I assumed when it's the Browns kicking an XP...
Nothing more infuriating in Fantasy than seeing your RBs team on the 1 yard line and give it to him once in about 6 plays.
The skins need to get their finger out and pull clear here. I need some buffer points,
If Jameis gets another deal in Tampa Bay it'll be an outrage.
Winston is just the same every week - garbage yards, a long TD to Evans or Jackson which pads stats, but multiple picks early on when the game is in the balance. He hasn't learnt anything about ball security since being drafted.
The only thing keeping my in my work league matchup is him having played Landry and Njoku.
I look forward to both now scoring.
Fitzmagic to return for the rest of the season
Good to see famous Jameis back.
Fitzmagic :alan:
Seahawks punter meant to do a safety but runs 9 yards for a first down
What a guy.
Fitzmagic is a beautiful man.
Also, who will the Giants be taking first to put Brother Eli out of his misery?
For. Fuck. Sake.
Fitzmagic is real.
That Howard TD gives me a chance. Fitzmagic lives.
Fitz
Why would you ever put Jameis back in? Also, such a typical Bengals choke. They'll lose this in OT now.
Mo Alie-Cox? Who?
Can the Bucs please actually defend?
Elite freudian slip there
Bucs defence didn't believe enough, pricks.
If Fitz started, Bucs win that.
That was the most Bucs thing in Tampa Bay history.
That LA sports equinox thing seems fucking mental.
5 different home games (NHL, NFL, NBA, MLS, MLB) in LA today.
That must be a nightmare for police.
I imagine there's likely to be less trouble when the nice policeman might well shoot you for causing trouble, as opposed to shouting "Calm down mate! Or I'll use a Section Notice and you'll have to disperse"
Black people should probably stay away from LA too.
Nervy racist policeman with guns doesn't make for a fun day.
I'm watching the 49ers v Cards game out of Fantasy interest. For someone who looked salty as fuck at having dropped into the teens pick wise, Rosen has looked nothing but timid.
On a side note, it's irritating to see that the play breaks down every time he looks to the guy I want. 2 sacks whilst staring at him and 1 pick with a shit throw.
I really don't like him.
He makes too many utterly stupid decisions.
Caards/Niners is thrilling stuff.
Carr is looking good here.
David Johnson up the middle for 1 yard. Oh well that didn't work but I bet they wont expect me to try it again!
That fumble by Gresham :D
Rosen
Fuck Rosen.
Kirk
Jaire Alexander is brilliant.
What a way to lose that.
Sack the center.
Packers shitting the bed.
Rodgers probably wants to knock Montgomery out.
Wow why would you even take it out of the end zone with Rodgers ready to go and the offence dealing with LA pretty well?
That catch by Thielen was fucking mental.
He can't be more covered than that one on one.
Edit: Williams must be thinking what more can he do.
Looks like PJ Williams got abused by the Vikings - he was in coverage on basically every Vikings play in the highlights, but at least he got the pick six.
Hue Jackson is finally gone.
Stunned he lasted as long as he did.
Apparently the browns have fired their last 6 coaches immediately after their 2nd game with the Steelers, so guess they had to hold on.
They do love a streak.
They should 100% go in for Lincoln Riley this summer. In the meantime, they’re fucked - Todd Haley & Gregg Williams would both be just as bad as Hue.
Haley is gone too I think.
Yup. Jackson and Haley both confirmed gone.
The defence has actually been pretty decent bar the Raiders game so I don't imagine a big shake up there.
Jackson came across as such a wholly unimpressive person in Hard Knocks. Don't know how he lasted this long.
Fitzmagic is BACK.
Josh Gordon will miss about a quarter tonight after being late a couple of times this week. Not great for a guy with his track record.
ffs.
Luckily I only need 3 or more from him tonight in fantasy.
He didn't even miss the whole of the first series.
2 at Wembley and 2 at Spurs next season.
A shame really. Spurs stadium is going to cut the number of attendees down 25k each game. I bet they'll be pricks and put the good games there too.
Probably.
I'm not sure what to do next year.
3 in consecutive weeks was a little too much for me personally so I'm not going to everything (unless it's more spaced out). Probably end up going to both Wembley games but not sure if I should do a Spurs one too, might skip this year and see what people say about it.
Also, I have a season ticket for Wembley but I'd like to change my seat (want a bit more central), is that easy to do? Or do I end up having to give my ticket up and then hoping I luck out?
I'm sure Browning did it, if I remember right?
Also it's trade deadline day. 5 hours to go. Some of the names rumoured to be traded today. Shady McCoy, Golden Tate, Haha Clinton-Dix, Demaryius Thomas and DeSean Jackson. Patrick Peterson would be a big shock, but the Cardinals have few star players left as it is.
No trades yet, but Dominique Rogers-Cromartie has retired, Mychal Kendricks has been suspended 8 games & Kyle Lauletta has been attested after almost twatting a cop. Lucky he’s white, really.
Demaryius Thomas to the Texans apparently.
Yep, it’s being reported as done now. Makes sense given their receivers are all dead. Be interesting to see what the value is - I’d imagine it’s something like a 4th or 5th rounder.
EDIT: Just seen it - 4th round pick & a swap of 7th rounders. Seems about right.
Good for Courtland Sutton I guess.
Eagles get Golden Tate. Yes Howie!
As if Spurs are ever going to finish that stadium.
Not sure he was what they needed.
I'd thought it was for cheap to be fair. But a 3rd rounder goes their way.
Hopefully we're not done as we really, really need corner help.
Has anyone taken than Clinton Dix shitcunt yet?
Not yet. Just under 2 hours to go.
Eagles have two, second round picks next year so I can see why we gave up the third rounder.
Yeah, Jordan Matthews, Tate & Agholor can't all play in the slot, but I'll give Philly the benefit of the doubt given how successful they've been at roster construction since Howie took over.
Tate is just more reliable, pretty good trade in my opinion. His YAC is insane and he's got better hands that the other two. I'm also selfishly hoping it's a success for fantasy football implications.
The more I think the more I get it. We're struggling for big plays downfield this year now we've no Torrey Smith and Hollins and Wallace are dead. So why not bring in one of the, if not the best, yards after catch guy.
Matthews will probably be cut, or mostly sit and they might try Agholor as the outside of a 2 on a 3 receiver set. Add in Ertz and Goedert and we have a very potent passing attack.
Ty Montgomery has been punished by being sent to Baltimore. No one deserves that.
Not sure what the point of that is.
Collins is fine if he sorts his fumbling out and Allen is a good pass catching back.
We need someone brilliant (draft one early next year please) but Montgomery is not that.
Dante Fowler to the Rams.
What you need is to draft 7 more tight ends.
Ah yes because the only undefeated team left needed to get better.
And the Bills just managed to get worse.
Or did you mean this?
Pickterman
We've released Albert McClellan (MLB) for Montgomery so we're rolling with 4 RB's on our roster for now.
Bills have signed Matt Barkley
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...&sf201369522=1
Nick Mullens (no idea) is starting tonight for the Niners.
Mullens to Garcon isn't too shabby.
Well this was unexpected.
Time to trade Jimmy G?
Both of our starting tackles are out of tomorrows game :\
Cardinals just cut Bradford.
Gets them a 6th round comp pick, and takes away a 3rd round comp pick from Minnesota. Ended up getting around $13m of a $40m contract, but that's alright for three games.
That run from D'Andre Swift
No way he doesn't clear waivers. The bills could do a lot worse.
I've opted for Michigan v penn state instead which is on bt sport 3.
Pretty lop sided.
Actually fuck it. I'm done with cfb for tonight. Will watch bama vs lsu tomorrow
If he gets picked up they'll have to take his contract too, but yeah, that's probably more than worth it for Buffalo. I'm seriously tempted to see my birthday in watching Alabama/LSU, but I think I'll probably fall asleep before the game ends so maybe that's not a great plan.
I suspect they'll let him clear waivers and then try and grab him as a free agent.
Happy bday.
Also. Record it. I'm going to watch it with my weetabix tomorrow.
Raiders have released Bruce Irvin now too.
Gruden now willing to trade players for nothing in search of that high draft status.
Just through the first half. Jesus wept LSU don't have any offence at all.
Bama OL is just ridiculous though. Tua could basically stand there all day for 80-90% of snaps.
Gonna sack off redzone for Rams @ Saints on sky sports later. For 6pm I'm undecided between Steelers @ Ravens on sky sports, redzone or one of the other games on game pass.
I always Redzone it but I might also use Gamepass to watch Ravens/Steelers at the same time.
Might as well get use out of it seeing as they took the money from me during a free trial.
It's on Sky Sports Mahow so they may black that game out (Gamepass I mean).
So you're telling me that they took £139 out of my account when I was on a free trial (my fifth but whatever) and I might not even be able to watch the game I want to watch?
What in the fuck is this shit?Quote:
Due to regional broadcasting rights in the UK and Republic of Ireland certain games and content are subject to weekly blackout restrictions.
Week 9 - Sunday 4 November blackout games:
Steelers @ Ravens 6:00 PM GMT / 7:00 PM CEST
Rams @ Saints 9:25 PM GMT / 10:25 PM CEST
I bet they're the Sky games. And Sky will not want anyone else showing their games here live.
Still couldn't sit through RedZone if there's a choice of a full game on.
I'll use a VPN if it doesn't work.
Tempted to watch Jets-Dolphins :eyemouth:
Have you seen my fantasy teams this season? :baz:
Seahawks need to utilise this btw because Shaquem Griffin has power in his stump:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZIjN1-qYqo
52.1 passer rating when going deep for Flacco which is 33rd in the league apparently.
Elite
Turns out that they relented and did cancel my Gamepass (and refund) which is strange as they were adamant that I was not going to get a refund/cancellation for abusing their free trial system.
Although it was hardly an abuse despite them continually allowing me to sign up doing nothing different.
Mayfield had to such a long way to go to be a competent NFL QB.
Think it's safe to say that my fantasy season is practically dead :moop:
Big Ben taking a punt.
Wooooooo.
Flacco had Loomar wide open there.
No one at all was even bothering to cover him.
Browns game is as good as over so was going to watch Minnesota v Detroit. But that stupid fucking horn
Not sure how you get it watching the NFL, but each to their own.
Stop using Loomar in these shit trick plays.
Pickterman is the gift that keeps on giving.
Is Matt Barkley in yet?
He's the sole reason I'm currently losing to Dan in Dynasty.... 28 points for the Bears defence so far.
I have them in a decent number of leagues, but Pleb is crushing me with them in TTH so it evens out in the end.
What a twat Newton is.
I have this on randomly, are the commentators all home biased like they are in baseball? This pair sound like they're desperate for Baltimore to come back into it.
Some are incredibly biased.
Chris Collinsworth would happily suck off Brady, Belichek and most of the Patriots. Troy Aikman is also massively pro-Cowboys and you also have some guys like Al Michaels and Joe Buck being yes men to who they are paired with.
Dan Fouts and Ian Eagle are doing this game. I'm not too sure on them, it's possible.
Needless to say Ian Eagle is pronounced Eye-Ann Eagle.
I did warn him.
Zadarius Smith just flattened Ben Rofflesburger.
I always thought it was Iron Eagle (without ever looking too much into it) which I thought was a very cool name (even if it was a nickname).
Enjoyed dipping into the lions game there. Quality fake put before lateraling the next play (or so) into their own endzone. lol.
Julio actually has a TD.
Darnold has had a shocker.
Throwing it away but not angling it out of bounds
It was 4th down anyway, right?
I thought it was third but you're right.
Didn't matter.
Yeah it was, he wasn't throwing it away, just a heave and hope.
This end drive is a thing of beauty from the Ravens...
We might as well just push the reset button now.
Sack Harbaugh and Morninwheg and bench Flacco.
Kamara is a don.
Me and a few mates have booked off the monday after the superbowl to organise some sorta stupid piss-up to watch it. Any TTHers fancy venturing to Rugby to join us? It'll be brilliant fun, honest.
Hekker got that.
Good to see the Rams getting a fisting for once.
That's a great pick by Anzalone.
I feel like I should continue not watching this game. It’s going far too well.
Does anyone not have the Saints as their 2nd team? Just so likeable all over.
One of the all-time halves there from the Saints, although well aided and abetted by that ridiculous 'ruling on the field stands call' on the fake FG run. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of cunts. I don't really know why, but I have a burning hatred of the Rams. We're not talking New England levels here, obviously, but it's not something I can really put my finger on (maybe Cowboys/Giants level). Hopefully they take a heavy fisting here, or at least don't come back.
It's been an interesting journey for the Saints under Payton if they're (back to being) "likeable all over" again.
I've always had a bit of a soft-spot for them ever since I unknowingly drafted Colston in his rookie season.
What an effort that was by Brown.
Unbelievable effort from Brown. He's impressed me all season when he's been on the field.
Thomas hid a phone :rosebud:
Well, I guess I'll have to actually watch that game now we've managed to salvage the choke
Wanted saints to lose after that Thomas celebration. What a fucking idiot
I had the game muted at that point but saw it. What was that all about?
He was copying Joe Horn:
https://i.makeagif.com/media/5-01-2015/E0QcWx.gif
Collinsworth was unbearable in that opening drive.
Fuck me he's so shit.
Went to bed at 35-35 so quite surprised to see the Saints got up in the end. Looked fairly ominous.
2 drives, 2 fumbles.
Titans are shit.
Ameer Abdullah has been put down, and Dak is apparently going to get an extension despite doing nothing since his rookie year.
They've looked about and not found anything better out there. They're also in a sticky spot. There's not a great QB class coming and they're probably doing a bit too well to be involved in picking the good one(s) without trading up.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...&sf201719867=1
Dez Bryant to New Orleans seems to be a goer.
This year looks like it’ll be garbage, especially if Herbert goes back, but 2020 could have at least five guys worth looking at, if not more. They could probably get one of them next year without having to trade up, and even if they did, it’s still worth it. Willingly committing to an average QB (and probably paying him like a good one) instead of throwing picks at one of those guys is how you stay exactly where you are.
Falcons have signed Bruce Irvin and the Saints have signed Dez Bryant.
Fuck you Cam.
He's tried to heave it to Olsen, but that's a really bad decision.
The Panthers run defence looks fucking abysmal tonight.
I take that back.
Every aspect of this Panthers team (bar CMC) is abysmal tonight.
That's got to be one of the easiest passing TDs I've ever seen.
This is Tampa Bay style defending.
They're barely able to block Bud Dupree and TJ Watt.
Barely is an overstatement. They're just standing obstacles to run around.
Dez Bryant has apparently torn his achilles in his first practice with the Saints.
I wonder how much he got paid for that.
Shame. You'd imagine that's career over.
Flacco has apparently been seeking medical advice on a 'hip issue' and will be questionable for week 11 as he may require 'surgery' and/or 'prolonged rest'. Funny that this flared up just as the bye week rolls around & gives Loomar the chance to slip in & have the ideal transition to being the starter :sherlock:
Loomar
Oh my.
Turns out that play is harder than it looks.
Rakeem Boyd too. Shame.
Watched the bama game @Dan?
Some horrific officiating but miss state shot themselves in the foot repeatedly.
Clemson would've probably beaten or run that bama close. They're good, but not they're not perfect. Tua probably sits against the citadel (or throws up 28 in the first quarter first) and then has a bye, which will be key.
Nah, but there's a condensed version on YouTube so I've saved that away for another time. The fact they're playing Citadel at this point of the season is proper lol, and an indictment of the whole 'arrange your own non-conference schedule' thing.
So now league officials are not expecting Bell to return this week. If he doesn't, he gives up on $14m, is ineligeble for the rest of the season and also will not become a UFA in the off-season.
Surely it's easier to turn up and get "injured"
To become an unrestricted free agent he needs to return this Tuesday. If he doesn't this season essentially doesn't count and the Steelers would still have a say on where he went, if anywhere.
ACTIVE - Sony Michel, Gio Bernard, Kerryon Johnson & Ryan Grant, Leonard Fournette, Taylor Gabriel, Allen Robinson, Khalil Mack
INACTIVE - Gronk, Robby Anderson, Chris Ivory, Sammy Watkins, Darius Slay, Matt Bryant, AJ Bouye, Taywan Taylor, AJ Green, Vontaze Burfict, and probably Chris Carson
Not good news for Lions fans.
That's some catch by Thomas.
I think it hits the ground.
Guess who left shady on his fantasy bench? This guy. :moop:
That Fitzmagic play
On replay it was a forward pass which is a shame.
Fitz :D
Barkley passing it to a left tackle
I can't wait for the Saints hype to build & build, only to end up with an ending like last season.
Look at the Bills pretending they don't want the number 1 pick.
Shady. :(
Also got Derick Henry in the bench, and Brady is my qb. :moop:
Good one.
Chubb, woof.
What a beast. Of course I'm facing him in TTH :moop:
Jacksonville done for having twelve men at the snap. :D How the fuck does that happen at this level?
Chubb is quality.
4th time Parkey has hit a post :D
Yeah happens quite a lot. Last year Rodgers was rinsing teams with it with the free play but they've tightened the rules.
What's better and more rare is when the 12th man realises he's fucked it and jut stays on and defends anyway. A cb did it last year and defended the pass.
Brady would have had the first down if he didn't stumble.
Such a brilliant passer but he runs like an 80 year old man with arthritis.
Stuck with bad internet tonight so no gamepass. God I fucking hate redzone. I know it's the way forward with the generation of sports coverage being just snippets but you get to see nothing develop in any game.
Lockett giving the ball to Floyd Mayweather
Carr throwing it into the dirt on 4th down :D
That sums him and the Raiders up.
Hanson reckoned he did it without realising which down it was. Surely he knew? I mean that's cut worthy.
He looked like he didn't realise it was 4th down afterwards.
I think he's just a mong tbh, he felt the pressure and shat his pants.
Rams fear that Cooper Kupp tore an ACL.
It's announced it's a tear. Also,Bengals have fired their defensive coordinator and Marvin Lewis assumes those responsibilities and lastly Brandon Marshall has signed with the Saints since it's evident dropping 50 points left and right is not much from an offense standpoint.
Kupp :(
Surely Brandon Marshall can’t be that much better than Austin Carr & Keith Kirkwood at this stage?
I’m not watching the NFL again until someone hires Peterman.
CJ Anderson has been cut too, and Santos replaces Catanzaro.
What a shit call by the refs, that was an interception.
No. No thank you.
He didn’t start particularly fast, but the man has proved he’s a beast lately. That Colts line has been a revelation - big, nasty & actually able to protect Andrew Luck for the first time in probably five years.
Hue is back with the Bengals as ‘special assistant to the Head Coach’ :D
No idea why people say it’s an old boys club.
Bugger knows how Church didn't shit himself inside out with that screaming lunatic about to burst him.
Nathan Peterman would have had a better career passer rating had he spiked the ball on every play instead :D
Deadline passed, Bell is a no-show. RIP to all those who took him first round and didn't manage to grab Conner.
:(
He's such a dick.
He did tell everyone last year he wouldn't play under the tag again.
Even the fucking Bills have decided that Terrelle Pryor is shit.
Yeah, I hate it too. Sorta trying to half pay attention to everything, end up taking in absolutely nothing. Though watching the full games on Sunday I do other stuff to pass time between plays and end up not realising the game's started again for about 10 minutes, which is equally shit. I think my preferred NFL consumption is watching a late Sunday game, MNF and thursdays game in 40 mins on gamepass the morning after. Might just give up on Sunday evenings as dedicated NFL time, and just watch all the games which sound interesting on Monday evening instead.
I'm not a massive fan of the 3 sky blokes either.
I used to like Mike Carlson on channel 5 from what very little I remember.
Carlson is the best NFL presenter that has even been employed on UK TV.
It's a shame that Channel 5 and 4 can't be arsed bidding for any NFL packages/highlights though.
I tried to listen to him and Nat Coombs doing a preview podcast but I didn't love it. I do genuinely really like Osi, Jason and Chappers as a trio but it's sometimes a tad too bantery for my liking. I'd watch all the games in full if the sky studio team was Chappers, Mike, Osi and Jason I think.
Bell seems to be getting absolutely ripped in the media, but everyone seems to be glossing over that had he been injured this year he was fucked regardless of whether he was on the tag or the deal the steelers offered.
His holdout is all about guarantees and security. If he gets his contract with 30-35 mil guaranteed and then gets injured, or not, he'll be justified.
The franchise tag for multiple seasons just seems like the old NFL boys club waiving power because they can. Imagine being a rookie drafted into team and then becoming a proper top of the position stud. You could play 6 seasons before getting a chance to reach market value, all the while being an injury away from losing that contract.
Sucks for the NFL that a player that good isn't playing, but it's not new information that players dislike the tagging system.
The tagging system has always made zero sense to me. The entire contract situation and salary cap needs simplifying to be honest, it’s utter nonsense.
You only have to look at someone like Earl Thomas. He wanted a deal with more guaranteed money or trading. He played on whilst negotiating and look what's happened.
It's not a great situation but I don't blame Bell for what he's doing.
Terron Armstead is out 3-4 weeks. He’s been one of the best tackles in the league this year (as has Ramczyk on the other side), so it’s a big problem, especially as we play the Eagles next :uhoh:
We're in shit form, with only Mills left as a reliable corner and you're scoring over 40 points a game. It's only going one way.
Loomar is sick. Flacco is out. RG3 looms...
I think even if Loomar was 100% then we'd be starting with RG3.
Loomar is listed as the number 2 so we can run those bullshit trick plays which lose all momentum we had, I can't see him starting a game.
Ohio State :D
No, wait, Maryland :D
EDIT: Nope, it's definitely Ohio State :D How do you let Maryland break two 75+ yard runs in the first quarter? Maryland are a mess, and they're dick slapping Ohio State right now.
And now they throw in Tate Martell on a third & short for no reason, don't get it, then get stopped on fourth down as well. They're properly fucking this up so far.
Immediately give up another huge play on defence as well. The defence is disgraceful so far - Michigan should humiliate them next week.
Kendall Sheffield just got put on his arse trying to press his man, but luckily the Maryland's backup QB can't hit two throws in a row so they're only 17-3 up inside the first quarter.
Maryland are just running all over Ohio State here, and I genuinely don't think anyone in the Ohio State secondary has any fucking clue what they're meant to be doing.
This Maryland CB wearing 2 (Davis, I think they said), is pretty not good, and also pretty not smart, and it's probably going to put Ohio State right back into this game at half-time. And the second I post that JK Dobbins fumbles at the goal-line :D This is two teams who are a mess off the field, playing like a mess on the field.
Ohio state are nowhere near playoff worthy.
Not watched/watching any of the games today and the schedule looks pretty poor. Would be quite funny if ucf manage to fuck up in front of game day vs Cincinnati.
It’s pretty terrible. I’ve not seen much of the second half as my housemate is home & im making dinner, but a pick 6 & a fumble on a QB draw isn’t a great improvement on the first half.
I tell you what, this game was much better than anyone would have expected before the game. 40 seconds might still be enough for Maryland to win it as well.
ESPN appear to have got confused and published an Onion article.
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...d-coaching-job
Wot?
:D
The Browns are so good.
I have a feeling that Burfict is going to attempt to try and destroy Loomar today.
I think we're planning on running it every single play.
I have no idea why you wouldn't immediately begin the game with a spy on Loomar every single play. That QB draw where the entire middle of the field was completely open was shameful.
Is Loomar Lamar Jackson?
He has PASSED the ball.
Titans are getting rinsed, a week after roasting the patriots.
NFL is super open and competitive this year.
Jags fuucking up the steelers too.
A James Connor injury today is inevitable.
Man, the Colts are rolling at the minute. This is probably the best they've looked since Luck arrived :uhoh:
Julio
Love me some Justin Reid too.
Reid
I almost picked him up in my IDP league but went for Glover Quin instead. Doesn't matter though as I've won the match already but still.
101 yard pick six.
Love that shit. Houston
Getting fucked in fantasy though.
Big Ben :harold:
Fitzmagic dead? :(
That Gabbert interception :D
Alex Smith's leg
Oh Dear god that Alex smith injury is rough viewing.
Cam down too now, although surely nothing as serious as Alex Smith.
Sam Bradford will be getting some calls tomorrow, you'd have to imagine.
If CMC and Loomar score TD's then I'm on for about £75.
Mon lads.
Surely kaepernick is a better fit in Carolina?
:sherlock:
Gus Edwards is looking damn good today.
13 rushes for 96 yards, 1 TD and a 2 point conversion.
Cam is back.
Washington need a qb though. Shame RG3 is on the ravens.
Manziel would probably fob off the CFL...
Washington giving up even more picks for an RG3 reunion would be amazing, to be fair :D
That Bengals/Ravens 'fight' :D
First time we've had a 100 yard rusher (well 2, Edwards and Jackson) this season. Previous best was Collins with 68 against the Broncos.
Collins only has 393 rushing yards this year. Edwards and Jackson have combined for 226 thus far today.
What's the relevance of that stupid train sound in Atlanta? Like even that annoying fucking horn in Minneapolis kind of makes sense but where's the Atlanta or Falcon train link?
Don't they do it in Detroit also? Not a clue but it is quite grating.
Detroit makes sense kind of given its ford field.
So glad I decided to start Derick Henry today after his monster game last week when he was on my bench.
That's horrendous from Newton.
Big Ben :hail:
Twenty eight carries for Fournette today, for a total of ninety five yards. How the Dickens did they come so close to turning over the Steelers with that as their most potent weapon?
Pittsburgh doing nothing until the 4th quarter.
Carr and Gruden arguing already. I look forward to that implosion.
Stop it, stop it! We're already dead.
Will someone please give us some draft picks for RG3?
So you can draft another Tight End?
Tight ends are the future.
What in the actual fuck was that game? Madness!
I switched it on with about ten minutes to go and saw two touchdowns, two interceptions, and I think five changes of possession total that didn't involve a score. Terrific viewing.
Mahomes already has more TDs than the league leader in five of the last ten years, and there's been no five game spell this season which, if replicated, would see him end the year with fewer than fifty.
Well that was a straight up Big 12 game - no defence at all, and everyone just gunning it up the field.
There’s a part of me that fucking hates it too - it seems like we’re going more & more towards just making it so offences can score at will, because bigger scores = better games, but maybe the whole point is that you should be able to win with any style if you can master it.
Right now you literally don’t have a shot unless your offence can hit 35+pts per game without breaking sweat, which means there’s no point even thinking about building a ‘run first & play defence’ style team or even a conservative passing team, because you’re just going to get blown off the field no matter how good your defence is.
The fact that even the Patriots, the best & most consistent offence of the last decade, with the best QB & coach of all time, are pretty much given no shot this year because they can’t put forty on the board every week pretty much sums it up.
11 of 13 games decided by 5 or less, 9 of them by 3 or less. Quite a week.
I made it to the end of the 3rd quarter, and had to wave the white flag and get some sleep. Quite gutted I did now. Unbelievable performances from both offences, but it was a couple of key defensive plays that sealed the deal. Apart from Chris Jones and maybe Dee Ford, I can't see any major playmakers on the Chiefs defence.
This has been thrilling...
That was an impressive second effort by Blount.
What the fuck is this voice?
This is so fucking shit.
Eddie Jackson
That's beautiful play recognition.
That was a great heads up play by the lineman.
He pulled Cohen for about 5 yards and the first down.
What the fuck was that pass? :D
The Ryan family are detestable.
Not allowed to jump in this year.
I picked the right time to take a shit.
Cooper is having a decent quarter.
That hit on Reed, fucking hell. No idea how there wasn't a flag.
Brees throwing TDs to four UDFAs
Defence has improved a lot lately too. I can’t wait to see how we mess it up this time.
God I'd love to see Brees win it this year.
Loomar will be starting again as Flacco is still injured/shit.
McKenzie Milton :( Just got in & turned on the UCF game. Does not look to have been good.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...dies-at-age-81
Bob McNair has died.
Don't remember hearing that he'd been ill, but I guess he's 81. Still a shame, obviously - even though he seems to have been a bit of a mad, old conservative, the Texans wouldn't exist without him.
Changing tones completely, DK Metcalf has declared for the draft despite missing a decent chunk of the college season with a neck injury. This has been talked about as a weak WR class, but while there probably isn't an obvious dominant player in the class, it does feel absolutely stacked with very capable receivers, and DK Metcalf has got a lot of love in draft circles as one of the best, so it'll be interesting to see if he makes it off the board on day one.
Also, if I need a QB in this draft class I think I'd be pretty tempted to ignore all the top guys & just take a look at Eric Dungey or Jordan Ta'amu, who both might end up being available on day three. If Herbert & Haskins both go back it'd be seriously tempting to roll with one of Dungey & Ta'amu for a year & then have the option to dip into a monster QB class in 2020 if they don't show much.
Finally, Ohio State straight dicking Michigan
Michigan have done a Wisconsin Here. Win and you're in but you fuck it up. And they fucked it up so badly it's probably irreversible
Going to open an interesting conversation of Georgia v Oklahoma v Ohio state v Michigan. If georgia lose in the sec final and Oklahoma beat Texas I Think they might go, and they might well let in 70 or 80 against tua.
Reuben Foster has been arrested for domestic violence again...
Also just seen the LSU v Texas A&M score :cab:
Yeah, LSU were out of it anyway but that's ridiculous. Must force you to go for 2 in OT after OT3.
Justin Herbert got hurt this week did he not? Interested to know how bad that is. Milton got blown up too, so ucf are devalued.
Just watching the saints falcons game now. Brees is some boy. Was it last year or the year before where he was struggling hugely and I looked like his arm had gone? Must've been playing hurt because he is looking clutch. Really hope he gets MVP this year. Ridiculous if he goes his career without being MVP.
Rueben Foster just got cut.
He was arrested for domestic violence Saturday night. Obviously the straw that broke the camels back.
I'm sure there will be a lot of teams willing to take a chance on him.
Complete moron despite his amazing talent.
Alex Collins surprisingly out.
Means Gus the Bus is the starter and I think with another good game he'll be full time starter.
Quite a few extra giants out there on the field today.
Njoku
Strange leap but worked out well.
Saquon is just a cheat code.
Bengals getting a fisting.
Remember guys, Hue thought he should have had more time...
lol at Moncrief and Wallace.
They will never let it go.
Fournette and Lawson ejected for fighting.
Ha.
Large testicles from Seattle there.
Suggs
He's an old man.
Gus Edwards with over 100 yards again, I think he's done enough to replace Collins.
Also, this was the first time we've had consecutive 200 yard rushing games since the Super bowl season. IT'S HAPPENING.
That's coming back but what a throw by Driskel and catch by Boyd.
Grimble :D
Not too shabby that.
the dolphins are fucking stupid and i'm upset about it
Marvin Jones and Jack Doyle to IR apparently.
Andy Dalton too, and they’ve signed Tom Savage so that’s their playoff hopes out the window for another year.
Be interested in seeing more of Driskell.
Bortles is being replaced by Cody Kessler
Th day that keeps on giving.
They fired the OC too. Apparently he was called in but was under the impression it was to discuss a QB change. Got told that wasn't the only thing that was changing.
Bortles benched.
Jags will start Cody fucking Kessler, that's how bad it has gotten.
Edit: Should have refreshed, fuck you Dan.
Reuben Foster has been claimed, but it’s not been confirmed by who yet. Adam Schefter initially said Cleveland but has backtracked.
You’d have to imagine it’s the Bengals or Cowboys.
He'd fit in well with the Bengals.
Can't imagine the Cowboys taking him. Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith have formed a mean partnership.
Foster, Burfict & Mixon on the same team would be amazing :D They should embrace it & become the Cincinnati Bastards
I wonder if the Ravens put a bid in, although they were probably still wary because of Ray Rice.
Kenny Young and Peanut have looked really good this year but Mosely has struggled in pass coverage and in the last year of his deal.
Ruben Foster (when not beating women) and Kenny Young would be a pretty mean duo.
Here’s a story for Mahow.
Josh Woodrum was selected 8th by the Salt Lake Stallions in the AAF QB only Draft last night.
The three round draft also included Aaron Murray, Scott Tolzien, Zach Mettenberger & Christian Hackenberg
Here’s a look at the uniforms too.
Just looking at the rosters - Birmingham Iron have Trent Richardson
Stallions also have Matt Asiata & superstar long snapper from the 2018 Senior Bowl Tanner Carew, so they might be the team of TTH.
Didn't even know there was a new league starting.
It kicks off February 9th, apparently. Sounds like it’ll be awful, but it’s another place for guys to play after college, and it fills some of the gap between NFL seasons, so I guess there’s potential there.
It’ll be interesting to see if anyone gets NFL calls should they dominate there. Luis Perez got some sleeper talk before the draft so he could be one to watch for a practice squad next year if he does well.
Just been having a run through on it there. Love some of the new rules especially the no-kickoffs and what they do for onsides.
Hopefully they'll do something with streaming games.
Josh 'The Truth' Woodrum
Some of the names there are incredible.
Also, Flaccid (my phone autocorrected and I'm sticking with it) isn't expected back this week.
Apparently Gus the Bus has an ankle injury, so it could be time for Mahow’s first love Kenneth Dixon to get another shot.
I don't think it's anything serious, he probably just missed practice so he could rest it.
I think about 20 players missed practice yesterday.
Yep, that was pretty much inevitable :moop:
Months before the season too. The NFL are such pricks.
I know it's their whole thing to be sensationalist about everything, but that's just about the most nothing fracas of all time.
He’s been cut.
Such bullshit from the league.
Basically, you can do any violent thing as long as the video isn't publicly released.
Kareem Hunt will get picked up on waivers by someone. He's still on his rookie deal and they'll stash him for next year once he's served a 6 or 10 game suspension. Plus, reliable kickers are hard to find in this league.
Kickers?
What does cut mean anyway, and, other than as a PR exercise, why would the Chiefs release him if he's just going to get an X games suspension and then come back a new man somewhere else? Presumably they're paying him a pittance relative to his (former) worth at the moment.
It's an almost unwritten rule it seems that if a player fucks up in a market, ie a team, he needs a fresh start somewhere else in the country. They can claim he's a new man, a new start and get over the initial fan apprehension on the hope he stays clean.
If it backfires, they release him and the GM gets a pasting.
Talent wise, it's impossible that he doesn't get picked up pretty sharpish. There are teams with questionable running situations that will have him. I mean can you imagine him on a team like Philly, or Baltimore, Atlanta or Houston. All teams That are good, but need help running the ball.
Fair play to the Chiefs in saying this is bigger than football, but there'll be someone already putting together a plan for picking him up.
I doubt Ozzie will go near him. They're still shitting themselves over the Ray Rice incident.
I mean Kansas City haven't really done that, as they've still got tyreek hill. They've just bolted to save face for this particular example. Wouldn't be surprised if something came out about Marcus peters either after he got jettisoned. It's all about risk and PR. If they think they can get production without handling all sorts of PR questions they'll do it. They can now claim he lied to them, they didn't know, and move on. Someone else will have to answer to his character if he gets picked up.
If the NFL has taught us anything, it's that the Redskins will already be printing his name on their shirts.
Yesterday Collins was a full participant in training, today he was put on IR to make room for Dixon.
Got to think that he's done with us now. Team prefer Dixon over him and Gus the Bus has broken out.
You're always going to have a problem if you can't keep the ball in your hands. Especially when another kid breaks out behind you.
I imagine he wont be long in finding a home next year though.
That and he's not been anywhere near as effective this year. The foot problems and worse blocking haven't helped ofc.
They also don't trust him in receiving or to pass block.
I hate all the QB run plays inside the 10 in college football. Sam Ehlinger has scored two short TDs on designed QB runs already & I'd really rather watch them try to actually pass the ball for once.
And yeah, I say that with a running college QB in my avatar :D Milton actually throws the ball as well though.
Good start from Georgia here. They might actually make a game of this.
I've just got back from the cinema. Alabama will come out pissed off in the second half & run them over. Hopefully UCF can pull the win out too, but it sounds like it's been the Darrell Henderson signature game that'll get him from being a hyped up sleeper in the 2019 draft to being an actual, talked about prospect.
Love the double fake from Channing Tindall on that sack - took a step forwards to make the RB think he was blitzing, then dropped a few steps to fool him into releasing into a route, and then ran straight through untouched to take down Tua
Think he's only a freshman too (maybe a sophomore), so that kind of football intelligence is impressive.
Speaking of impressive, that throw from Jake Fromm
HOT ROD NO! :( That'll be the turning point then.
JR Reed coming up with a play. Thrown behind Waddle though, which gave him the chance to reach the ball. Not Tua's finest game (so far).
If you didn't know Jaylen Waddle was fast, that TD just proved it. Look at UCF getting right back into their game too - just gone 42-41 up against Memphis.
Fucking hell, what a spectacular way to bottle this one Georgia :D Alabama loses their star QB so Georgia lets the rubbish one go up & down the field on them, then just voluntarily puts in their own rubbish, running QB to fuck up their crucial drive, then tries to give it to him again on a 4th & 11 fake. Absolute fucking idiots, and they deserve to lose this now.
Travis Etienne is pretty good.
UCF dominated Memphis in the second half of their game, and ended up winning pretty easily. Think they had six second half TDs (four of which were QB rushing TDs, of course).
DeVonta Smith is pretty good (and fast) as well. Alabama, Michigan & Ole Miss all have stacked WR groups, but the Bama team is all first & second year players, which is terrifying.
I just don’t know why Georgia keep taking the ball out of Jake Fromm’s hands when he’s carving Alabama up. Sounds like the fake punt was open right up until the second they snapped the ball & Dylan Moses got over to cover DeAndre Swift, but it still feels a bit aggressive given the other option was kicking it deep & making Jalen Hurts drive the length of the field.
It’s definitely going to be interesting to see what the final four ends up being now - obviously it should be either Georgia or Oklahoma for the final spot, but no doubt Ohio State will be making a hard push & UCF are still playing the game too. The ‘expand the playoffs to 8 teams’ argument has really got louder this season, so hopefully that’s something that gets some serious consideration in the offseason.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...ame-suspension
Sounds like there was another incident involving Kareem in June. It’s just staggering how stupid these players can be, and how often they go around twatting people.
Yeah. There was me dreaming of bama being left out and Georgia deviate. Great game though. We'll get a rematch in the CFP. No way Georgia can be sitting at 4, push number 1 all the way and then drop out. Oklahoma can score, but their defence against bama or Clemson offence? Behave.
Edit, although I can totally see the committee tanking Georgia artificially to give Oklahoma or Ohio state a shot.
Interesting to find out how crocked tua is.
Oklahoma get in over Georgia, and will probably play out a 70-50 loss against Alabama if Tua’s injury is only minor as suggested.
Snow
Oklahoma are in. Jesus. That's going to be an offensive showcase between the two heisman front runners.
Noah fant, the Iowa tight end is heading for the NFL too.
As well he should, he's a beast. It'll be interesting to see if TJ Hockenson, the other Iowa TE, joins him or takes a year to have the limelight all to himself.
I'd like to see him, Sternberger, Dawson Know & Albert O all go back, but we'll see. If they all come out this will be the greatest TE class of all time.
Jaguars with two 4th down special teams flags :D
They've gone back to full retard after a season of good work.
Sam Koch > Flacco.
Sam Koch > Jackson, to be fair.
Sternberger is the guy who transferred from lower division/juco to sec football yeah? Just looked it up, northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Some rise. A bit like the kicker in Baton Rouge.
Interesting that fant did get first team honours, hockenson did. :D
Be interesting to see which of the Georgia players fuck off a bowl. Ridley is a junior so he could join brother in the league. Always assumed he was a small fast guy. He's 6 foot fucking 2. Fuck me.
That kick against the bengals though. Jesus Christ.
Hicks
I love a D-Line scoring from the 1.
Wankers.
Where's the helmet to helmet bit?
Rodgers really has lost it. You can blame coaches and receivers but he is massively inaccurate these days.
Andre Hal with the pick of Baker. Nice for him having come back from (I think) Hodgkins Lymphoma.
So, Odell legit has a better arm than Eli at this point.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wZP0xPGdkY
Wilkins can also play safety:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I000TfYfzxE
Never a horse collar. Given the Lions another life here on the drive.
Lamar Jackson really isn't that great at throwing the ball is he?
Really like josh Allen now too, he looks like he's got a legit chance of hanging around the league. He's going to lose a season or two with an injury though, absolutely no doubt.
Saquon is such a freak.
Callaway
Justin Reid is a baller.
Callaway almost channelling his inner D-Jax.
I like Gus Edwards a lot.
He always seems to break the first tackle and/or fall forward for an extra yard or two.
Who the fuck is Andrew Adams? Clearly Cam doesn't know either, but it looks like he thinks he's a Panther WR.
Not a good week to have vinatieri as your kicker.
Guess who my kicker is?
Hang on, Arizona are beating Green Bay? :cab:
Jesus, blow this thing up guys.
Tavon Young
That catch from Adams
Colts let so much time go off the clock in those final couple of plays.
3rd and 23? Of course they make it.
Packers speciality right there.
Larry Fitz, what a man.
lol at Newton not having enough strength to throw 50 yards.
Remember when he used to be known as the physical freak #1 overall pick who throws downfield more than anyone else?
Now he can't even throw as far as his undrafted backup.
Hasn't he got a shoulder injury right now? Or is this a more permanent thing?
Giants imploding here.
Chase Daniel showing why he's a backup, dropping his eyes as soon as there's pressure, running around without actually going anywhere & taking a sack.
Oh Crosby.
That has to be Crosby's last chance now.
Daniel
Josh Rosen > Aaron Rodgers. It's official :nodd:
(probably time for Mason Crosby to call it a day now)
Charles Clay :face:
The fucking stones to call that play with 2 seconds on the clock.
The Chicago special? I like it.
Top stuff from the Giants here.
Not as easy as you'd expect but he's got to make that.
Clay dropped a wide-open 4th down pass in the endzone in the last minute. Although the pass was very wobbly and low, he literally didn't have anyone with 10 yards of him. Would have won the game for the Bills.
He dropped a Josh Allen missile wide open on the goalline on 4th & 11 to lose Buffalo the game. He was coming back to it & had to scoop it off the floor, but he should still have got it.
Nice to see Chicago realising that Anthony Miller is the guy to trust when they need a catch. Now they just need to remember to throw it to him the rest of the time.
Did Kelce just give someone a stunner? :D
First takeaway in 6 games for the Jets.
Nice of him to give them a pick 6.
I like that Jamal Adams was so busy celebrating that he had no idea Mariota was closing in behind him.
Fucking glorious.
lol at Hanson on Redzone thinking it was a DDT.
I started the Jets defence in Dynasty too :D
Barkley is absolutely ridiculous.
Mariota
Bears have royally fucked that.
It's starting to look like Dallas might've known what they were doing when they cut Dan Bailey :D
Brady with 1000 rushing yards
1.7 rushing yards per attempt, what a man.
Andrew luck my fantasy qb, my opponent has mahomes. Fuck off
:D
 Mike Mac
Losing at Lambeau to the Cardinals is sackable by itself.
Might as well just let Rodgers pick the replacement the pouty cunt.
I'd get Jim Harbaugh in.
.
LSU v UCF, Texas v Georgia & Ohio State v Washington look to be the three best bowl games this year.
There are a few other good ones, like Florida v Michigan, Penn State v Kentucky & Texas A&M v N.C. State, but those are the highlight games. Not a super thrilling card overall.
And you know what, I’m slowly starting to fancy Clemson over Alabama.
Not if you want a QB for next season :D Dwayne Haskins will probably come out, and he’ll be the best of the bunch if he does, but it sounds like Justin Herbert will go back to school, and there you have Drew Lock, Will Grier & Jarrett Stidham as the big school guys, plus guys like Daniel Jones of Duke getting some talk as a first rounder. I like mid-round guys more though, since everyone is going to be a project. Brett Rypien & Jordan Ta’amu are the main two worth keeping an eye on, but you’ll also probably see some hype on Gardener Minshew, if only for the moustache.
There are loads of decent WRs, especially if you like big, athletic, contested catch guys - you could probably get seven Courtland Sutton clones in this draft, but it’s not clear if anyone will really be that stud #1 guy. DK Metcalf, Kelvin Harmon & N’Keal Harry are the most regularly talked up big guys, but then you can throw in JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Collin Johnson, Riley Ridley, Deebo Samuel & Hakeem Butler just for starters, and all of those guys could be gone by the end of day two. Throw in some middle of the field possession/YAC guys like A.J. Brown, Hunter Renfrow & Paris Campbell and you can pretty much get a solid starter no matter what you need.
TE will depend who comes out, but Noah Fant is the big name, and then there could be another bunch of guys behind him who all end up being starters - Irv Smith Jr, Kaden Smith & Caleb Wilson, who was a big thing a season or two ago but seems to be slipping under the radar now, are just a few of them.
RB might not be particularly strong at the top, but there are guys who can all be rotation players that can step up & carry the load if needed - I’ve liked Karan Higdon & Myles Gaskin for a while, but Damien Williams, Rodney Anderson (currently injured, but coming out anyway) & David Montgomery will probably be the headliners. Darrell Henderson will get the sleeper buzz now, and the you have some big guys like Elijah Holyfield & Qadree Ollison who could be productive in the right spot. I also like Nick Brosette from LSU, who’s more in this mould, and then you have Justice Hill if you want a smaller, elusive guy. Oh, and there’s some guy named Bryce Love in there too.
To summarise, if you want guys who might offer something next season:
QB - Dwayne Haskins, Brett Rypien, Will Grier
RB - David Montgomery, Rodney Anderson, Bryce Love, Darrell Henderson
WR - DK Metcalf, Kelvin Harmon, Riley Ridley, AJ Brown, Paris Campbell, Marquise Brown
TE - Noah Fant, Kaden Smith, Irv Smith Jr
——
I need to start actually watching film though - most of that was just from listening to so many podcasts :D
EDIT: I just watched DK Metcalf. He's a freak from a physical standpoint, 6'4" 225lbs, explosive, eats up ground with long strides, and absolutely shreds people off the line with a wide range of releases & great use of hands. Problem is, he's not actually very consistent as a catcher, especially in contested catch situations, and he kinda feels a bit soft at times when he has to go up & get it through a defender. When he does bother to attack the ball he's hard to stop, and his strength is obvious at times when he actually uses it, but he's clearly not the finished product - as you'd expect from a redshirt sophomore who's probably played about 15 total games in college.
I like him, and his potential is ENORMOUS, but he's probably not going to be a Julio/AJ Green type player right out the gate.
EDIT 2: You know how I said DK was strong? N'Keal Harry is 15lbs lighter & he's pretty much the WR equivalent of Marshawn Lynch. He plays like he's made of rock.
Colt McCoy broken right fibula.
Sanchize in to save the day.
Urban Meyer is stepping down as head coach of Ohio State, with Ryan Day taking over after their bowl game.
:uhoh:
Kelvin Benjamin to the pit of misery.
I like that Adrian Peterson had a 90 yard run yesterday but wasn't able to top 100 total.
Bills receiving corps is amazing.
Zay Jones, Deonte Thompson, Robert Foster, Ray-Ray McCloud and Isaiah McKenzie.
I only know the first two.
He's going to end up going full Hernandez.
Winston Moss loosely criticises Rodgers, Winston Moss gets fired. And people wondered who was really running things in Green Bay.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...h-winston-moss
Doesn't sound too good.
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...-after-surgery
They've signed Josh fucking Johnson to replace McCoy.
I get them saying that Kaepernick is different to their system but Josh Johnson? Fuck me.
You can beat women (as long as it's not on camera) and still get work. Start a non-violent protest by kneeling at the anthem and you're dead.
At the draft he could barely walk.
I'll take the Titans.
What the fuck just happened? :D
Always knew Derrick Henry was a star.
Kelvin Benjamin has signed with the Chiefs, apparently. Guess they’re looking for some extra depth on the O-Line.
Derrick Henry :cab:
Kyler Murray wins the Heisman trophy. Back to back for Oklahoma.
Homophobic tweets have popped up too.
The only way we're winning today is if we manage to confuse Mahomes with some awkward looking blitzes.
Philbin out of challenges in 82 seconds :cab:
Great start :D
Kenneth Dixon
The truth is back.
It's so good to have Mark Sanchez back in the league.
Of course Brandon Bolden & James Devlin are the rushing threats in the Patriots/Dolphins game :cab:
Mayfield and Ward have been too good to say no to. Barkley is an unreal talent, but taking a RB that early on is not necessary when you consider how many good running backs are late-round picks or even UDFAs.
I think they'd stick with what they have, considering they also got Nick Chubb & he's pretty good too.
On a related note, the Giants must be livid that they can't help but blow out the Washington Red Cross to ruin their draft positioning.
Looking forward to the raiders taking Kyle Murray number 1 overall in the draft. He's such a raiders player, he's in Oakland to play baseball ( all be it they are moving to Vegas) and itd be such a stupid, typical raiders pick.
Shame San Fran have garapollo as Herbert would be right up their street, having played in the pac12.
Man, we really just cannot beat the Bucs. Think this might be three in a row.
I'm not sure Justin Herbert is coming out this year - we might be relying on Dwayne Haskins coming out for there to be an actual good QB in the class, otherwise we're hoping Will Grier & Drew Lock come up good. Niners are taking Nick Bosa anyway, assuming they don't fuck everything up by winning a game.
Kyler has said he'd like to try to balance baseball & football, but his agent has pretty much immediately stamped that out, and even if he did he's 5'9" & 170lbs, so he's small for a running back, nevermind a QB. Think about all the shit Baker got for being small, then realise Baker is something like 4 inches & 40lbs bigger than Kyler. He belongs in baseball.
Is quinen Williams draft eligible?
If so, that's 3 stud defensive lineman available, not including any of the Clemson lot who are all potential first rounders too.
Might be a big boy pants kind of draft because there's not much in the way of stud RB talent either.
Saints game is really killing a LOT of people in their play-offs.
Wont matter in the first round as they'll still get the QB they need unless someone moves up.
Looking at how will finish with a worse record:
Niners - Jimmy G
Raiders - Carr
Jets - Darnold
Cards - Rosen
Lions - Stafford
Falcons - Matt Ryan
Bills - Allen.
Jags are the only ones that could finish with a worse record and would likely pick a QB.
Yup, he's a redshirt sophomore, so he can declare. He's pretty much considered the second or third best player in the class, depending on how much people have softened on Ed Oliver lately, so you'd think he'd declare, but we'll probably have to wait until after the national championship game to find out for sure.
Jags are moving on from Bortles, apparently, and there's some talk Gruden could move on from Derek Carr as well. If Herbert & Haskins both go back (they'd be insane to from a pure draft stock standpoint, but it could definitely happen), there's not a single QB in the class who's even considered a consensus first rounder, so there might be some big reaches come April.
Look at my boy Brice Butler coming up with the play for Miami
Wink Martindale has done really well thus far.
That 3rd down play with no one deep confused the fuck out of Mahomes.
Cyrus Jones with a brilliant punt return.
He's so damn good.
I'd be surprised if Haskins goes back, especially now Urban Meyer has gone (not that it sounds like much is going to change at Ohio State), but Herbert had an underwhelming season, got hurt at the end & wants to play on the same team as his brother, who's coming to Oregon to play TE next year, so the talk has slowly shifted towards him staying in college.
Tua, Fromm, Eason & Herbert could be a quality class next year, with guys like Brian Lewerke, Joe Burrow, Khalil Tate & Jake Bentley having the chance to provide solid depth, and then you'll also have Kelly Bryant & maybe Jalen Hurts. Hopefully McKenzie Milton will be able to come back & play too.
Josh Johnson > The Sanchize
The Browns :D
PAT is good, they accept an offside penalty and miss the re-take.
That's the most Browns play of all time.
Look at this Ravens defence giving it to the Chiefs (except Travis Kelce)
EDIT: Shouldn't have said that.
Fuck you Mahomes and Hill.
Tyreek Hill limps after that and they throw a screen to him on the next play.
I was speaking to an LSU fan at work recently and he was raving about burrows. I thought this was his last year but apparently not. LSU have a chance to be even better next year if he's more accustomed to the system.
Khalil tate has been so under whelming this year. He needs to have a big, big year or he'll be a late round pick who's primarily a runner.
Tbf Kevin sumlin is far, far from a qb guru. He managed to run three qbs out of town in college station in the space of a year. One of whom went onto win the heisman.
Mahomes
He's ridiculously good.
Loomar :face:
He has to know that they're coming all out for him.
Eat shit mother Butker.
Glad he missed it, need more points from Mahomes, and he's bound to get it against these clowns
Awful snap for the kick. I'm almost rooting for the Ravens here. ALMOST.
I think Burrow is going to be one of those guys who could turn out alright, but probably won't become a franchise guy. Compared to the trash LSU have been rolling out the last few years, though, he's Peyton Brady.
Khalil Tate was basically doing the Loomar schtick his first season, but it sounds like they tried to make him a pocket guy this season, which didn't work out as well. If they can balance the two it'd probably do him the world of good, but yeah, it's not the ideal situation to be in.
Miami
Wow. Miami.
Makes it all the sweeter than Gronk was back there as a safety and whiffed on his tackle.
Oh my god Miami.
That Miami ending was ridiculous.
Fucking hell that was beautiful
Mahomes trying to dribble the ball :harold:
How was that not a fumble by Dallas on the kick off?
Could have easily been DPI too on Fuller in the last play of the Chiefs-Ravens game.
Would have been better had they just destroyed us.
It's the hope that kills you :(
I’m confused I just saw the Dolphins do multiple backward passes. Why wouldn’t you just play like Rugby?
Because it almost never works.
You mean more often? Laterals are used on occasion, but if you get it wrong it's a defensive touchdown or turnover. Forward pass dropped is a dead play. Lateral or backwards pass dropped is a fumble.
