Anywho I didn't want to ruin the thread about series and movies about this.

It's the end of 2015. What about a voting for the best tvshow 2015. And the best in each area ( comedy, drama, action etc...all based in imb definition)?

Same about movies.

I can make it but since I am not British it will be very American based. Dunno if your guys patriotism can take it.

My idea is first a selection of 10 ish chosen by a panel of posters and then cut it to 5 with the winner chosen by public voting.

From an entirely selfish point of view, I'd find that quite useful when looking for something to watch.

Forget the panel. Just take nominations, then the ten most nominated shows go into a poll. There's already a thread for the best films of the year.

I'll nominate The Leftovers, which has been the best thing on TV for two years running.

Seems a bit confusing. I prefer a more organized. Maybe the first commentary on the thread to show the selections.
