I read that this is the 49th successive United FA Cup tie which has been televised. The BBC don't even need eyeballs on their adverts either.
I'm on under 1.5 and 1-0 Derby, although Derby are fucking wank themselves.

Jesus, the iplayer stream for this is absolute gash.
What's the issue with it?
randomlegend
29-01-2016, 08:00 PM
The quality is just rubbish.
Sure that's not an issue at your end? I'm only watching on a smallish laptop screen but it looks HD to me.
randomlegend
29-01-2016, 08:03 PM
I'm watching on a 23 inch monitor (so not exactly huge) and it looks wank. I can't imagine what the issue would be my end.
It automatically adjusts the quality if your internet connection is slow. I'm not sure if there would be anything else. Mine is definitely working fine though.

Daley Blind is far too lightweight (without any creative pay-off). Put him behind the striker so he can 'drop back', and remember United have got Morgan Schneiderlin. He would probably win the league with that.
Jimmy Floyd
30-01-2016, 04:40 PM
Yeah but he has a high work rate and plays in a number of positions. He can come on in the 74th minute of every game, I guess.

Stuttgart have just scored what ought to be a deserved late winner against Hamburg. This has been a fabulously open game. Villareal vs Granada up next.
Jimmy Floyd
30-01-2016, 07:20 PM
Villarreal should absolutely scalp Granada. That said, I reckon Udinese are now the worst of the three Pozzo clubs.

He got a knee injury at the end of last season. Today was the first time he's been back in the squad since.

Also, lol at Barry Richardson coming on at 46 and keeping a clean sheet.
In Glasgow to watch Celtic demolish Ross county in this cup semi. Which is unfortunate. The weather is miserable too.
Insigne has just scored a beauty of a free kick to put Napoli 2-1 ahead against Empoli. Good game this, I always enjoy watching Napoli. I hope they can hold Juventus off and win the league. Good day of football ahead; I'll watch Bayern vs Hoffenheim next then decide between Real Madrid vs Espanyol and the Milan derby. Leaning towards the latter at the moment.

Me too. As it's much more of an occasion it feels like I should go for it, but Inter are boring and I haven't seen Zidane's Real yet. Hmm.
Either way it'll be the only game I'll see this weekend so I'll be annoyed if it's crap.

Zidane's Real are much like the previous edition but without the noncing around to get Rafa sacked.
Watching the Neviller's men at home to Sporting Gijon. I think they'll win this one, or at least I hope they will because Sporting are nigh on a wheelchair team.

The draw for the 5th Round is after MK Dons and Chelsea on the BBC, by the way, and here are the numbers:
1 West Bromwich Albion or Peterborough United
2 Leeds United
3 Arsenal
4 Manchester United
5 Reading
6 Liverpool or West Ham United
7 Manchester City
8 Shrewsbury Town
9 Watford
10 Everton
11 Crystal Palace
12 Blackburn Rovers
13 AFC Bournemouth
14 Tottenham Hotspur
15 Hull City
16 MK Dons or Chelsea

Valencia are absolutely septic. If he manages to turn it around with the lack of effort his players are putting in then fair play, but I can't see it.

If we scrape past West Ham then you'd hope we drew 3, 4, 7 or 16 to potentially progress/avoid a replay. We'll inevitably draw Shrewsbury and proceed to shit it up over two games before a penalty win.

About as comfortable a game as you'll see so no idea why Hazard felt the need to dive so badly, but at least it didn't matter. I can't help but notice our L1 side was much better with Alli and Afobe. What a goal. Oh how important that penalty miss has become.

I only follow the results of Serie A rather than watching it, but Inter seem to have properly shat the bed in the last six weeks.

They've been awful. Clueless, actually.
End of their title chances? Glad to see Napoli winning today, can't have another Juventus title (sorry, Vim).
How has Alex not got a yellow for the penalty? He went with his studs up and failed to meet the ball, no?
Niang looks a decent player.

I didn't think it was a penalty at all.
Terry's leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, if anyone cares.
LA Galaxy for him then.

Can they have any more?

James Richardson's eyebrows and beard are the absolute exact same mix of grey/darkness. Weird.

I just rewound and slow-motioned it. Alex lifts his leg off the ground, and kung-fu kicks him. Makes contact with his toes.
Decent game, I liked the second goal.
Can they have any more?
Probably not saying that, someone in the MLS will pick him up.

Can they have any more?
They have their three designated players so he wouldnt be able to get silly money out of them.

Yeah but he'd already got the shot off, and it was minimal contact.

Just seen the highlights and I think the Hazard challenge probably was a penalty, despite the fact I'm sure he could have stayed up. Him rolling around like his leg was about to come off for at least a minute before getting up and sprinting over to take it still makes him a massive wanker though.
Magic - No it was after the shot that the keeper saved.

Yeah the rebound shot, which he still managed to make contact with, it was only after he'd swiped at it that he touched Alex on the way back down and made out like he'd been shelled.
Ah was it? Fair enough.
Lazio-Napoli in midweek. Juventus have Genoa at home so it could be when they go top.

JT is more of an FC Dallas man I reckon.
His quotes are good. 'No doubt they'll sign one or two great centre backs', because he knows they don't have a clue.
The 'Abramovich Era' is over, chaps, not in the sense that Roman's leaving, but the new TV deal levels the money playing field and means you have to be well run to succeed, which we are not. I'd be surprised if I see us win the league again. But that's ok. I never thought I'd see it four times.

Steady on. (Unless I've missed something, in which case RIP.)

Nah, John Terry is the archetypal LA Galaxy signing. I'd be surprised if he went anywhere else here. Maybe they'll swap him for Ashley Cole in a year's time.

Cole isn't a designated player either

In the good old days he would have gone up to Rangers and won three titles. Gone, but not forgotten.
He ideally needs to go somewhere where they play pitifully slow football and love a bit of racism. UAE it is.

He could put in a shift for Glenavon then.
He strikes me as a person who would not want to learn another language. I'm guessing Galaxy.
As if silly wage footballers in Qatar and China are learning the local language while they're there.

I heard rumours he's a bit skint due to some dodgy investments and the like, so will probably end up going wherever pays the most.

'Dodgy investments' like, say, the 12.10 at Chepstow.

We'll be back for next season and Danny Wilson is probably slower than Terry anyway, so bring him in.
