These Walkers Max Fiery Peri Peri are another decent offering from a knock-out line.
Quavers have brought back salt and vinegar and prawn cocktail varieties.

There's basically no other crisp worth eating, they need to ban all the others and force them to do those in every flavour.

I confirm. Those jalapeno ones are top 3 selected next to flamin hot monster munch and transform-a-snack
Just had some of these.

Pretty decent, wouldn't have minded a bit more heat though.

Kinda relative to the thread as they have a crisp-like coating, but the sweet chilli coated peanuts from Tesco are magnificent.

I keep reading about food shortages over here, but I'm yet to experience it myself. The prices have gone up, but I think that's just the shops being a bunch of chancers.

We’ve lost the food in those weird household bargain shops that sold food because it was all imported. The Range, Home Bargains, etc.
Transform-a-snack and scampi fries RIP also.

I've seen emptier shelves than usual. As far as I understand it, it's a shortage of HGV drivers as the cheap Poles have fucked off and it's impossible to get a licence here. My company's truck driver has done a runner as someone offered to literally double his pay. You can't get agency drivers for love nor money.
HGV driving is the job to be in right now.

These are the best crisps I've had in a long time:

I tell you what, the continent has in a very few short years gone from being paupers of the crisp game to its kings and leaders. Those Spanish fried egg ones are well documented now, but I had some Jura cheese ones from a French service station earlier which tasted just like something off a cheeseboard. We have a lot of catching up to do.

Nik Naks have been dead to me for years since I discovered Kurkure masala munch and variations thereof. Sensational stuff. Sainsbury's does these great cheese and jalapeno Polish Nik Nak knock-offs which are superb too.
Nik Naks aren't "full" anymore, there's a lot more air in the middle. That's why they're shitter I think.
Aldi knock off version is actually better, but I need to get on these Wotsits it appears.

That's exactly it, they're not near as dense as they used to be.

There's a shop aimed at all the Asian students nearby which has a wacky crisp section. There are some kind of Malaysian garlic things which are great but absolutely reek, and I'm tempted to try the lime flavour Lays but they're £3 so I can't justify the gamble if they're shit.

Are those effectively just Cheetos?
They're basically an improvement on (modern) NikNaks. How that compares to a Cheeto I couldn't tell you, haven't had them since about 1997.

Yup. The Longhorn ones are superb. The jalapeno/dill ones are great too, and the chorizo ones.
Yeah like Pipers a lot. I've got some of the chorizo ones on the go as we speak.
FFS. Everyone was absolutely buzzing over them after they were donated as a snack at a recent work event, and I left before having any. although someone did moan that there was no cheese and onion, despite all the mega looking flavours, such as chorizo.
