Who've you lot got for the Grand National? Be it by choice or by sweepstake. List of 'em all here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/horse-racing/35962235).

The race tarts at 5:15PM and it will be live on Channel 4. Watch it here (http://www.tvcatchup.com/watch/4?channel=4).

I've added a poll but it's limited to 10, hence the limited selection.

Check the odds here (http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing/aintree/17:15/winner).

Current favourite is Many Clouds.
Bottom of the pile is Aachen, who I'm gonna have a little bet on after reading about it.

Let me cast your mind back to April 6th 2013, the day of the 166th Grand National. It was won by 66/1 horse Auroras Encore. But, more importantly, the jockey was Ryan Mania.
Now fast forward a day to April 7th, Wrestlemania 29, John Cena vs The Rock. Hold on, WrestleMANIA? And the jockey was Ryan MANIA? Well why didn't everyone have a sneaky bet on that horse that weekend? :happycry:

So I've chosen my horse by the best jockey name: Robbie Power. That's right, Robbie POWER. Boss name. He's riding Gilgamboa, hence it's inclusion in the poll. :baz: £2.50 EW @67, and Coral places to 5th.

I've spent three quid on three horses in the work sweepstake and got:

Sr Des Champs - 25/1 but no longer being ridden by Ruby Walsh as he's done his wrist.
Pendra - 66/1
Home Farm - 100/1

Dunno whether to bother with an actual bet or not.

Morning Assembly @22/1
Just a Par @40/1
£2.50 each way on both.

Easy money.

Obviously it's mostly a lottery, but I've somehow won on 5 out of the last 7 nationals or something silly. Today I'm on

Sir De Champs 25/1
Ucello Conti 36/1
Unioniste 40/1
Ballycasey 70/1

Probably be on all to make it over the first fence again as well.

Ballycasey £2.50 e/w (daughter 1) @ 50
Double Ross £2.50 e/w (daughter 2) @100
The Druid's Nephew £5 e/w (mother) @16

Gilgamboa is my main pick. Got a few quids stuck on other ones.

I got Conti in the sweep, too, but didn't bother putting any other bets on.

I'll get 135 back if the useless cunt wins it.

That basically translates to me being £8 down at the end of the race.

My two choices came 2nd and 4th so can't complain.

Fucking hell a loose horse hit Conti that was the reason for the pull up. :D

Gilgamboa came 4th, thanks to Robbie Power. Easiest £43.75 I've made.

Tune in next year for another top jockey name tip.

We had £2.50 each way (free bet) on Rule the world banking £103.13. Also had the same on Goonyella banking £13.

In other news I had £10 on Shut The Front Door and £2.50 each way on Many Clouds but they are a couple of bottling pricks

Oh, and we had a quid on Home Farm which did nothing.

I had a few quid on four different horses, of which The Last Samuri was one. Motherfucker.

'Mouse' was on TV here tonight. That's an awful story about the son.
