Phonics can you set something up please for site donations?

Yeah, who is paying for all this, how and how much is it?

This place should be a £10 yearly subscription imo.

I'd subscribe happily.

I'd go with that for definite.

I don't think it should be a subscription. Just get a donation set up and I'm sure people would chip in. I would and I'm not classed as an "active" poster.

£10 is way too much. If everyone came over from TTH, we'd only need a couple of quid each.

We can work down the amount dependant on the cost of hosting.

There seems to be plenty of people willing to chip in for running costs (me included if this becomes the permanent home), might be an idea to put up a breakdown of how much the hosting etc is so we all know where we are.

It should be voluntary amounts as there are poor posters (Boyd) and wealthy (me). Of course geographical location you have to factor in like me being a tight Scottish cunt. Let's just make Luca pay for it all.

Disco

Voluntary of course, what I mean is if posters are going to be contributing then it should be transparent. If we're going to do it this way we should all know how much is required and how much has been given.

Kiko isn't allowed to spend it all on hair gel and sweets is what I'm saying.

Yeah, who is paying for all this, how and how much is it?It's running on webspace I paid for, if that's what you mean.

I don't think donations should be taken, unless phonics wants to pay for an updated vbulletin license fee.

I'll settle for a google adsense bar along the bottom and those of you who don't block ads will get me about 17p a month.

When we settle on a skin, I'll see about making one that matches it.

Wait, this is Baz's forum now?

Transparency indeed.

Nah not really. Why not ask Saint to do it then?

It seems he paid for it - but phonics seems to be running operations logistically.

I think a little donations button would be the way forward.

If, for example, a skin needs to be bought then a poll is opened to see how X amount of money is spent on the board.

Could also be used as an emergency fund for when a member needs to be rescued out of a warzone.

I propose a bank system, where people donate as much or as little as they want. Phonics gives us a breakdown of what we need and what for, we raise the money then he shows us invoices for the purchases.

Everytime we need something new we have a fund raising campaign to buy it. Thoughts?

The only transparency will be in the purchasing and the amount raised, donation amounts won't be shown but you get a little badge or something saying 'donated' in your profile.

We need a donation set up to rescue Lofty.

Can we set one up to buy Magic's daughter a new toothbrush?

We should wait for Taz to make the switch and buy it from him. Keep the money in the community.
