My boy Sergi is reporting it. I doubt he's not sacked tonight.

The Stone Roses coming back didn't seem to get that much attention. Has time allowed people to realise that they only ever made half a good album?

The Second Coming is a musical masterpiece.

My facebook feed of mainly mancs were pretty giddy about it. I guess everyone else gives less of a fuck.

I once read that two billion Mancunians were at Spike Island, so that isn't surprising.

Surely not, I hear Real Sociedad stand against the immediacy of modern life.

Don't really see the big deal. He would have kept his credibility by staying at Everton but he's done very well financially out of these moves and the fact is he'll get a job at your Villa's/Sunderland/Newcastle's in the future so it's just a phase of management. It is interesting though how badly we do abroad though, compared to how well the nationals do coming here in comparison.

Has he done badly or just been bang average?

I dont follow Spain but from the few bits I've read and heard on podcasts it's been completely rubbish.

Oh it's no doubt been worth it for the money (Christ only knows how much Man Utd would have had to pay him to get him out of that 6 year deal), but it's come at a cost, in that he's unlikely to get a chance at a club above the bracket of the three you mention again.

I think he'd still be a contender for any non top 4 (plus Spurs/Liverpool)-sized club.

It looks pretty bad from this:

The media was similarly critical, with a summary of the game in local newspaper Diario Vasco complaining that "when this team takes one step forward, it takes two back", and adding that their efforts on Friday night had been directed by "impulse" rather than a clear plan.

Most damning of all was a comment piece by Diario Vasco's Inaki Izquierdo, who concluded that Moyes "still bears the impression of someone who has only just arrived and doesn't understand the club, the players, the league, the city, the opponents, the referees, the languages, the stadia, the timetables…"

Oh and he's apparently spent a shitload too.

Oh well, unlucky Davie. Maybe he can take over some middle sized team in the Championship.

Does he speak Spanish yet?

He doesn't, which is embarrassing to be honest.

He should go to the next shit bottom half club which sacks its manager.

Reverred at Everton, loathed at United and misunderstood in the basque country. Someone should make a film.

Lewis

I think he was pitied rather than loathed.

I'm not sure why if feels like there's this need to gloat at him getting sacked. He's not really done anything wrong other than a) have a crack at one of the best jobs in football and b) try his hand overseas.

I guess he could have stayed at Everton for another 10 years and competed for 7th place.
