Keeping up with the Kardashians. I can't help it.
Bernard Matthew's Turkey Drummers.
Not only shit, but shit made for children. Shit made for children that keeps getting progressively more and more shit.
And yet somehow, they are an essential part of my existence.

:nodd:
I haven't seen them all, but I see quite a lot of both that and Doc Martin in my gran's and both are solidly entertaining guff.
Speaking of Doc Martin, fucking Sigourney Weaver turned up in an utterly inconsequential cameo last week. I wonder how that one came about.

My mum sometimes watches New Tricks, I think it's alright. My favourite part of the programme is:
Roy Mitchell, Creator of the series; being a supporter of the English football team West Bromwich Albion, named numerous characters after past and then-current players. The original three main male characters derived their names from the club's oldest stand, "The Halfords Lane Stand", at The Hawthorns football ground in West Bromwich.

I did not know that. The autistic guy who isn't in it anymore used to wear an SI games sponsored shirt, I want to say AFC Wimbledon, so that kind of fits.
I particularly like looking out for episodes that end on something of a downer (like 'Yes you caught my husbands killer, well done there, but my children are still dead and I have cancer') only for it to fade to credits and very upbeat Waterman theme tune.

The most unsurprising opinion I've ever read on this forum. Though I've heard a few things from my 'sources' that makes me think you might be right. Are you just basing this on his 'media persona', or have you heard stories?

And the song he sang with Jacqui Abbott on Pointless was possibly the worst thing I've ever heard.

He's good at what he does, but he needs to stop thinking he speaks for Hull.
