Japan have just beaten Taz's boys to reach the final of AFC U23 tournament, and in doing so, cementing their place at Rio.

The qualified teams are;

Brazil (Hosts)
Argentina (CONMEBOL)
Denmark (UEFA)
Germany (UEFA)
Portugal (UEFA)
Sweden (UEFA)
Fiji (OFC)
Honduras (CONCACAF)
Mexico (CONCACAF)
Algeria (CAF)
Nigeria (CAF)
South Africa (CAF)
Japan (AFC)
S.Korea (AFC)

To be confirmed
Iraq or Qatar (AFC)
USA or Colombia (Play-off)

Matches take place from 3rd August, with the final on 20th August.

Might be a bit early for this thread.

I'd love to see more countries taking high-profile national players at the tail of their careers. Seeing Ivan Zamorano win an Olympic medal in 2000 was a bit special.
