Pretty much, it's 2-Tone as a whole but people from the Specials were part of the reveal. They had to get the EFL involved to allow the dancer mascot logo to be worn

You'd have to be a full kit wanker to get any worth out of that seeing as it's the shorts/socks that really make it.
Anniversary kits though. No thanks. Fuck the heritage rounds or whatever they call them in the NFL. Let's not be having any of that.

I mean if you're not getting number 9 from China for under a tenner if you feel an urge to wear a LFC kit then you're doing it wrong.
Having discovered in the lockdown that football shirts match jogging bottoms for comfort at home, I was thinking for ordering number 3 once shipping from China seems less risky!

Where's the best place to get knockoff kits? Preferably classic ones.
Plenty of sellers on DH Gate do retro: https://m.dhgate.com/product/retro-world-cup-2002-england-soccer-jersey/464428986.html?invitorid=iuuIZ3a3
I find your best bet is to search for a players name who is likely to be on the shirt you’re after (ie Shearer) and then just buy it without the name if you don’t want it. Reason being lots are listed as like ‘Classic Retro Shearer 9 black and white stripe shirt’ to avoid Newcastle suing them, or at least requesting for the listing to be removed.
Gray Fox
31-05-2020, 04:31 PM
Yeah I've used it a few times now. Searching by club isn't going to quite get you the same results.
Only thing I'd suggest is sort it by best selling/reviews. I've not heard good things from people who've had names/numbers on the back either. For the bog standard shirt though I struggle to tell the difference.

That may have been the case once (and even then, what may seem like "reveling" on the surface might not be so accurate), but that's not been the tone recently. I'm not saying you're not within your rights to do it, but it's just low.

The new Brighton kit is shocking.
Yeah I'm not a big fan. It isn't what I think of as a Brighton kit (stripes, dammit) - it's inspired by the '83 cup final kit which was before my time. Although Giggles' reason sounds a realistic (and slightly depressing) possibility. A run of 'proper' stripes had lasted since '98 at least. http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Brighton_and_Hove_Albion/Brighton_and_Hove_Albion.htm

Yeah, I'm not au fait with all the history but it annoys me when teams that have a specific style of shirt, be it stripes, hoops, quarters etc, abandon the format. That just looks like an Everton kit.
Like Barcelona with their quarters/Croatia (?) effort this season or last. No thanks. I'm sure one of the Milans came up with something equally appalling in recent times.

I always liked that pale blue Skint one (and the accompanying pink away which was pioneering and they should still make - I have no idea, maybe they do).
Dreadful stuff, Giggs.
Yep it totally looked like Everton, niko, as we were in white shorts and blue socks too.
I'm less fussed about history betrayal when it's a neutral team (agree about the Croatia copy though). I liked Barca's half-and-half kit. https://images.daznservices.com/di/library/GOAL/cf/36/lionel-messi-samuel-etoo-thierry-henry-barcelona_zwypm1duero31a6qywfb6aqxh.jpg?t=-1999641213&w=%7Bwidth%7D&quality=80

So Liverpool home and Corinthians away on FIFA 21. Job done.
Printed on badge is a big disappointment. Cheapens the whole thing, while they raise the price. £70/100 for the shirt is outrageous.
The actual design has divided opinion. New Balance were delivering top efforts by the end and then to see Nike palming off with a template isn't great.

Those are players, the fans shown are all mixed race (not black - never black).
The only time you see a black guy on these things is if it's in a particularly white-friendly product being sold (bank account, gambling, lager) in which case you see exactly one black guy joining his chalky friends in an improbable social situation.
