Crazy stuff. Thought he'd at least see out the season.
Arsenal should be all over that. It would probably go terribly but it’s worth the seethe. Bring Harry Kane back while we’re at it.
Sacked apparently. Madness.
Does this mean Levy has to pay him compo?
Silly, silly stuff.
Clearly saving United from having to pay compensation.
Well in small pockets.
Think that's a poor decision, who do they have lined up who is better?
Hopefully they return to the Jacques Santini/Christian Gross school of comical foreign appointment.
Arsene Wenger got 10 years off the back of getting to a Champions League final, Poch got 6 months. Madness. Do they realize that their current position in club rankings is largely due to him?
Wasn't that Southampton bloke the anointed successor for about three weeks?
Herve Renard
Klinssman should come save ya'll like he did our USMNT
It's going to be Mourinho and it's going to be absolutely brilliant.
Haven’t their players been strolling around arguing with each other for ages now?
No problem with this.
I think the idea of a manager is an increasingly dying one anyway.
Binmen for the win!
Madness.
Had to happen. I haven’t seen someone so unhappy in my entire life. Sad that he had to be sacked, though, but it makes sense for him.
That’ll be Parrots career over before it even started. Our best prospect in years :(
Rafa?
i’ll slam my fingers in the door if mourinho gets appointed
But what about Rafa?
Sacking suggests the replacement has given the green light on coming in soon.
I think it's bonkers from the Club but back to the pit of misery with them.
According to Sky, Mourinho is nailed on to be appointed. Suggests they had him lined up before sacking.
Tottenham winning something would be worth it if it gave Mourinho the chance to give it the biggest biggun of all time.
The Mourinho rumors have been floating around for awhile, mainly due to the fact that he came to see the team play a couple times this season for some nothing league games and why else would he be in the stands for Tottenham - Crystal Palace
It would be such a shit, shit appointment though. Win the league cup maybe but then leave 18 months in having turned every player against the club. Not to mention what his relationship with Levy would be.
Something had to change, but didn’t Eriksen and others just have their heads turned by wanting to leave for “bigger” clubs and not leaving? How does bringing in Mourinho (even the Porto/Chelsea cult leader version) fix that?

Mourinho confirmed.
Mourinho confirmed :D
Good luck finishing 12th next season, Spurs.
Should've went with Sherwood.
Don’t spurs have an amazon series about this year? Levy pushing hard for that second series.
That appointment might just work.
Spurs are small and unsuccessful enough to house Mourinho’s victim complex.
This is all ridiculous.
Happy with this. It's a guilty pleasure, but I love the Mourinho roadshow.
How long has the spurs trophy drought been ongoing for and will it end within the next two years?
Wahey Calcot you alright big man?
Mourinho going to Spurs is the meme of the century :baz:
Mourinho going to Liverpool would be the best possible appointment. The victimhood on display would be incredible.
That ship sailed in 2004, sadly.
Can anybody remember what, specifically, the pube-eating was for?
And when I say "anybody" I obviously mean Lewis.
Something to do with Daniel Sturridge.
Trabzonspor by 30, I was so right about him.
It's a real sliding doors moment, last season's CL final. If Spurs had won then essentially Klopp would be in a similar position had they experienced a hangover from the defeat and started slowly this season. Not quite that simple as there are other issues at Spurs I know, but reckon if Liverpool hadn't done it last season Salah etc might have started making noises about going on to bigger things.
I think he'll do well, unfortunately. Spurs have the kind of industrious squad he needs to work with.
He's gonna play a midfield of Wanyama, Ndombele and Dier every game and it'll be the shitkicking of the century, while somehow Kane will get them 3 points every game from a flukey 86th minute header. They'll somehow end up in the CL and Mourinho will claim it's a bigger achievement than Liverpools league trophy, as it were.
