Got my vote in for the likely losing local candidate, but national winner.

Did anyone encounter an actual exit poll?

Mine was quite busy, although I don't think I've been out to vote early-ish in the morning before.

Postal vote didn’t arrive in time.

Would have been SNP tactically since Labour don’t have a shot here

No public poll

Well that's a shambles. I wonder how wide spread that is.

I left the country on Friday so maybe it’s my fault but surely it should’ve arrived before then

You could have arranged a proxy vote.

I voted Libertarian as that quiz a few weeks ago told me I should. Are we winning?

Just back from it. Alliance. They might take the DUP's seat here (held by the DUP leader at the minute).

I do like the Green candidate and he's a very good local councillor but it's between the DUP and Alliance so FPTP needs must.

Portsmouth South is pretty safe Labour these days, so there was no point in voting for the Reform slaphead. What a shower of shit. Spoiled ballot.

Those odds don't seem great for what feels like a long shot.

That’s an awful bet. I was thinking it was a tenner for that return not 200 quid.

No chance reform get more than 7. I’d be shocked if they got 3.

Spikey M
04-07-2024, 05:20 PM
If I was going to take a punt I'd have bet on 0 seats for Reform. Not even Lewis voted for them ffs.

Anecdotal but two friends who voted labour/Tory last time in Manchester have gone Reform.

According to the polls, Farage is looking like a certainty in Clacton.

Plonked my X in the Labour box. Already forgot the bloke's name.

Him and Lee Anderson are certainties I reckon. Bad is fucked though.

I'll accept anything outside of the expected range. Zero seats would be excellent and very, very funny. 40 seats would cause an absolute meltdown. That's obviously not going to happen though.

The maddest thing about that bet is Baz needed FPTP explaining to him a few days ago :D

Labour here, Tory safe seat but you never know.

Labour for the first time ever. They were the tip on the tactical voting website.

I went Labour again. Not as joyous as previous elections but it’s a means to an end.

Baz

The maddest thing about that bet I just follow the money. We won on a hot dog eating contest bet today.

Perhaps, but BeardMeatsFood (no idea) knew the score and everyone piled on at 12/1.

Fuck off did BeardMeatsFood (Adam) win.

He's a good eater and an entertaining guy (his videos are great) but there's no way he'd win.

Or is he the one that gave you guys the tip? If so, lol.

He posted the tip. Patrick Bertoletti won.

I think he has a go a few years back and did not do well.

Yeah he's done it a couple of times, 10th is his best apparently.

He's a good eater but not someone who can challenge at the top.

Did you leave it? I wonder how low it got after the exit poll.

Edit: 1.12 on Betfair lol
