Lewis Hall young player of the year now that he is joining Palace. Should really be starting at Chelsea but whatevs
These are always bullshit when transfer window still has such a large role to play but to save me starting a dedicated thread...
I saw that Messi got 8 very brief domestic cameo appearances and 1 full 90 in Europe at the same age season Doak is going into. He produced 1 goal.
Mr Doak will be improving on those stats this season but that's simply an indicator. What I want to put down in writing is the certainty which everyone should be carrying that this kid is the second coming. His ability to beat a man is already in the elite bracket of the sport, he's currently rushing his final ball/finish but having seen Messi's curve, it seems like that will be coached out of him during the next 12 months.
I suspect he's also not injury prone given his build and heritage (ignoring that melt Tierney).
He's learning from the best too so all factors point to a pretty hilarious inevitability of the Scots producing the greatest player in the world who sounds and looks like Ben Doak.

In all seriousness; are you mentally unwell?
This is bigger than you lad (that's some bar too). My man called Sancho one of the greatest prospects in the game and was doing*
Ronaldo 1
Salah 0
Mane 0
Firmino 0
posts in football threads for all of 12 mins and he's now handing out mental health assessments.
*Am I remembering that right? Was it Ronaldo will outscore any of our front 3?

YOUR TEAM
League Position: 16th
Best player: Enzo Fernandez
Worst player: Marc Cucurella
Unsung hero: Kepa Arrizabalaga, if he stays; if not, whoever replaces him
Best signing: Not a brand new signing but Mykhailo Mudryk, if he finds form, could be the difference between staying up and not
Worst signing: Lesley Ugochukwu screams never doing anything.
Will your manager last the season?: Might do, but the odds are probably against it.
Any other thoughts? There are fellow bottom half teams with worse squads, but most of these teams have some form of identity, or are lean enough as football setups that they all know the direction they are going in. We are a directionless bloated mess and the only thing going for us is that Pochettino might, over time, find a way to create a solid defensive spine. He'll need this by Christmas to keep his job. If you have some nils at the back then individuals can nick you some points. There is no chance of any coherent attacking play this season. That will have to wait.

Will your manager last the season?: I'm not sure who would poach him unless there's a big pull from Serie A? Maybe if it goes tits up for egghead at United.
Any other thoughts?: I think they're pretty well stocked in midfield to replace the outgoings. Gilmour looks like he's about to crack on. Adingra should be the next winger off the conveyer belt.
