Magnus has been a bit of a weirdo about it but Hans definitely cheated. I think it's basically 100% irrefutable that he's cheated loads in online games, I'm almost certain he has OTB, and against Magnus recenly... I mean, probably.

Team Magnus (he seems quite cool, in general) but I doubt the guy cheated vs Magnus, think he was just taking a stand/using a platform that other chess players don't have.

Team Magnus.

He has cheated lots in the past, and certainly cheated OTB against Magnus.

Anal beads.

I'm on the side of whoever cheated. It's about time chess had some action.

I just liked the BBC article the other day that was rolling this in with stories about cheating in fishing and some.other shit because none of the stories on their own are interesting enough.

All a ploy to increase the profile of chess in general. Niemann the unsuspecting fall guy.

How can he have cheated in their actual game? I reckon the spastic is just seething at losing, so Team Hans.

Something about a tactical blueberry yoghurt.

This inevitably leads to cavity searches on game shows, so lol

There's no real evidence he did cheat over the board against Magnus (or has ever cheated over the board) but it has been proven it wouldn't be very difficult.

At that level, they wouldn't need all the computer moves fed to them. People like Magnus have said he wouldn't actually need ANY moves fed to him; all he'd need is an indication that it's a critical moment or a hint as to which of two moves are better and he'd never lose another game.

Something like that could be easily achieved with a small device hidden somewhere about their person which could indicate to them "this is a big moment". Hence the vibrating anal beads silliness. Devices that can give a signal and get past the metal detectors they use have been shown to be easy enough to make.

Really not a fan of non-chess heads getting all up into the game recently after that Netflix shit and now this.
