I think we last saw each other around 2002.

What’s going on with you?

I remember the name but I can't remember anything about you - although did you have a Dr. House avatar, or was that someone else? I guess the board archivists will be along soon to fill in the background.

Excellent thread title :eyemouth:

I want to say ginner was a bit of a lefty/quite political back in the mists of time, so I can only hope this return is similar to Chinny's [triumphant return] before whichever election he stood in.

On the subject of triumphant returns, I'm not sure 8am on a Sunday morning is the time to be getting much fanfare.

Welcome back! [you can never leave]

That rings a bell.

Amazing how many names of old are still here in the Members List - I’d have assumed more attrition to the demands and responsibilities of real life/Twitter.

I think my most notable legacy was to be the original starter of the Shameful Lustage forever-thread. I still fancy Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

I did once have a dalliance with the Liberal Democrats. Age has however made me deeply cynical, quite a bit richer, and a lot more ungovernable.

Given the current zeitgeist, how concerned are you about being embroiled into a ginner/Glinner controversy and forced to spend your time trolling Mumsnet about transformers, JK Rowling, chicks with dicks etc.?

Well I wasn't about to know sort of thing was being posted in the OG version of that thread but a) Sophie Ellis-Bextor definitely isn't shameful and b) the spirit of the thread has definitely been maintained. Some people on here have inexplicable taste.

@James "won" that thread a while ago and I'm not sure this place has got over the emotional scarring

Like the ones with pics of his girlfriend holding a piece of paper with ginner scrawled on. :D

Hello. What have you been up to?

Hello. What have you been up to?

Clearly libel/I have no recollection but did have some fit girlfriends.

I have a wife and two kids now. Absolutely no chance of her agreeing to that.

Surely it wasn't 2002 either as I remember you and I joined 03. You probably gave up in 04/05.

I remember and I joined in 2005. Pretty sure you were around in like 2010 when people thought the Lib Dems were good?

That sounds like a difficult period that we’d all prefer to forget
