That's still an issue for WWE and not an issue of whether the people making and involved in the show have 'smashed it' on producing a good product, which was the original point.

If we're using viewing figures as the only measure of success then the most recent Wrestlemania is still probably better than a the majority of non-WWE wrestling that has ever happened and I don't think any of us want to live in a world where that is the case.

Just finished it.

First hour was good and then it turned to shit when they had Shane do a promo immediately followed by Lacey/Corbin promo and then a Lacey match.

The only good bits outside of the first hour was Rick/Styles and the heel turn. Oh and the Mike/Maria cucking thing which actually drew a lol from me.

This was also the first RAW/SD I've watched since the 'NO WRESTLING DURING THE ADVERTS' mission statement and the 2/3 falls match and the break in the main event were so badly done. We can't even get a proper match lasting a decent time because of this shit.

They really need to give Rick and AJ a PPV match which lasts a good 20 minutes.

Well, Raw couldn't have been much worse recently but as always, WWE finds a way by effectively taking the show's main title off TV.

A slightly weird show in that most of the matches I thought were going to be awful worked around their limitations better than I expected and weren't as bad as I expected but none of the ones I was looking forward to really lived up to expectations.

I'm curious as to where the KO / Shane stuff is going. I saw something suggesting it's leading up to actually writing Shane off TV or into a much reduced role but it wasn't clear if that was just speculation or actual backstage chat.
