HIAC was a bit shit all round from what I saw. I was intrigued by Orton Vs Jeff for about 5 minutes but after the 50th "OOH he's rammed him into the wall a bit hard!" spot I got bored and skipped through it, and the finish was fucking laughable. Orton rolled out the way and had a cup of tea and a slice of cake before Jeff fell off.

The Brie and Bryan Vs Miz and Maryse match was fucking stupid too (not that I expected anything else). I mean... Maryse is a 2 time Divas champion... either let her wrestle, of if she physically can't, don't book her.

I skimmed the main event too, but it looked like a typical clusterfuck. Have to echo the previous post... lol at them ending a HIAC because both men are fucked.

I thought it was alright (one of the better PPVs this year) but Maryse/Miz v Bryan/Brie and the main event really let it down.

Orton/Jeff was one of the better HIAC matches recently (despite the sub-par ending)
Becky/Charlotte was alright and the right person won
Ziggler/McIntyre v SHIELD was quality
AJ/Samoa was also really good but should have been in a cell
Rousey/Bliss was boring and predictable.

Basically it fell off a cliff when Brie stepped into the ring which is what usually happens.

The main event was as good as a Takeover headline, the work between Dunne and Ricochet was amazing. Obviously they were going to do a non finish (to build for WarGames and no double champion) but it was still a special match.

Honestly, overall I'd say the show was enjoyable. There were a fair few botches in the main event, but I didn't give a shit. You don't expect great workrate or athleticism in an Undertaker vs Triple H match in 2018, but you do expect good storytelling - and they definitely delivered on that.

It's a shame the Miz v Daniel Bryan match was so weird - not sure what happened with that, it sort of felt like Miz forgot to kick out in time or something.

I'd say it was better than a normal monthly PPV.

That Cruiserweight match was ace, surprised they did the title switch even considering where it is. I'm a sucker for the hometown hero thing.

Just finished that match.

I thought going into it that they were going to put it on Murphy but when the IIconics won I thought they'd do the wrong thing.

Murphy fully deserved that and I really don't understand why Cedric held the title for so long, he's a good wrestler but lacks a personality.

Nice that they gave them a good spot in the card too, as Cruiserweight stuff gets buried on pre-shows.

Surprised they gave the main event almost 30 minutes, Undertaker looked like he was on his last breath a few times. Kane was also so useless that I half expected him to turn on 'Taker.

NXT is the number 1 show.

You could just watch the Takeovers (their PPV's) and you'd get some quality stuff.

I think 4 or 5 NXT matches this year have been given a 5* rating by Dave Meltzer. The last one a WWE main roster match got one was in 2011.

True but the matches he has rated that highly (for NXT) are legitimate 5 star matches.

He picked out one of the Gargano/Ciampa matches (you could make a case for all 3), the NXT North American Title ladder match, Andrade Almas/Gargano and Moustache Mountain/Undisputed Era match (probably the one you could make a case on not being a 5*) on a regular show.

Probably Dunne's worst match that I've seen but it was still quality work from him and Dar.

Really nice that they kept the flow with some storylines coming from the UK tournament.

A little low on promos but I think that will be the way for a bit to get people more accustomed to more names in the UK scene.
