You won't give a fuck when you've signed Mbappe.

When I saw the thread title I thought Thatcher had come back from the grave to sell off all their council housing just to cement her legacy in the city.

Hopefully the Ricketts family buy them.

Not Robert Kraft.

Has Roman Abramovich been sufficiently rehabilitated yet?

Form an orderly queue.

Christ I hope it's someone bad. Do the Saudis have a Prince Andrew figure?

I couldn't care less. Also our supporters wouldn't allow the proper dodgy owners.

How much money could a TTH consortium whip up? Maybe not for Liverpool, but I'm sure we could buy Gateshead or someone.

Spikey M

We could buy Southend for about a grand.

Possibly the whole city.

Well, in a year, if we can double our money every 4 days...

It's at the point whereby does it really matter? What are the options a nation state or someone loading a load of debt on the club?

Makes sense from an investment standpoint, considering the squad is clearly past its peak. Probably had the look at the state of play in the top seven and didn't fancy another round.

How do you think they are going to stop it?

By pissing and moaning in an unbearable accent.

FSG are responsible and aware of the importance of the supporters' approval. That doesn't mean the next owners will be decided by a twitter poll but Anfield will be razed to the ground long before a dirty Arab/Hasidic/Ukranian fuck is allowed in.

Lol at the supporters not allowing it, they'll be right in there like the Gay Geordies if the club is winning, hold your nose and cheer success.

That would be amazing. Sadly he would never pay what FSG will probably want [nor will anyone sane]. The Sultan of Brunei, Nick Leeson or President Xi.

The whole country should do a whip around to make it happen. I'll start the Go Fund Me.

I eagerly await the Emir of Kuwait being branded 'the right sort of Arab owner' before collapsing the club into a state of utter ruin with his slant drilling operation under Anfield.

He'll have had more boyhood clubs than Robbie Keane.

Probably means they've taken us as far as they can/are willing to go. When they came in they stated they were sold on buying the club by the promise of FFP being adhered to by all.
Since then they've massively increased the revenue streams, build a new state of the art training facility and upgraded the stadium as far as it can reasonably now go.

However even with all of this, the competition does not play the same way and so they either have to break their own rules in how they operate, just ride the steady decline, or leave.

I'm not sure I like this news. Better the devil you know and all that.

So they’re not actually for sale then. What a shocker the Athletic reporting tripe.
