Absolutely bang on with the rotation changing, it's definitely happened twice now since they released batch 3 and you can see it as clear as day. I opened a pick yesterday that had two players in it that I'd completely forgotten were in batch 3 as they were in the rotation a lot to start with and then removed when it changed the first time.

Yet another scummy thing EA do behind the scenes as it essentially means that while the players on the top two rows of that FUT GG tracker are always going to be hard to pack, a sub-section of them are going to be almost impossible to pack at any given moment in time.

Back home and cracked/recycled all of my Rivals stuff and got a 97 Gakpo in there. Might not be the best player but great to have for obvious reasons. Helps the P+P LFC team.

Now using the Tools, I have got it to essentially doing a loop of well over 50 PPs, which gives me usually 20+ dupes. Those then go back into some exchanges and we could go on forever. However I seem to be stuck in the same batch of dupes not really hitting many new players, so I need to choose an SBC to dump into.

I'm thinking Sammy Eto'o is the one. This will likely be my last big SBC of the cycle, given the grind required. No idea if anyone else big is due to drop, but at this point the game is essentially done.

Hit Rivals Div 5 last week and he's just scored hat-tricks in both of my two games in it tonight. Just an uber card.

Tried out Ferland Mendy as a marauding LB and Llorente as the same on the right. Ferland is probably the best LB in the game(I didn't get on with Bobby C). Llorente is great going forwards but a little bit weak in defence. Both having relentless+ means they can bomb up and down all day long.

Been experimenting with choosing players based solely on their PS+ too. Playing a 4-2-3-1 or the 4-3-2-1 with everyone in and around Eto'o having Incisive Pass+ is silly fun. On this note, how does Odegaard not have that PS+ please? Have they ever watched him?

I just need somewhere to put this fodder now. Eusebio, Ginola and Odegaard the most obvious options. I got a small heart attack before too. Got a GOTG Brazil Icon, but it turned out to be Zico. Great card, but I was hoping for one of the other three.

This is what I've been doing:

Opening 84 x 10s
Still building 88 and 89 exchange packs - this bit may seem pointless now due to the infinite 84x10s, but it's crucial for the next step
Open the 88 and 89 exchange packs, but until you have as stacked as fuck club - I'm regularly discarding 20-30 players from the 89s
When I hit a big dupe from the 84 x 10s I then go and build the player picks. You'll end up with 70 to 80 of the cunts and that'll give you ample chance to hit more big cards to put into a 94 segment.
Having just done two 94 segments I'm going to have to re-stock on the higher rated fodder now, which will mean putting some high rated cards into other things until I've built up enough of a reserve.
The icon pick helps as well as you're mostly exchanging cards that are now useless in the big hitting SBC's for another likely high rated pick.
Obviously I avoid putting all 93s and 92s if I can into anything while I'm building the WARCHEST to assault an 94.

I've packed Adama Traore about 4 times now which has helped, but doing the cycle above I had him and a dupe Martinez before I built the player picks which then added in a dupe Tobido and Bruno, plus a load of 92-94 cards.

I suppose another way to do it would be to just focus on 84 x10s and discard everything that isn't useful for rebuilding one of those until you have enough for a 94 squad, which might well be the most efficient way, but I'm allergic to discarding special cards.

A dupe 96 Giroud and a dupe 94 Guehi from an 84 x 10, but it's come at the wrong time in the cycle when I don't have the fodder reserve so they're going to have to go into Butragueono, which hurts.

I should probably rip the band aid off and start shunting those Copa wank cards into SBC's, but I just can't bring myself to, which I think makes me technically deranged as I'm never going to play a single game with any of the random Ecuadorians I have.

Ive got a 98 KDB duplicate and not sure what to do with it. I have no interest in doing Eusebio or Ginola. Moore looks interesting though. Anyone used him or is he too small with not enough defensive playstyles?

I've been going about it almost the same way as Yev. Wait til your club is stacked and you're getting like 20 or so dupes a time from the 89 exchange. Then go in and build as many picks as you can make. Usually you'll get around 60 if you don't also use those Libertadores cards.

From the 60 or so picks you are going to get a stacked club if its your first time. If it isn't, you'll have at least 15-20 dupes of cards that are 88+. You may hit a big pull, you may not but you'll have two high rated segments ready to go. You might have to add one or two cards but you'll get a 90/91 squad without really trying.
If you do hit a 96+ dupe then it'll bring you closer to a 92/93.

Is there a way for the tools to say how many cards of a certain rating your club contains? EDIT: Found it.

According to the tools the total number of cards in my club is 324 from 90-95. That goes up to 365 if you go up to 97.

Given that only 20/23 of the Eusebio squads are of any substance, I'd need 11x20= 220 cards that would go into the squad that need to fit into 93/94 squads. Now obviously some of those cards are in my 2 main teams, but it shows I could complete him now without any real trouble or grind if I chuck the not used cards.

Never mind the 1.6m in coin I'd have to top that up. I do want to save that in case R10/R9 ever drop low enough in price.

I'm waiting to see who we get today to see if its worth just club dumping into Eusebio and Ginola. Hopefully a Maldini or a something similar.

The work is done. Maybe ended up using about a squad and a half worth from the club, but most of it was from 84x10, into the exchange, into picks and then into the SBC. 91 rateds and even the 92 rated squads are reasonably easy, but those 93s cut out your ability to use many of your 88-91 dupes. The Hamm/Eusebio ones must be a very tough slog.

I've been running a 4-3-2-1 again to see how it goes now we have essentially best possible teams and it's crazy. I have Ginola as the RF set to push in behind. I've noticed a fair few have someone like Bompastor, Karchaoui, Frimpong and the like there. That's a big mismatch at the back post and also strength wise. A ball knocked in behind/over the top is one he wins in most situations.

I'm liking him, but loving Lahm. I have a hawk on him and it gives him 90+ in every single individual stat, with a hell of a lot of 99s about. I've tried him as both an attacking LB and an attacking CM. He's actually probably a LM or something similar, because then you get the most from his PS+. It's also great to have players with Incisive Pass+ facing the goal the whole time.

His passing and defending are functionally perfect. His dribbling is also top notch but he has standard press proven which adds a little extra. So the only things that need touching are pace and physicals. The extra shooting boost is just a nice extra.

This is what I've been doing:

Opening 84 x 10s
Still building 88 and 89 exchange packs - this bit may seem pointless now due to the infinite 84x10s, but it's crucial for the next step
Open the 88 and 89 exchange packs, but until you have as stacked as fuck club - I'm regularly discarding 20-30 players from the 89s
When I hit a big dupe from the 84 x 10s I then go and build the player picks. You'll end up with 70 to 80 of the cunts and that'll give you ample chance to hit more big cards to put into a 94 segment.
Having just done two 94 segments I'm going to have to re-stock on the higher rated fodder now, which will mean putting some high rated cards into other things until I've built up enough of a reserve.
The icon pick helps as well as you're mostly exchanging cards that are now useless in the big hitting SBC's for another likely high rated pick.
Obviously I avoid putting all 93s and 92s if I can into anything while I'm building the WARCHEST to assault an 94.

I've packed Adama Traore about 4 times now which has helped, but doing the cycle above I had him and a dupe Martinez before I built the player picks which then added in a dupe Tobido and Bruno, plus a load of 92-94 cards.

Circling back on this. Started doing this last night. Holy fuck was I harming myself not snapping out of the no man left behind mentality.

I would regularly hit a decent dupe but not be able to support it with PP's because I used all the rares saving the commons :face: . I might start throwing that level into gold upgrade (rare or not) and stack them up until I do a PP run and open them at that point.

As both were so cheap I did Raul and Moore and gave them a try. Raul really is just a poacher type. Get the ball to him within 25 yards and he can shoot and score easily, but he's not the one for breaking down a low block/playing on the counter.

Moore surprised me. Very, very good against your dribbly/wiggly types. Eusebio, Best, Garrincha, Messi etc. His really high agility/balance combined with Jockey+ mean he can switch direction to catch up again instantly. However the trade off is he is not pushing Haaland off the ball and you might as well not bother trying to challenge in the air with him.
