Are you a fan of Halloween? Are you participating? Personally I enjoy the adult parties, the horror films, and decorating my house but wish I could just leave sweets on the doorstep to avoid the contant knocks. The little fuckers would ransack that in seconds though.

Proper mong territory to even acknowledge it.

It’s only an excuse now for mongs to think it’s one free night of lawlessness.

Love Halloween. And I shall be celebrating thanksgiving in a few short weeks. Thank you.

It's a good excuse for a party, as Giggles said.

Completely unrelated, but I would welcome death's warm embrace on this Monday evening.

I don't like it, no. I don't remember even liking it as a child. I've always been very anti-fancy dress though (grown people hosting fancy dress parties is one of my "pet hates", I otherwise consider myself a very social person but I just won't attend anything like that on general principle) so I'm probably not the best person to ask.

It was all about bonfire night when we were children (catholics being a far greater threat than skeletons), we lived in the perfect place for trick or treating too but I don't remember it ever going on.

Bovid or Hangbover?

The pinnacle when we were kids was "Mischief Night" (I realise this makes me sound like I had some sort of Dickensian childhood), the day before Bonfire Night. It was Halloween minus the sweets and the dressing up. You basically gathered in big groups and just egged the houses of all the people you didn't like and ran off. Just an organised evening of anti-social behaviour, really. In hindsight it was a horrendous way to carry on.

We took the kids trick or treating and I'll probably shove a horror on tonight. Not massively arsed about it other than that.

Bovid or Hangbover?

I couldn't say for sure but I think it's Colombian rather than Chinese.

Of all the crappy house parties I've been to over the years, Halloween ones have consistently been the most fun, with NYE permanently in last place.

I dressed my daughter like an avocado and walked her around downtown.

I put a few pumpkins out the front and get sweets in for the neighbour kids (nonce etc.) because I'm not a scrooge but that's as far as I go.

I take my daughter to the handful of houses in my mum and dads street where I still know who lives there.

Did go out on Saturday night thinking I might see a few sexy witches, but thankfully nobody seemed to bother with it.

Decorating your house is proper nonce territory.

I can feel my attitude towards it just starting to soften, after having despised it since I was a child. Concerning times.

I think I only went trick or treating once as a kid and it was strictly on a "We go here because my mate reckons this street is full of rich people .... that will have lots of sweets." Costumes for one night quickly felt like too much effort.

One of the houses near me has a skeleton in molten lava setup. The smell of burning plastic from the place tells me that's about to ignite for real.

I do pumpkins for my kids (well, singular pumpkin this year, couldn't be arsed) but absolutely delighted it's been pissing down here since about 4pm, so no trick or treaters.

I thought people would have done most of their fireworking at the weekend but it sounds like the fucking Troubles have restarted in Belfast tonight.

It’s all kicking off in the slums of Dundee for the 3rd Halloween in a row. You’d think they’d stop selling fireworks to the public. Police helicopter is being pelted with them (well, that is what they’re attempting to do, bless them).

Type ‘kirkton’ into Twitter if you want some hearty lolz. All in memory of Hector the Injector who died 3 years ago yesterday.

Hector the injector would be a cool name to have. If he hasn’t featured in porn, he doesn’t deserve that name.

Unless he injected any substance he could get his hands on rather than injecting the orifices of his victims with bollock yoghurt.
