Top scorer: Kane. Salah's the only other contender I can think of but Harry keeps himself sharp and fit enough just to squeak by.
Best player: Bruno Fernandes

First manager sacked: Tuchel. Chelsea's a club that loves to pull the trigger. A mildly disappointing start and it's curtains.
Best signing: Adam Armstrong? I feel like any of the big ones hitting their stride would be meeting expectations.
Worst signing: Jack Grealish. He won't make the massive impact people were hoping at City whilst Villa will struggle without him.
Outlandish prediction: Mike Ashley travels to work by helicopter. This gives him plenty of opportunities to die.
Any other thoughts? It feels a little anticlimactic. The Euros felt big and nobody's splashing the cash. Any club that is has bet the farm on one player. I'm not that excited for any of it. It's the lingering legacy of Covidball.

Relegated:Norwich, Brentford, Watford. My thinking for Brentford is based entirely on the fact that I saw a headline the other day with their manager saying they "plan to attack" the Premier League. Most of the times when teams come up and bang on about wanting to PLAY OUR WAY they go down, and we already had Leeds do well last year so if there's a finite amount of those sorts of seasons to go around then Brentford might be shit out of luck.

First manager sacked: Xisco probably, just because he's Watford manager.
Best signing: if Villa can get 20-odd league goals out of Ings I reckon that'd be in with a shout.
Worst signing: Jason Dancho when OGB sticks him on the bench for 8 months and plays somebody entirely unsuitable on the right wing. Lindelof, maybe, just to keep him in the team. (I don't know, I think all the 'big' signings will at least be fine and I dunno enough about the other players.)
Outlandish prediction: I don't know how outlandish it is to say Leicester might finally not fall over before the top four finish line. Probably "not very" but it's as outlandish as I can think of without just making up a silly fib.
Any other thoughts? I am not excited for football to be back and to be staring down the barrel of dozens more United games.

Winner: I don't really care so long as City and PSG are disappointed again.
Runner up: One of City or PSG hopefully, having been defeated in the most heartbreaking fashion.

Any other thoughts? I really don't think Grealish is the player City needed. They only actually finished on 86 points last year. Despite there claiming to be improvements, it was largely the entire Liverpool defence overruning hospital wards that really won them the league.
The top 4 could legitimately finish in any order this year. I still genuinely believe Liverpool have the best first XI, but the two in blue have the squad game by far. I'm hoping all of our injuries can piss off this year.

Depending on how that 14th comes about (ie if it doesn't come off the back of a late run of form/everyone else down there being shit) then that still probably qualifies as false hope.
