Lol at 130 million for Eden Hazard. That's not far off what Abramovich paid for the club.

Fabregas 59.6, Ozil 51.0
Errr...
Hang on - Emre Can 45.8 Roberto Firmino 40.8
Batshit. Love these inane crapfests being squeezed out by CIES.
Suarez is a bargain at £65m.
Sanchez is worth less compare to Kane  and Kane is more than Saurez?
Carlos Bacca is pretty cheap.

That estimation must be taking into account the British hype machine, no? Not sure how you could explain Kane and Sterling (and Martial) otherwise.

I saw this list the other day, it's completely and utterly batshit mental.
I don't know what's more interesting, this or where Pep is going next.

Less the hype machine than the amount of money swilling around means that English clubs just don't need to sell anymore.
Needed a good laugh, cheers.

Glad I can help. :P

Again, it's really not that bad. Isn't this just supposed to represent the value at which the club would sell? Then yeah, Kane would be 90 million, even though he's not "worth" 90 mil by conventional metrics. Hazard might be a little too high but he's still Chelsea's talisman and played everyone off the field last season.

I mean, it's both, because that doesn't account for the likes of Sanchez being less-valued.
I also have a hard time believing that if Real Madrid came steaming in with a 70m bid for Harry Kane Tottenham wouldn't bite their hand off.

I realised only today that the whole 'England hype-machine means all English players are overvalued' misses a key point. It was whilst I spunked £30m on an Everton winger who'd played one half decent season at the age of 20 on FM.
I paid it because I needed a bigger squad having been exposed the year before, and he was, as a home grown U21, not going to take up a squad place. I also paid over the odds for another 28 year old English player to meet the squad restrictions.
Which, I'd have thought, is probably a big driver in the price of English players in Prem-Prem transfers.

That's what drove the transfers of Sinclair, Delph and others to City in real life.

The amount of money being spent on players is fucking obscene. How much did Vardy and Mahrez cost Leicester?
Where's Arsenal's Troy Deeney?

Levy would be found dead with an orange segment in his mouth I imagine.

These things are always a bit fucky. I just saw some "official calculation" that said Premier League was the 7th best league in the world based on #stats, behind the mighty Argentina and Brazil, amongst others.

Our second tier is better than Argentina. The latter has 30 teams in one table ffs.

How the fuck is Kane worth even £45 million never mind 70 or 90? After Andy Carroll's transfer pisstakes I would have thought you lot down south would have learned that just beause the press and Levy take the piss with fees it doesn't actually mean they are worth paying.
If his name was Harry MacKane he'd be 15 million tops.

I agree with you on that. The EPL and Championship are bloody good leagues.

Some of the names quoted are fucking hilarious. Anyone that pays half of Isco's value needs to be sending me their sort code, account number and pin. 62 million. Fuck off.
Busquets at 50 million. The whole list is a farce. Ross Barclay at 39.7 million. hahahahhahaha
Is there anyone on that list who we actually think might leave for the value they are quoted at? Pogba perhaps?

The "value" here is probably a concotion of the value of their contracts & potential transfer value, with sprinkles of other things such as age and maybe marketing value (if you can measure that).
Kane being higher than both Aguero and Suarez, for instance, is probably just because he's that much younger and has one more year of contract as well.
Admittedly, one year of Kane contract probably doesn't even amount to two years of Suarez contract, so maybe it's just arbitrarily weird.

Also remember that list is Euro.
Busquets could well go for more than that (£37m), I reckon. He's been one of the best midfielders for quite a few years now, and amazingly he's still only 27.
