I know it's only 10 games in, but given Chelsea's collapse and West Ham's march to glory... who are you now predicting for the title?

City for me. Arsenal still look like could have a mid-season dip as per always. Chelsea are gone. Man Utd could push them if they keep their starting 13/14 players fit - but they need someone to start scoring for them.

Top 4 will have the usual suspects, pointless thread.

City by default because it looks to be between them and Arsenal.

Someone on the radio the other day (possibly Michael Gray) said that the Premier League needs teams from the North East :D

This season is Arsenals chance to win it for sure. Unfortunately I think the usual will happen - a bunch of injuries will fuck them over. As ever they are mostly vulnerable at the back, fi Koscielny gets fucked for a few months they stand no chance, I think, and they don't have a decent backup for Coquelin either (weird to say it like that considering where he was 1 year ago). If they do go out of the CL, and just don't bother with the EURO cup, that may improve their odds.

Since City seems to have kind of sorted out their defence again this season they will take it, I think. Silva and Aguero being out for extended periods again might be a danger, but still they have great depth.

United could do it, but they don't quite look like they have the consistency and while Martial seems a good investment generally, he's not going to be more prolific than for instance Bony, Walcott or Giroud - which says something.

Chelsea are just too far behind and players like Hazard will have had their spirits a bit crushed by now.

That derby had no atmosphere for 45 minutes. I'd like to see Boro back but I doubt they'd survive long. We've got enough to stay up but we need results. Bournemouth will probably drop and its the type of club that'll let their manager stay on board. Norwich might do the same.

Spurs all over it.

Actually the funny thing is that Chelsea are "only" 11 points behind the top.

Which, when you think about it, is not impossible if Chelsea pulled themselves together and found the form of the early season last year. In essence Chelsea and Arsenal have sort of reversed their roles in early season this year (or was it last year Arsenal were shit at the start...?). In the end, Chelsea lost their form and the other teams caught up.

But if it's one team that can keep it going once they DO get started, it would be Chelsea.

11 points is huge gap to make up. That requires your winning 4 games and your rivals losing 4.

Over the course of the season, obviously. What was the biggest gap made up ever?

Spurs all over it.

They could be top 2 with a striker :nono:

If City don't win it they should be ashamed of themselves. They have far greater resources than every other team.

Arsenal 2nd, United 3rd and then an almighty scrap for 4th between various clubs.

Arsenal will be a few points clear at the turn of the year and get a couple of 'unlucky' injuries and City will end up winning before the last day. West Ham and Leicester City third and fourth.

City are rightly favourites, but I reckon Arsenal might hold it together and grab the win this year.
