Going to my bike rides and seeing a bunch of 40/50 year olds. I am usually one of the youngest ones around, which makes it even worse when they drop me but still, it is funny to be one of the youngest people around when riding bicycles as opposed to the old, useless twat when playing football.

Your turn.

My flatmate's bald and successful. I'm not and poor. He's got 2 years on me. That's my excuse.

Being out running and seeing old guys in their 60s on the roads.

Also makes me hope that that's what I'll be like at their age.

This. Seeing people more than twice your age still living it up is quality.

My Dad is far far fitter than I am. It's a little embarrassing. He goes on his bike a few times a week and swims each day. Can't play FM though, so who is really winning. :(

I am old and I embrace it. Some girls tell me I have the mind of a teenager even though they are all in the beginning if theirs 20s. May be because I laugh a lot and smile a lot and generally I am a very happy person.
I wanted to write that I basically try to shag all this 20s but I don't want to destroy my new image of not being a totally cunt.

You're not a totally cunt, Saint. Life begins at 50.

Yes, they don't like to talk about it the day later especially if some girlfriends are near" he is old!" but my not documented view about it is that most girls do suffer of daddy issues.

*beaming in his 'World's Greatest Dad' hat* Not a fan if bowling and I am quite egoistic, I do go out with my kids for them but also as an leverage to score with single mom's. Yes I am a cunt. Deal with it.

Next you'll be playing bowls in your weekend-cardigan.

Fair enough if there's lots of similar aged people about, but Pepe's is just odd.

Surely someone you remember as a professional footballer being a near fifty year old idiot should be in the other thread.

Had my dad and previous employer both ask if this 'Amazon' site was a trusted retailer.

Made me feel like an IT God.

I remember my old man in the late 90s saying 'Amazon co UK is meant to be good', in the days before saying 'dot' in between web address words was widespread enough for him to know about it.

Buying things off play.com is probably a mark of being old now.

The independent/specialist record shops went first (Andys Records and Our Price) because they went against the New Labour ethos; MVC survived a for a little longer because its shitty membership scheme was a proto-ID system; and Virgin folded in solidarity with Tony Blair. God knows how HMV staggers on.
