I just played a few friendlies with the loan Zidane - he's great but the Stamina is a bit of a concern. He was fried by the end of a not particularly arduous game where he was just a roaming CAM rather than playing as a true CM.

He was fine - he's not Mbappe or one of the speedy midgets like Correa/Gomez, of course. The counter to that is that he was great in defence as well as he's a big lad and a great all rounder.

This Centurions promo seems pretty meh? All these cards have a pretty glaring weakness (awful balance or strength mainly). They really shit the bed on the power curve this year, skipped the 83-85 bit and went balls deep into ~87-89 territory but now it's been three months or so of them releasing pretty much the same card ad infinitum with a different badge :moop:

I used to use Ballack as a free kick taker in(I think) '19 for that very reason. They could move the keeper during free kicks then and would wait for his run up to start before moving said keeper over to the place most shots would go. But I'd do a power free kick aiming right to the side where the keeper was stood. So many times they'd just let Ballack thump it into an empty net and then they'd quit from embarrassment after.

Review of Modric after 8 games of Rivals: he's mustard. Some lovely silky movement and magic passing. Shooting is pretty weak and so he's only really a threat up close but he's mainly an assist merchant.

Amusingly I have hardly played Rivals since 23 came out and so was in Div 8. Won 8 straight games and got promoted twice in about 2 hours, wrecking some absolute noobs. Mostly rage quits but had two people stick around for the whole thing and I scored about 9-10 in both games. I've had tougher games in Squad Battles :D

VVD came from a League SBC Small Rare Gold Pack, as did Bobby Carlos. Joao Cancelo was out of one the Centurions pack (the other was horrific, without even a walkout). Neymar from a Jumbo Rare Gold Players (sat behind a binman IF walkout).

So one of my mans has recently bene playing ultimate team for the first team. The past week I have been showing him. I warned him, stay away from the menu's as much as possible.
