This might just be the best FPS out there. Unreal combat plus godly Titan machines? All evenly balanced? Amazing weaponry?

Inject it in to my veins. I fucking love this game. Anyone else past?

It's an absolute all timer and third on my list of FPS campaigns behind FEAR and Borderlands 2. Thought I'd hate it as not into all that mech shit but it's so so good.

The campaign is absolutely brilliant on it's own before you even touch multiplayer so yes, definitely worth a punt at that price.

Absolutely worth it for that price. Great campaign and has one all timer of a level in there too.

The first Titanfall was good, but this was just great. Possibly the best FPS of the modern generation. It wasn't super serious(a lot of games fall into this trap of making everything RANKED or COMPETITIVE in their own games) and was able to be great fun. Also an increasingly rare example where a sequel game is an improvement and not a cash grab after the first game does well.

Just a shame they branched it off into Apex Legends and didn't continue down this path.

Titanfall 2's only crime is the mech stuff, and that is stupid because the mech stuff is actually great in the game but it's the reason I never played it until it was free on PS Plus or whatever. I suspect the vast majority of it's sales have come years after release so until the live service cow stops giving reliable milk we can only live in hope of worthy FPS single player successors.

The guys who made Titanfall 2 have since made APEX Legends which is a free to play live service shooter, so they make money flogging you in game purchases like skins etc. It's extremely popular and a bit like GTAV, the studio will probably take a long time to bother with anything else.
