It's probably a bonus for Neymar that he's got people around him at club level to take the spotlight away from him. If you push a player into the leading role at too young an age, they can go either way. I have no doubt he has the talent to play a role like that, but this has given him a chance to grow into it, rather than jumping into the fire straight away.

I think it's more the fact he is in the shadow of Messi /Ronaldo that help him grow without the pressure of being the greatest like those two are fighting for ( and losing in my opinion, Maradona shit on both).

Messi is a fantastic player who got really better due to his rivalry with Ronaldo. My point at the time was people calling him the best ever. Time showed I was right.
